I thought logging in might bring back some of my previous time sheets from my old phone. It doesn't. But it did trigger a "free trial" for their cloud back up service that I do not need. I already pay for a cloud service and honestly can't afford a second one, esp. If it ONLY works with this app. I would suggest to the app makers that they pair up with a known cloud service (like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.). I used to love this app but now it seems like it's more about the money than it's original function. I use to suggest this app to other crafters as the best way to track labor.. There also isn't an option in the app to cancel the trial. Please cancel the free trial for cloud service. I don't want it.

The time tracking app itself does what it should, tracks your time by project and task. The interface is relatively straight forward, I had a little trouble finding where to enter my notes for the task at first but after that it was easy. The 2 stars is for the predatory pricing. I always purchase apps that I use on a regular basis. This developer is charging $120 A YEAR for access to all the features listed. That is well outside what the app is worth and not worth the investment.

I really want to love this app, but I can't. Biggest issue: No option to add dollar amounts as one-time gains as opposed to hourly payments, which throws off the flow for tasks taking far less or more than an hour that are not based on the hour. Second issue: Option to copy task to another project is nice enough, but far less likely to be useful compared to option to copy to another DATE AND TIME in the same project. Let me know you're working on implementing these functions, and I'll be glad to return to this otherwise very functional and beautiful app.

I love this app. The one downfall is that you can't switch between profiles when logging into a different account, but I think that's because I'm only using the free version. I've tried using other apps to keep my web dev time tracking separate from my writing time tracking and I hate the other apps. I keep coming back to this for all of it even though I don't like having everything in the same "space".

Took a little bit of time to dig through how it is all parsed together. However the functionality is great with a no frills UI that makes this app all about efficiency, albeit with some flaws of it's own (but in the same vein as the flaws you come to grow fond of in your first car) that could possibly be improved upon. The app itself is representative of it's very purpose to me, and for that I appreciate everything about it.

I use this app hourly. It is fantastic for my consulting business. I have many clients, and I bill hourly. I need to keep track of which projects I am working on a weekly and daily basis. The timer function is great. It chimes every so often to remind that the clock is running. If I didn't start the timer at the right time, it is just a couple of presses to correct it. With the task filters, I can see what my expected revenue is per project and for the month.

I really like this app, I think it's very good at what it does the only thing I'd like to see is being able to use multiple rates at the same time, so I dont have to create and overtime / Holiday rate that also has an hourly increase when I'm on call. then instead of creating 9 different very specific rates I can just combine from a list of 3

Solid app. Love the different time scale options and both graph types (bar chart over a time range, overall pie chart). It's also fairly easy to add work sessions that you forgot to start the timer for. CSV exporting is awesome, but what really brought me back to Timesheet was the dark theme. Much easier on the eyes, and integrated a beautiful new color scheme.

I've been using this app for a couple of years and I like it's capabilities. but recently my phone had to be reset and the daily backup would not restore the correct recent information. I'm grateful that I had exported last billing's information, but I've lost much data I've input with no response from the programmer. Very frustrating!

Why do the preferences get reset every update? Specifically backup frequency. Backup and Restore > Schedule switches back to daily every time there's an update. Can't it save the user preference? There have been multiple updates and this simple fix is still not done. I guess I don't understand that. Otherwise, great App!

Backups to Google drive have started failing in the last week. November 3rd of 2019. I've logged out and deleted all past backups then logged back in and they are still failing. Pleased fix and I'll change my rating. 11/05/19: Updated my rating. The new version cleared the path used for saving the local backup. I set the path manually and the backups are working again.

SOLVED: Tasker: make Profile Timesheet Trigger Phone Ringing Make Task Wait 3 sec. Launch app Timesheet. Google (Android 10) broke this app. Gotta check for outgoing calls. If you rely on it for phone calls, do NOT move from Android 9. [New privacy restrictions make it impossible for the app to pop up after a phone call. Now I have to remember to track calls manually which I pretty much stink at. Apart from that, the app is wonderful.] Simple. Intuitive. Reliable. . You're only getting 5 stars because there aren't 6!

The reversion is appreciated, but the problem is the errant version has a different xml export format than this version so while I have timesheet data exported, I can't load it from the errant version export. I have disabled automatic updates because the trust I had in the developer of this app is shattered with the bad update and reversion.

This app is extremely helpful for tracking time spent on tasks. Currently, I use this app to track my homesteading projects. We are in the initial stages of setting up regenerative processes for cattle. If we are to successfully "convert" our fellow cattlemen to this way of raising beef, we must show the time it will take to transition. This app allows me to easily track time, even with dirty hands thanks to the widget! Thank you Timesheet folks for helping us provide sustainable food!!

using since 2017 without any issues but latest update (July 2024 complete revamp) made the app so slow! whenever I switch screens I just get the circle spinning around and around for 15 seconds or more. it still works if you are very patient & have a lot of time to wait around... otherwise it's broken.

I've used this app for 7 years, but this recent update has made it hard to use. It requires multiple sign ins throughout the day and the calendar sometimes won't allow you to select the correct date. I'll talk a break and check back. Hopefully, all the kinks will get worked out.

Update since complete overhaul of app it appears now 100% server-based it is extremely slow constantly freezes Can not use between multiple platforms if you start the task on your phone then want to close it out on a tablet/ web-based only shows whatever last task started on that device. app is very frustrating and give 0 stars @timesheet.io please correct this was a geat app. Currently looking for a better app after 8 yrs of use w/paid version Most useful time tracker app I have found yet

Used this app for 10 years with minimal issues. Can't speak on the 5/30/2024 update because I won't be using it going forward. The update lost all my logs and settings, and there was no warning of an update or that data loss was a risk (it never was before). Now I get to figure out how much I worked last month so I can invoice. Very disappointed.

Used this app successfully for 8+ years, then without warning a new version was installed which wiped out all my logs and data. Critical data was lost! I rely on this for billings and have recommended it to many clients. Check out all the data they want access to on your phone now, to share with third parties. I can no longer trust this app and will have to find a replacement.

4 stars because I've been using it for a while now and it's been awesome! this recent update unfortunately broke my flow - the calendar always selects the previous day, rounding setting were all reset, tags are all out of order, and everytime I try to write in a description for a task, the app force closes. I'm sure these issues will be addressed, as this update was a complete revision of the app. also option to buy app w/o subscription would be nice to support the dev. 5 stars when bugs fixed!
