Pretty negative. Getting card payments accepted was a hurdle. Suggesting that my bank ( Nationwide) might not deal with tier is a bit disengenuous. I dont want google or apple pay as this is just another needless rigmorale Being told to verify I had the latest app was also daft since I'd just installed it from playstore. The helpline referred to a "side bar" but nowhere on any of the pages did this dialogue appear. Total waste of time. Sorry Tier, I'll ride my own e bike or use my bus pass.

I'm in Germany, and the problem I have with this service is that they have the best quality scooters, but the apps map keeps glitching. This USED to be my favorite company, but now I've learned my lesson. This is the last time I get robbed for €25 when the trip SHOULD have costed less than €3. The customer service doesn't answer either, and this process costed me 30min and almost made me late for work.

Wasn't made clear about the first free ride or how the piss works. Just spent 25£ getting to town on one that was dumped by my house. I put it in payee and when I went to get back in it had just cut off and charged me. Even the pass is deceiving as you still pay for minutes. I ride really slowly. Btw. Was looking for alternative transport as I have a disability and can't walk far. Well these are if the cards now fit sure. Really unhappy with the whole experience and it cost me 25£ for it.

They effwctively stole my money and support is not available. So I bought a Tier pass to use for multiple rides. When I arrived at my destination the app informed me that rides with the Tier app are no longer possible and refer me to a different app. The pass however does not seem to be transferable. When I went to look for support in the app there only was the option to call a number. When I called the given number I was referred to a chatbot which doesn't exist anymore.

Have had countless trips with some sort of technical error, either with starting or with parking, resulting in being charged much more than trip, missing trains, appointments etc etc. huge downgrade from voi

The worst app I have ever used or felt the need to comment on. Consistently not working properly, location off all the time, load up times take forever, the locks on the bikes don't correspond to the app, the map is always off with not telling you the correct details, parking can be a nightmare as it tells you you are stood about 20 m from the spot when you are in it. Too many times I've had the app cause me to be late or stressed. Only + is the quick customer support team.

100% the worst app I've ever used. It regularly doesn't work, getting stuck loading when scanning a scooter, telling you random scooters aren't available after you've reserved them and a host of other bugs and missing features from the Vois. I find it hard to believe there is anyone actually working at the company as the same bugs and problems have been around for months now, just look at all the other reviews. If I worked for Tier in any capacity I would leave it off my CV out of embarrassment.

The only reason this is getting more than one star is because it's better than walking sometimes. Otherwise, one of the worst scooter apps I've ever used. I've had scooters stop working when going round a roundabout and going uphill, which meant I almost got hit by a car. It also constantly says there are no parking spots, which just adds extra admin to every ride. Hopefully the council break this contract and we can get a different company in.

The most awful app ever. Everything was fine until I had to reinstall the app. On doing so overtime I try to add a payment card they are declined by the app. I don't have any problems with my cards on any other app apart from this one. Sadly Tier say the problem is with my banks which it's not as I continue to use my cards daily with no issues at all. Really disappointed

I would rather take the bus to go to get the nearest Voi scooter than ride a Tier that's right in front of me. You should be able to park anywhere within the zone and not just the parkings, like the Voi app. If you are always forced to park in the "parking spots" you always have to walk to your destination anyway and that's just absurd. If or when this changes, I'll update my review.

A big downgrade from Voi. Most trips end with the app saying I can't park because I'm not in a designated parking zone, even though I definitely am. The power cuts out because it thinks I'm in a pedestrian zone, even though I'm clearly on a road, which can put me in danger because of fast moving cars. The e-bikes sometimes won't unlock because it thinks it's already unlocked when they're not. My phone flies out of the holder really easily and the app doesn't offer navigation. I miss Voi!

Has been getting worse and worse over the years. The e-rollers need some serious maintenance. Every single one either has a loose kickstand, too soft breaks, something unknown rattling, or another issue. The recent addition of specific parking areas just makes even less desirable to use. Not all parking areas are clearly marked on the apps map. The ones that are marked are far apart and unlikely areas for people to stop at, making it a chore to return them.

Intransparent pricing when using passes, which looks to be made on purpose — you buy a pass for 40 minutes and get charged additionally, even if you are within the 40-minute mark. Only after that I I could see that each ride covered with pass is limited to 20 minutes, and the rest should be payed additionally. Never saw that with other providers, neither was it made clear when purchasing the pass. These kind of tricks ruin the whole experience, and I probably would avoid Tier from now on.

Terrible! Do not recommend. My ride should've been ~20 min. About 5 min in, it quit working. Idk why. There's no way to see your trip before going, so if I went through a restricted area,I had no way of knowing that would've been a problem before starting. Also, I wasn't even "rolling" the scooter, but actively had to push against resistance in the tires to make it move. For 45 minutes until I got to a parking spot. I don't even have a way to request a refund because their chat is broken.

Absolute garbage. I understand that you're trying to rely on GPS to limit people from going on the sidewalks, but that is the absolutely most asinine implementation possible. With an average error in position f several feet, it meant that my scooter would not only stop working in the middle of traffic, but actively apply the brakes while in the middle of the street, forcing me to get off and push the piece of trash scooter onto the sidewalk. Parking spots were non-existent in a 10 block radius

The best e scooter available, but...Better than lime (and cheaper) and wind. Only scooter that can climb hills with power and speed. You can walk faster than wind. Lime is alright but not as strong as tier. Only MAJOR issue with tier is the GPS. I don't know what GPS company they use but they need to be fired. Scooters are often 50-200 meters away from where they are positioned on the map. Often times on different streets or different sides of the street.

I used the app in Vienna. Everything was fine- I bought a pass, I used it once. But then the map in the app malfunctioned. It shows only a blue screen, and doesn't show any scooter locations. I cleared cache, data, uninstalled/reinstalled... nothing works. So I can't use the remainder of my pass. Also, btw, these scooters are way heavier than any of their competitors. If you want to lift it from the street to the sidewalk, forget it.

What a garbage service. What is the point of a scooter if you can only park it in designated parking locations that are nowhere near where you're actually trying to go? There's no way to search for parking near your destination. It would have been cheaper, faster, warmer, and quicker to just take a cab that can drop you off at your actual destination and not a 10 minute walk away?

This app and service are awful. First of all it repeatedly states you can't leave in certain areas even though that's where there are several of them and where I picked it up. Secondly their customer service is effusive, but totally ineffective and take a painfully long time to reply. I hate this app and the service is a deterrent for tourists to the area.
