NOT your average room escape game! I got the first "The Room" game for free and enjoyed it enough to buy this one. After this one, I was completely hooked! Gorgeous graphics, intuitive controls, truly difficult but sensible puzzles, and most unusually for a room escape game, the ongoing story is really good, and quite deep! Like, I would happily read a book with this storyline. The story gets better with every game in the series, and I'm honestly sad I don't have any more to play after Old Sins.

Among the best puzzle/adventure games I've encountered in a long time and on any platform. It's particularly well executed and tailored for mobile/touch platforms where tactile control and gestures are exploited to good affect in a way I haven't seen in other major games of this genre on other platforms. A welcome addition in this second game of the series over the first is the ability to disable the hint system (this was too easily triggered in the first game and could spoil gameplay).

4.5, rounded up. Fantastic and juuust a little creepy! I think I'm hooked. My only quibble so far is that when I DO get stuck and need to rely on a clue, they always seem to be 2 or 3 steps behind what I've already discovered, which can be a bit frustrating. Otherwise, great puzzles, curiosity-friendly. SUCH cool design! Two thumbs up!

Lots of people complain that this one is to short but I think it's a fine length, especially since it's not as expensive as the other ones. The graphics and controls are good, I'm glad they allowed full 360 view of objects in the next game though. It's worth the 1.99 and is a good introduction to what the series is like if you're put off by the price because you're cheap like me.

Well-built puzzles, an enticing and enthralling story, a really cool history, this game is awesome! A few minor control issues here and there that made the game mildly infuriating (the coin game, sometimes I'd direct the coin down and it would move right or left instead), but not bad enough to hinder gameplay. Brilliant work, best puzzle game I've played.

Another masterfully crafted escape room game by the dev. Better graphics than the first, and has some seriously creepy vibes, visuals, and moments. Story still doesn't make much sense but is properly threaded with mystery that will presumably get explained in later games. Puzzles are creatively themed but for the most part not as enjoyable as the original, especially since they arent tied to as intricately crafted puzzle boxes but are instead spread out.

Wonderful puzzle game. A very mysterious, kind of spooky vibe to it. There are some places where the controls can be frustrating, but I think that's just a result of combing point and click with heavily interactive on a mobile device. The story is mostly up to the user to engage with, but it isn't necessary either.

Super good 'n' stuff. At least as good as the first one. The puzzles did seem a little easier than the first one but maybe there were more of them? Great graphics and sound. Lame story and reading the letters is useless except for a couple - meaning you have to plod through all the drivel for a couple important clues. But that's par for the course with this type of game so I don't count it as a strike. Everything else was great, just wish it was a little longer.

Reminds me of Myst and Riven from when I was a kid. If you enjoy puzzle boxes, mechanical puzzles and logic puzzles you will love it. It is challenging but not overly difficult. Story is mysterious and intriguing, if a bit shallow. It's not too hard to beat in a few hours. I played the original and this one both in one day. If you are playing casually though it will probably last you quite a bit longer than it did for me. I attacked it hard. Great game for a mobile game, and no pay to win.

Awesome, but only a few hours of entertainment... I love the game. It is interesting and engaging. The puzzles are very fun and creative. My ONLY criticism is that room 2 was pretty easy for me to get through. I still really enjoyed it, but I do hope they get slightly more complicated. I would also prefer one hand with different packs rather than individual games for each new series of puzzles. Still I recommend this. I am on to the next room.. Even though I am paying too much for it.

Room Two is much creepier than its predecessor, with the addition of multiple "locations" in each room and a growing unease about its mysterious element. The puzzle solutions are less intuitive than Room, but are never worthy of an eye-roll when you figure it out. I look forward to the next installment!

This is, in my opinion, the gold standard of mobile gaming (and thats what I thought for the first entry to this series as well, but the sequel builds upon the success of the first 'The Room'). It's a game you can play anywhere, and it keeps you hooked with intriguing puzzles. I was completely enamored from the start, and couldn't put it down. Great job to the team over at Fireproof!

I really like this game! it's the perfect level of challenging and eerie. the problem i have, however, is that on the chapter with the crossbow (i can't remember what the exact chapter is), ill get pretty far in the chapter, but then I pause the game and leave to do other things off my phone, and when I come back to the game, it puts me in the little doorway at the beginning of the chapter, and won't let me go anywhere. no matter what I do, I can't get unstuck. the only way is to restart chapter

Great experience so far, except for 3rd chapter. There's a bug where if you save/quit in the middle of the chapter, it resets your position in the room to the beginning, with all items you've collected up to that point, with no way to interact with any parts of the rest of the room. The only solution here is to restart the chapter, and progress until you finish the entire chapter. Not sure if anyone else has run into this.

Another amazing gaming experience. The puzzles are the perfect level of difficulty and the rooms are large enough but not so large you struggle to figure out where to go next (unlike a similar series I won't name). Perfection and so happy I bought this. My only sadness is I only have one game from this developer left.

I normally don't waste anytime reviewing games, since most are mediocre. However, this game is beyond fantastic! Well designed, intriguing and delightful, this game is the most flawless, immersive horror puzzle game I have ever come across. Plus, there are no ads on this free game, which shows this is an ethical game designer, which makes me want to support them even more. An ethical, well designed game made with love is a rarity and a gem we should treasure. P.S. Check the main menu clock ;)

This takes the first Rooms game, and makes several improvements. The graphics and gameplay are every bit as good, but the puzzles are even better IMO - there's more depth to the game, with longer and more complex levels, more story and generally "more game". Only issue is that object placement can still be infuriating at times, which does detract from the experience. But that's it - would give it 4.5 stars if I could

I finished it but I was annoyed the whole time. The game is too dark, not colorblind friendly, and the controls are awkwardly clunky. Also the hints are dumb. "This key must unlock something." No kidding? My whole reason for using a hint is because I haven't played it in a week and don't want to wrestle the controls to scour the whole room for a keyhole. After the first two I don't think I'm playing more of these. Inexpensive at least.

Another great game. I'm using a Z Fold and full screen mode cuts off some of the game on the sides. If you're having this problem, go to Settings > Display > Full Screen Apps, and change the ratio to 16:9. That fixes it. It's not as big as full screen mode, but it's better than using front screen only, like I was doing for a while. Some of the puzzles were literally unplayable until I figured this out. Otherwise, it's a beautiful, challenging game! I can't wait to play the other two!

Another brilliant game in The Room Series. Beautiful, haunting, immersive puzzle solving. Not easy, but not so difficult that it is discouraging. No ads, nothing required from the player other that a one time purchase. Then, all you have to do is play, and enjoy. I REALLY appreciate that. I'm off now, to download #3. I am truly enjoying this series and hope that other games from these folks follow the same no nonsense business model.
