It's G*R*E*A*T in that it keeps the set time period, though it will indicate how much time has elapsed if you didn't hear it. This is a real asset and bonus! One thing I would modify is the Repeat Cycle. Set a new alarm today and set it to repeat every day, as I hadn't realized that it does not have the option to repeat in 1 hour or even 1 minute. The only way to get rid of it is to dump the setting and start a new one, then NO REPEAT! Please, mistakes happen, and hope the developer to correct.

I have the paid version which is nice to avoid the ads. It is a beautiful display of the tiled countdown events. I wish the background photos had a search feature to make it easier to narrow down the photos for my event. It appears they change regularly, but I have to sift through them all to select one I want, and it may not be there for a different event. Another helpful feature would be to add widgets to our home screen so we don't have to open the app to view the countdowns.

The app itself is fine. Just a couple of issues: when creating a widget, you can only choose from 8 colors to use as your background, nothing else; no personal images, no pictures from elsewhere, nothing. Also, don't expect the creator of the app to respond to your emails. He never responded to the 2 emails that I sent, which, quite frankly, I find to be rude, considering I paid for the app. Perhaps he'll answer here: do you plan to change the app to offer support for widgets so that they can have custom background images other than the 8 colors available now? Thanks.

Pretty great app, but I think it could do with more customization options. You can only set one reminder, and the max for that is 12 hours which is frustrating if you need help reminding yourself of long term projects/goals/future dates. Another issue I have is with the small widget. You can't use the same customized timer that is in the main app (choosing what time units to show). You also have limited background colors to choose from (though that's not as big of a deal as the other two).

So far, this app has a great event tracking system. I checked out many apps before settling on this one. I enjoy the background gallery selection, and that each event can be customized to what I need it to be. I also like the widget. The only thing that I would change is to add a checklist that can accompany each event. I currently am needing a separate app for this. If a to-do/checklist was added, the app would be perfect to me. Besides, keep up the good work.

Very good, I've tried using things like this before, but this is super easy to use, the widget is nice, and it's actually helped me keep my plans and schedule straight. The only complaint I have is the language selection and date format is white out, you can't actually see any of the options, but they're defaulted to your system settings it seems.

I love the variety of options to format the countdown: years, months, weeks, days, work days, hours, minutes, and/or seconds. After the countdown has completed, after it hits 0, it starts showing the number of days passed since the event. I love seeing how long it's been since the wedding and the time until our next celebration. I never have issues with the app, nor hidden fees. The background pictures and colors are easily changeable. Haven't looked for a new app since downloading this one. 5/5

This app does what it's supposed to do and it looks cool doing it. Another reviewer mentioned having albums or folders to organize them, that would be a nice feature to add in the future. Also, the ability to change the default settings to not include seconds or years if we don't want to use those, instead of just on individual countdowns. All in all, good work devs!

I love this app! I originally downloaded it to count the days until my boyfriend graduates boot camp, and from there I saw in settings that you can have older dates that also count time since, and immediately added days since I started this semester and anniversaries! I now use it as a motivator for exams, and other things I have to do, as well as for countdowns. It has a lot of different online photos to choose from and even without the locked premium settings it's easy to use and super simple!

Great functionality. The (since) feature is incredible. For keeping track of meds, feeding times for animals, watering for plants, or other cyclical tasks a breeze if you're forgetful. The timeline helps you get a bird's-eye view. The only wishlist item is being able to upload my own gifs for live backgrounds, or my own static images, especially if I have the paid version.

Homescreen widget 'literally never' loads or works anymore, even with the so-called "workaround" of using a transparent background which, itself, robs you of the knowledge of what the countdown is even counting down to. It's been broken for like a year or more, so I can't imagine how this hasn't been fixed yet. I suspect the problem has something to do with the ads that play before you can do anything in the app (like cresting a countdown, or viewing an extant countdown,) but I know nothing.

Good amount of images to use as a background, but it would be nice be able to search through them instead of scroll. Plus if you decide you want a different image, they are in a different order the next time. So you may have to scroll through them again to find the one you just saw. My biggest complaint is that its off by a day. It is one day short. Fortunately can just make the event date one day later, since none of this actually goes to a calendar. Shouldn't have to though.

Had the app for just a day but so far I really like the features, ability to make it as plain or flashy as I want with different backgrounds, different counter formats, repeats and reminders. The widget feature is good also for important ones that you want to keep up front all the time. I should note that the reminders, repeats, widgets and alarms are only in the paid ad free version for 2.99, don't want anyone to take away all that stuff being in the free version.

Does its job. Does it well. Need a reminder? Boom. Want to watch a countdown? Bam. Only 2 things I have to say about it. One; Ads are kinda intrusive but the app is free so I don't think it really matters. Two; I wish there was a millisecond option for the in app counter. I like watching it countdown and a millisecond timer would really enhance that.

It's okay but the options are very limited. Only a few fonts and you cannot move the words around - the countdown will be in the middle of your photo. I would not have bought it if I had realized that. I reached out to the developer but did not get a response. The seconds will not show up on the widget anymore either, they did for awhile then something changed and I can't bring them back.

I've been using this app for YEARS and absolutely love it!! The only suggestion I'm making (why I'm giving it 4 stars) is if we can immediately set it to weekdays only when setting up the countdown. I set it to weekdays only after the initial setup because it didn't give me the option. When I see it in grid view it shows all days, minutes etc. Mine says 58 days and have to switch to be able to see the actual weekdays view, 42 days. Other than that I love it!

So far so good! I did just get this app so I'll have to see how it continues to work. I like that there aren't a limited amount of countdowns to "reel you in." I enjoy the simplicity of this as well. Event name and date is all that's needed. More specifics including photos are optional which means I can have a clean countdown screen. One thing I either haven't figured out or there is no option is to see the countdowns all at once as a default option. There's a button to hit so this does suffice

This was just the kind of countdown app I was looking for. I love that you have the option to show not just days, but also months, minutes, seconds, etc. unlike another app I tried. The amount of customization is great along with being able to add countdowns to my home screen. I think the one-time purchase for premium is worth it too.

It works, but your display options are limited. For a widget you hope for something to inform you, in this case keep track of a date. Hee you can, but either by using a huge display area or a smaller area that's bright white. If they eventually provide some display options for the widgets I'll happily buy it. For now, I'm waiting to see if I adapt to the jarring white background or if I move on to try another of the many countdown apps.
