Very intrusive! It opens every time I open my phone. I can't delete it because it's a default app

Hate the pop ups and that you can never accurately uninstall it to were it will not come back. Why can't people understand not everyone wants or uses the same app for the news. Absolutely the most annoying app I've ever delt with.

You can tell when an app cannot make it, and is no good, because they will not allow you to uninstall so that way it looks like they got lots of subscribers. It auto installed . I never use it. So it uses my space on my phone. So then this is really not my phone I am just leasing it.

I don't like it. Got a new phone and this keeps popping up every day. Went into settings and disabled it. Hope that stops the thing popping up. Uninstalled all updates, because somehow-even without me ever opening it or setting it up-it still had almost a gig of user data?

Absolute garbage intrusive malware. It auto-installed on my phone and I can't get rid of it. It opens up every time I turn on my phone and slows it way down with no way to remove it. It's a poison.

The app is invasive and won't uninstall even though the option was selected. Hopefully the 'Disable' function followed by the 'Force Stop' will keep the darn thing from opening up again. I'm posting this review for my mom as she asked me to delete. I thought it worked the first time I did it but it did not.

I'd LOVE to have this app remover because I f*c*i*g hate this app with a passion and it's more of a pest that my siblings used to be when we were kids and even then, they weren't this bad and at least I loved the annoyance from them meanwhile all this does is give me a migraine and it doesn't help that I have short term memory and I lose my train of thought every time I need to do something important on my phone and I can't even enjoy myself because of it, itm so ready to get a different phone!!

This app sucks and Everytime you try turning on your phone it always shows up. No matter if I enable it, it NEVER wants to leave. I'm scared to delete it though because it makes it seem like the entire phone is going to stop working. Horrible app!

I don't enjoy looking at news. But I can't remove the stupid app. Please make it deletable! I don't even want it. On the plus side (/sar), it's intrusive and pops up multiple times a day. As much as I like Cricket way more than Tracphone, not being able to delete some news app I don't care about stinks

My friend and I enjoy the daily horoscope , some. Times they hit sometimes not. But it's just for fun. We both believe in the Devine so just droping our stress and relaxing a bit.

HORRIBLE!!! This app came built into my phone. I tried to force stop it. I tried to cancel it. There's no way to uninstall it. I went to settings and shut off the notifications for it. But it's like a wart that won't go away! It interrupts my music with stupid notifications even though I turned off notifications! Just freaking go away! Zero stars!!!

App probably is good for some people, but for me, this app is a nuisance. Pops up every time phone is opened and app has to be closed before you can answer a call or do anything else. It does provide a lot of good information and and news items, but they are interspaced with too many ads and a lot of things that to me are junk, or just plain garbage.

Cricket Wireless will not allow this to be uninstalled, and reactivates it after every (mandatory) system upgrade. It pops up EVERY time you unlock your phone and fills your screen, no matter what you actually want to do with the device you paid for. This is literally malware. Factory installed malware. It's an alternative revenue stream (contains ads) for the carrier at the expense of its users' time and sanity. So skeezy. Cricket Wireless and its parent company, AT&T should be ashamed.

Annoying. I understand that Cricket wants it's preinstalled software to be used, but don't force us to use see it every time we enter our phone please. Also, the settings button is useless because it just brings us to the play store, can't even change to dark mode which would be an improvement for the app because the white background is pretty jarring with all of the empty screen space there is on the app.

This application comes preinstalled on phones as a subscriber to Cricket. I love the idea they're trying to accomplish with this app, but it's very unnecessary. I quickly became frustrated when trying to use my phone for non-entertainment purposes, and felt like the app was a distraction. To disable the pop-up, I went into the app settings, and blocked notifications, as well as disabled all permissions. Haven't seen a pop-up from theSCOOP since.

This app comes pre-installed as bloatware through my carrier. DO NOT INSTALL!! It is nothing more than an add carrier. The few actual news articles are from "sorces" I've never heard of. Most of the "articles are sponsored adds made to look like news headlines. Most importantly (for those with any kind of data limit or cap) it used 320 MB of data in 48 hours. It's always running in the background.

Annoying doesn't even cover it! BUT I THINK I have fixed it: Go to settings, then apps and notifications; then when the new page shows, click notifications. It'll show the apps on top & below that, click on notifications-it brings you to a list of app names w/ sliding switches to turn on or off. Go to recently sent & click see all. Scroll down the list til you get to the scoop, then slide the switch off (the opposite way the other apps are switched). Then the scoop shouldn't pop up again

I wanted to read one article. Now it pops up every time I turn on my screen. I turned off the permissions, not allowing it to pop up over other things, still does. It had messed up my progress in several endeavors, whether an important conversation, a job application, a game, important information that disappeared when it clicked off of what I was viewing. And to find out it's using 4 and a half gigs of data when I'm not even half way through the month? What the hell? Do better Kricket.

It's intrusive and the fact that is hard or impossible to "hide" because it is preinstalled on the phone makes it even more annoying. A choice to see this app full of articles about entertainment would make it more interesting if that is your interest. Or maybe an option to install it and then choose your interests. But personally I Hate It and have tried in every way to keep it off my screen! I hope you take some of my options for the content provided into consideration. Thx 😊

This app opens up automatically after opening the screen. I just tried to go in the settings and nothing is cut throat about how to stop that. I believe it is the "Allow to go over apps" setting but we shall see. New update: Well with the new update it seems nothing works except pausing the app. You will have to pause it every morning though...
