I started using the app because I go to Halal guys once or twice a week. But this app doesn't cater to Toronto. Cannot order online since Toronto store is not listed. :( Also, QR code or barcode scanning in Toronto Canada store don't work. Gave two stars because the point system for digital card is great.

The app doesn't let you add a fountain drink because it asks to select a flavor (which is unnecessary considering they just give you the empty cup to get it yourself), but there's no drop-down menu or radio button to select a flavor, and there's no way to proceed past it.

I was trying to get the free offer of a side and drink. The app said I had to be there to redeem the offer. When I picked up my order, employees said I had to redeem before I got there through the app. It was empty at the restaurant and they still made the food when I got there. Whats the point of ordering through the app?

The app lacks in user experience. some icons are too small, the design language isn't consistent with how mobile apps should be. Biggest problem with the app is that you cannot modify favorite orders or delete the ones that you no longer want there. For curbside you can't save your vehicle which is not that big of a problem but would be nice to have.

End up getting screwed big-time by updating the app, points out of a recent transaction was not added somehow or for some reason and I lost my previos points, lost my free drink and it appears that they increased in the pointst needed to get your next free Platter... significantly higher than what it was...more th gam twice what it was...not cool...I got royally screwed I might just stop going to this place just because this

This new Halal Guys app is not good at all. I needed to reset my password to log in, but it won't send me a link. I saw someone else ran into the same exact problem. You also can't check out as a guest, and for some reason I need an invite code in order to make a new account. I really hope this app gets fixed soon, because I haven't been able to use it since this new version launched.

Too many times I went into the restaurant I order from and they tell me they don't have the order ready and are working on them one by one because the orders don't come through, so ordering through the app was useless. The last time it happened I just left without my order. Getting in line was faster sometimes.

I only use the app to get points for my purchases, but a lot of times, the scanner at the store beeps when reading the QR code off my app, but doesn't actually record my purchase, but of course, the app doesn't confirm my points until after I leave the store, so I won't realize that I didn't get my points until after I'm long gone from the store. Also, the app says it can scan receipts to get points, which would be a good solution to the above, but there's actually no way to do that on the app.

i like the food but every time i order through the app my order is wrong or missing something. Last time they forgot the sauces for my whole order of 2 platters and a gyro. Have someone check the orders before they go out or something... or please train employees to pay more attention to order details. if this hadnt happened more than 5 times than I probably would have rated 4 stars because the app is still janky with the reward system every once in a while

I like their food a lot, but the app is basically useless for ordering. Every location I've been to has a soda fountain, but does not allow the option to order a fountain drink. So I have to order in person, but half the time coupons in the app won't open in the store. They open fine a hundred feet away, but not inside the store...

The worst app. It wont accept my points when I input them and it doesn't work in store scan as well. I was so close to getting a free platter and couldn't obtain anymore points so long that all my points had expired. love the food but the app is one of the worst.

Very poorly built, features don't work. I get emails with great updates regarding the straightforward rewards program. Unfortunately the android app I have does not support the functionality. Even the closet store I frequently visit have no way to provide me a receipt with a barcode that I can scan using the app. The app mentions you can upload a receipt (but finding a place to upload would be a good place for the developers to investigate). Sent the rewards team two emails and no response.

I have a stock Google Pixel 2 XL and the app works fine for about a minute before popping up saying "Your device basic integrity test check failed, Signs of system integrity compromise, such as rooting" My device isn't rooted or modified in any way, but the app thinks it is, so I can't place an online order or do much of anything because as soon as I verify the prompt, it closes the app. No point in preventing rooted phones anyway as there's nothing anyone should be able to do with a food ordering app with root permissions that they couldn't do without them.

I bought things there once in a while, and the food was great, but I was thinking to myself why I haven't gotten my free platter yet? Then I saw their points system expired. So if you don't eat there like everyday, it's pointless to get their app. This is the only place I know that have expired points. This app discourage me from going there anymore when I have other places that doesn't have expired points. Very disappointed.

The app is ok for ordering for pickup, except for the occasional missing item. Rewards and free stuff are nearly impossible to redeem. Even though I meet all the terms for the reward the app will say not valid for this purchase for the in-store scanner doesn't work. And when I check back on the app it will say reward redeemed even though I didn't get it.

It's a rip off! Had a promotion for 50% off but the catch is that you can't apply the promotion for... that they provide you through the app even though it says you have to wait until you arrive. Why would you need to wait until you arrive to order just so you can apply? It defeats the entire purpose of using the app and they wouldn't just refund the difference. It's a scam to get you to come again even though the promotion said today was the final day for the offer. A two day promo. Crooks!

Don't trust delivery. You might be on their app but it's third party. And if you call to clarify your order (they frequently get notes wrong), they don't see your order even though you're receiving texts that's it's on the way. And even though I talked through it all with a friendly person, the order was still wrong. Brilliant in store to go food. Disaster delivery and pickup. Only trust them if you see them

Useless app. Every Halal Guys location I go to, they always tell me the same thing when I try to scan my account: "Oh, our rewards system is currently not working right now." This is EVERY location, by the way. And it hasn't been working for the past 2 years I've been trying this. What's the point of having a rewards program when NONE of your restaurants participate or never have the system working?? Also, like many other people here, I lost so many previous points from the past. Useless.

App is fine but clearly the staff at restaurants don't know how the app works. Coupons don't seem to matter and ETA don't seem to matter. I've applied coupons, no one noticed it on the order. I've arrived and they only start making the food once I arrive, but before. Also anytime brewed drink is ordered it does not seem to appear on the orders for the staff. So I've had lemonades and iced teas missed on multiple occasions.

Had the app for a while and now it doesn't recognize me. It says I can migrate to their new system, but when I enter my info, it says I already have an account, which is true, and I'm trying to tie into that account, so it's odd that it isn't tying into the existing account. It also prompts for "card number" which is really vague. Is that the "credit card number"? My rewards card number? It doesn't have other credit card fields you normally see when entering credit card information.
