Great idea, terrible execution. If you're looking for a restaurant booking app, you're sorted. If you're looking to find a great restaurant then good bloody luck! It's like every restaurant is the best restaurant in the city...baffling. it doesn't really reflect quality but is sure making the creators a lot of money. Shame. It had a lot of potential to be different from the crowd.

TheFork is fantastic, we are often a large group and this App allows us to try a number of different restaurants at significant saves. We have returned to many of these establishments so it is truly a win-win situation. Thanks.

I have accumulated 50eruo worth of points, but out of sudden my account was in suspended status while I was in Italy, no support, no explanation, no validation, such a scam app

Had the three tier sea food platter at Fish works in Swallow street, bread and chips as sides. This was enough for two people, it was delicious the service was lovely. I definitely recommend, I will be going there again. Plus saved 30% off the bill by booking via The Fork. Highly recommend 👌 👍

Points that expire is a big negative. This is a disincentive to use this app. It just makes the company cheap asses. It also means the company is not loyal to its customers. Additionally, it is almost impossible to use the points. Only the bad restaurants accept them. What's the point?

I made a reservation for a restaurant in Madrid, Spain using the app when I made the reservation it clearly stated that there was 40% discount at the restaurant, we were a party of 5. Then, at the restaurant (El Horno de Juan, Goya) on April 24, 2024, when I asked for the check there was no discount at all. The staff of the restaurant was very rude, a terrible experience. I wrote a review on the Fork app but it was erased, they claimed that there was not a discount at all. Be careful.

Would be great if you could send push notifications using the language of the app, not the language of the country where I booked the table last time, because OBVIOUSLY people travel and book tables in foreign countries, where foreign language is spoken.

After signing up, I'm not able to access anything under my profile: settings, forkpay, signing out, etc. However, I assist to be able to still make reservations and manually put in a credit card. I'm on a Pixel 7 Pro, latest update.

I used to love The Fork. However, things started going downhill when they introduced an expiration date in their loyalty program. There are few restaurants that accept yums in my country, so it's hard to use them unless I travel abroad. Now I have no motivation to use The Fork over competitors, since yums are basically worthless to me. I feel stupid for accumulating them in the past, since the have basically gone to waste.

The (Android) app is getting worse. For months now I have been unable to read the reviews in the app, giving the error "Technical problem. Retry", whereas on the web site everything is working fine. I would assume being able to read reviews is one of the main aspects of a service like The Fork.

2 bad experiences with this app: 1. Booked a restaurant for 4 people with a discount, arrived at the place, the owner tells us they don't work with "The fork" anymore. We had to leave while it's purring rain outside. 2. Booked a place with a discount, this time they had the reservation, and when we got the bill we realized there was no discount. Why?: The Fork app allows you to "skip" the step of chosing the discount, and I pressed it by mistake (thinking it's optional). Very disappointed! 😡

Tried to book a particular restaurant via the fork. Continually received system error message when confirming, yet was charged 5 times with no booking confirmation. Just signed up to fork today.....

To view my booking they sent me a link that promoted me to make an account and download their app. They could have just sent the booking details to my phone number, but they seem more interested in getting users registered. I chose to log in with Google but I still had to give them all my details, including a password for some reason. Once everything was set up I could still not view my booking! Just viewing a booking should not be this complicated.

This app is a great tool for making reservations at restaurants that subscribe to the service. I'm too old to learn Portuguese or Spanish (believe me, I've tried), so being able to make a reservation without having to call and risk screwing it up is very reassuring. I appreciate having my contact information saved so that making reservations only requires a few clicks. It seems many, perhaps most, of the restaurants don't accept payment through The Fork's app.
