Disappointed. Seemed to be good, lots to read, decent articles, etc. Now, if a video comes up, there's no way to mute or stop it, can't find anything in the Setting to stóp autoplay or mute, and whenever I click an article I get one paragraph in and it freezes up and kicks me back to the list of articles. What good is a news app that's yelling at you and won't let you read the articles? So very disappointed.

Right out of the box this app failed. I bought a subscription for Epoch Times and was sent a text link to dl this app. Tried to set up an account and it said email address already exists. Okay, makes sense since I just signed up for a sub. But the app wouldn't allow me to create a password. Tried "forgot password", entered email address and it just hangs... Repeat above, still hangs with no way to create/reset a password. Now I have to find a way to contact tech support. Should be easier. :/

Other than the occasional newspaper, yeah....I'm a dinosaur, I've never paid for news. Over the past few years, as my distrust in Main Stream Media grew, I looked more closely at what was considered "Fridge" news outlets. The Epoch Times caught my eye and I read everything that was available free to me. As that availability shrank (in an effort to get me to subscribe) I found myself copying it's headlines and doing Google searches. Eventually, I subscribed. HUGE! LOVE IT! Best move I've made!

It more difficult to maneuver within and find desired content than using links in a well setup morning or evening email digest. Example: In mu digest there is a link to a story. Click it and it brings up the story on the website. I can not find or read that story in the app. Which is a bummer because I am setup to receive what I want to read/understand. makes the app partially useless. Good for browsing content.

I really wanted to like this app. But within 5 seconds of opening an article, a pop-up ad covers the article without a way to dismiss it. It demands a subscription, which I will not agree to, until I see how I like the app. I'm sorry, but I got so aggravated, since several articles I read the first three sentences, got into it and BLAM! POPUP! So I uninstalled it.

I'm having a hard time even verifying my email! I was trying to sign up for a subscription but if they can't get this straight, it makes me leary. Also, how come you can't watch this on Apple TV!? Are you stuck in the app? if it's $100 a year, at least let us stream on Apple TV, Roku, etc. Lastly, the app doesn't sync between Android and Apple devices!

I have had the app subscription for almost a year and have loved it. But recently any time I click a notification I get a message saying, "You're offline, try again." And I can't move forward. I can't view any content. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, i've tried disabling my VPN (you guys better NEVER bow to that Baal, of being incompatible with those of us who value freedom from surveillance!), and I cannot get to content. So i'm canceling my subscription. Massive disappointment.

BEST place for news and other info. So much more than just news. Documovies, health education, really great games, and more. My only issue at all is that the games function poorly. If you have to swipe the screen as part of how to play a game the screen will scroll up or down instead of actually playing the game. And I can't play any games that require landscape mode because half of the game is lost off the screen. I really would like to be able to enjoy the games more.

I don't mind paying for this service. I like the Epoch times alot. I hate downloading a "free" app knowing I will get commercials and advertising and thats fine. But then none of the articles are readable with out a subscription. It feels like a bait and switch. If I can read the articles for free with advertising GREAT! If I need to subscribe! Great its a great value. But don't have me download a "free" app with advertising and get me scrolling through headlines only to find out that I c

Enjoyed it for a few weeks until it quit working. I kept getting news notifications, but the articles failed to open. I no longer recall the error message. And yes, I was/am, happily, a paid Epoch Times subcriber. The publication is great (and badly needed), but they have a lot of work remaining on their smart phone apps. I removed the app some months back...haven't thought to retry it.

This app is adequate, and does what it says. But, I'm uninstalling. They don't seem to offer an ad supported version, and this app does not offer anything that would make it worth subscribing to, as there are multiple other good conservative apps that report the same stories without a subscription. Once you get past the trial period, which I didn't realize existed, it's just a nuisance, because it gives you headlines in notifications, but you can't read the story. Pop ups to subscribe even after subscribing very annoying. Had this app a while ago and really liked the content and reporting but I just a didn't have time to read then so I cancelled. Now after resubscribing I get pop up add at subscribe after touching log in the app tells me I'm already logged in. When you down swipe on the ad it brings you back out to the jump page. I'm about to cancel. Update Seems as though my original subscription did not go through. I reapplied an now working.

The app is fairly well organized and much easier to use and navigate than the website. As news organizations go, I'd call them reasonably unbiased. They clearly have a tilt, which is mostly rather center right. But they come much closer to the traditional journalism that every MSM organization has abandoned wholesale in the last decade. In other words, they seem to make a sincere effort to strive for objectivity.

They keep breaking the site. They add features to the mobile app, then take them away when trying to fix a bug. The totally revamped the commenting feature of the app, then a few weeks later went back to the original method, except now you can't scroll the comments once you change the sort order. simply horrible.

TOP headlines & "NTD News Today"should be at the TOP of the home page! (Currently they're scattered randomly.) 2. Great text-to-speech option, but it's not avaolable in the Spanish version of this app! 3. Nice "Hispanic World" news tab is not available in the English version of this app. 4. Bookmarks can be saved, but not located when needed, and are lost forever when reinstalling the app. 5. Does not allow unlimited sharing with other PAID subscribers??

Been a subscriber since 2020. Never had any problems until now. ISSUE #1- I've recently noticed 3rd party ads in the app. If I'm paying for a digital subscription then why am I seeing 3rd party ads? Make a "free with ads" tier & you will probably get a ton of people using it- but not me. Despise ads in things I pay for. ISSUE #2- can't comment. Goes to top of comment section & freezes. My reply box is gone. Have to exit out of story to main page to unfreeze. Annoying.

Have only had for a few hours, but so far it's outstanding compared to other news apps I've used. Ads are not intrusive and you can actually read an article or story without disruption from pop ups and click bait. News topics are neatly categorized at the top allowing you access to a variety of topics easily. I would highly recommend this news app.
