Buffering. Freezing. Force closes. Hard to watch your cameras when the app glitches every time you open it. 6/14/21: update on 6/8/21 is glitchy. "Channel in use" and "more channels than cameras" errors. 9/8/21: app forced closed in the middle of the night with no reboot or error message. When I'm depending on this app to monitor the safety of others, I cannot risk a glitchy app.

Back to 5 stars. Thanks to developer who responded to my comment, I learned that IP address change was due to "Autoupdate remote IP address" checkbox. No idea how this setting works but it was changing my remote IP address. Unticked that checkbox and all returned to normal. This is the best IP camera app I used. I love the multiview, ability to record locally and to cloud services. Those who complain that they can only view camera's in their wifi does not know how to configure port forwarding in their router.

I relly like this app been using it for a couple years now. The only problem im having with this app is: I set up an other android phone to use the internal camera on it as an ipcam. That part sets up fine. But when i try to connect to that camera it connects but shows nothing. When i run the test it tells me all the frames are being dropped. Very Frustrating. Im using android 9.0 when i used this on Android 6.0.1 i was able to connect using the scan feature. But not on the Android 9.0

Best one out there. I've owned this for at least 6 years. I actually purchased this twice. The developer is actively involved in making this a better app. He is definitely worth supporting. On some doorbell cameras, the screen displays sideways on the app but strait up on the original app (Wyze for me). Wish he would make an option to flip it up so it shows normally.

While this does support lots of cameras, it's "detection" settings are very questionable. I just tested it by walking in front of 2 cameras. It detected nothing while, seconds later, it detected "bugs" flying around. I would call that a %110 fail on the app. Plus, running this app (constantly) would be wearing on my battery. This app needs a PC server app to better "balance" it's functionality. Also, there's no real email support i've seen for this app as a buyer.

Best IP camera viewer app I found. I was looking for something minimalistic that lets me control PTZ and presets, with minimal latency, and this works great for all that. I wish there was a way to simplify the interface further in Settings (for example I don't need the button for "tasker commands" to always be on the screen, and I have a feeling most other people don't either). Would be nice to be able to show presets and PTZ at once too, and to show more presets at once. Maybe expand the GUI customization features in Settings? But great app, still 5 stars.

Hands down one of the best apps for Android and most versatile monitoring solution out there. It runs flawlessly on multiple devices and I have it working with at least 6 different camera brands. Integration with Tasker in order to provide automated solutions is icing on the cake. Worth every penny. People who are complaining about the app not working via VPN or remotely are incorrectly placing blame. The app works great in all those scenarios as long as you configure your network correctly.

I tried the free app with a couple of DLink 5020 cameras on both on and off the local network. The cameras were easy to add with the user interface. Since everything has been working very well I've added several more cameras and purchased the pro version. Thank you for your time and effort in putting this app together. Keep up the great work. -Brian

Nearly perfect app! Haven't come across a camera yet that hasn't worked with it. Yes, even ones not in the apps list will work if you follow the instructions in the FAQ. The only 2 things it is missing in my opinion is a way to export/save your configurations, and a way to import configurations. This would be nice for backing up or moving to another device.

The app only works well with wireless as of the last update. It struggles to stream with lte connection for me. Please fix this, I do not want to have to go searching for another app as they all seem to be poorly reviewed. I found that changing to the sub stream works much better. App is now working for me. When you are looking at the main menu towards the bottom, there is a place to choose MAIN, SUB, or AUTO. I changed this from MAIN to SUB and it fixed my issue with the app.

Goin back to free CamHi! At least it works well and is consistent, just not as many options. But, since this app and most of it's options aren't reliable on S9+/Android10, it's useless for security! When it DOES work it's very slow, with so many dropped frames, and lost cam connections, (won't even give consistent still pics!), that it won't consistently record motion detect video, (which is why I tried it), & when it does, it loop records nothing, (sftwr bug?) even with sensitivity turned down.

Straightforward and simple app. Developer easy to communicate with. Love it! Edit: It's now 2021 and I've been using this app for over 7 years. It has never glitched, my images and video are always consistent and my camera is still the same one I hooked up 7 years ago (Sharx). Although the setup at the beginning was a bit cumbersome and confusing for me as a newbie, 7 years later, I haven't had to adjust a setting, reboot, update software or reinstall anything. Solid app.

Update 7/2022 app is unusable for wyzecam lately. Easily the best camera software! I'll start by saying I've been using this app for years, on multiple devices from phones, tablets and even TV's. It just works and has every feature you could want and then some. Also makes THE BEST baby monitor when combined with an inexpensive wifi camera. Can be set to run in the background and turn the sound on when it hears sounds. If the sounds are concerning then you look at the camera .

Love this app. Until recently when cameras connected to my NVR started dropping the vast majority of the frames to a measly .3 to .7 fps frame rate. I'm on a pixel 7 android 13. The same version of this app works just fine on my newer Samsung Tablet and my old Pixel 3plus phone. They are displaying 15 to 30 fps, all using the same camera profiles uploaded to my Google drive. UPDATE: deleted the app and reinstalled and full performance was restored.

I've tried emailing the developer direct with no luck, Maybe it's just me, but I HAVE NOT been able to record video on motion detection UNLESS I'm literally staring at the app (meaning it's open and running) I've even let the app run in the background (while using the phone regularly) and it does NOT detect, nor record on motion..... all cameras work and are viewable, I can manually record and take photos, but isn't the point of SAFETY for the motion detection to work at all times??!!

Works great on all my devices, easy to setup and use. Have it running on an old phone that doesn't get updates and also on the latest Android OS (v11 as of right now) without any issues. I bought Pro 5+ years ago, and like how the developers keep adding new features and functionality and supporting additional cameras.

I have used this for years and I love the features. The reason I only give it 2 stars is because recently after I press the microphone icon to talk and then press it again to stop talking the video/audio feed freezes and I don't hear any response. The 2 way audio used to work flawlessly. I have 8 cameras and I use this app on 5 different Android devices and they all have this issue now.

I been using this for years. It is fantastic. I have two wyzecams and an old foscam. I can view them all at the same time, choose which one I hear audio with and many other things. I even added this app to my Nvidia Shield and us that as a DVR hub for all my cameras thanks to this app. I have two issues. One is no 2 way audio on the wyzecam but I hear this is being worked on. Next is I wish the UI could be customized a bit more. I wouldn't mind going light instead of the all dark theme. But that is very minor.

For all of those saying, "it used to work fine, but it now only holds a feed for a short time." Try this, and I know its can be a pain if you have a lot of devices...but...simply reboot your router. I've only tried it once, but it's going on 3 weeks with no problems. (If I may... unplug your router, reboot your modem...give it a minute, than reboot your router. And ideally, unhook as much of the Wi-Fi from your devices as you can, then re-connect one at a time.) But a router reboot, at least.

This is a great app for monitoring your cameras. It's a lot faster than Wyzes app and you can see multiple cameras at a time. However, there are a few issues. Widgets are practically useless because when the image comes out, it's very glitched. Also, sometimes the app crashes when one of the cameras load. Please fix and I'll give a higher rating
