Not Functional. You must register to use the app. You enter your phone number, it texts you a four digit code. From there you get to the sign up page where you enter name, email, etc., but when you're done entering, there is no button to advance. I've tried multiple times downloading a fresh app each time. My conclusion is it's either bad design or the developers did not want Android users as customers.

Super easy and clean to use. The only problem I have is on the app my address shows up as ** ******* ****, Morgantown, Kentucky. But if you go to the website, like if the app isn't working that day, it will show my address correctly, but whenever you click on it it will show that address as Morgantown, West Virginia. Or sometimes it doesn't show my address at all. And when I type it in nothing pops up except for things that sound similar to it.

This is apparently a delivery app, but many restaurants use this company for talked loyalty programs, and the app does a poor job with that. The app should really have a section that's a list of all the restaurants you have rewards with. I should then be able to choose a reward discount to use so that the next time I pay with my linked credit card the discount is applied.

Lost me at "you can only add a card during checkout" HUH????? No thanks. Only considered it because the loyalty program I signed up for is through here, but I needed to change the card linked. Can't even do that 🙄 the WORST app. The ui sucks. Can't cancel an order through the app (so if the business doesn't answer you're screwed). Unintuitive. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Marginally better than not having the app. Search function is utterly broken, it's simply autocomplete which doesn't work most of the time. You have to find a restaurant's toast link on a separate website or app to navigate to their page. Want to modify a previous order, nope. Want a consistent way to add tips, nope. Want to be consistently badgered by the app to leave a review? Yep.

It's ok for ordering, but it doesn't tell me my order number (I have to go check my email for that) and doesn't reliably give notifications when my order is ready. At least when I order thru the web app I get a text message. Worst of all is that the app asks if I'm enjoying the app EVERY TIME I open it. If I select yes, it asks me to give a positive review. If I select no, it doesn't ask for feedback. This is a clear attempt to artificially inflate their ratings. No integrity = 1 star rating.

Mobile app is terrible, website experience way better. Every single time I tried to order on the app something went wrong. First it switched my order to pickup even though I was on the delivery tab. Then I got an email with a "loyalty reward" that was impossible to actually use. Whatever you input in the cart, when you tap "check out," it increases your tip! Then the app erased my delivery instructions, & there was seemingly no way to write them back in again. Terrible UI & is impossible to use.

None of your apps work for my phone. Always a problem and support is a lost cause. I have to use this AND sling for work, but NOTHING WORKS. Always an issue. Sling messages section crashes the app. I'm trying to log into Toast, and I can't. It won't even send me a text for a code nor send me an email though I have tried so many times. You would think that they wouldn't have so many issues since so many businesses use them.

More often than not, will Not complete the transaction, saying card information is invalid or declined. I've updated and reinstalled the app, restarted my device, closed & reopened the app & re-entered the order and card info, all to no avail. The card(s) are Not the problem as they work just fine to swipe, tap or chip onsite. Terribly frustrating. I wonder every time whether it will complete my order, and it fails far too often.

This is my favorite restaurant ordering app for pickup. It's so easy and quick to select and place an order. The best part is I can quickly reorder favorites with just two taps, seriously! It provides the estimated time for the order to be ready, and notifies you when it's done. So easy, so smooth. I just wish more of my favorite restaurants were using it, because everything else seems clunky.

When attempting to place my first order, I got an error about "Missing Customer Information". Lack of mitigation instructions aside, I eventually figured out that my name and phone number had not been retrieved properly when I signed into the app (I have an account that I have successfully used in the browser interface before). However, attempting to input that information resulted in the error: "We were unable to access your profile right now". Eventually, I gave up. Seems like a major bug.

Everybody and their mother wants to get into the food delivery business, they just can't do it as well as the other apps. The app defaults to pickup without any sort of confirmation. It's nice that they have the "reorder" function, but if O got delivery last time it should default to pickup. It's also difficult to tell once the order has been placed whether or not the order is delivery or pickup. Irritating having to drive to restaurant when I was planning on staying in.

Underdeveloped. There's no reason that using Toasttab in a browser should be a better experience than the app. At one restaurant, the option to make a sandwich a combo is just missing on the app, but it's there on the website. Plus there's no way to remove stuff from my cart, but once again, no problem on the site. I like Toast as a platform for ordering food but the app serves zero purpose, just use the website.

I wish restaurants would pick a better app. It's difficult to save a credit card: confusing at best, if there is a simple way of doing it I haven't found it. Other apps do it fine, I don't see why they can't. You should be able to go to the main menu, click "payment", and add it there. Easy. But as far as I can find the only way to add a credit card is when you are trying to order something. I had problems removing saved cards in the past but it looks like they resolved that.

I don't think there's an app more frustrating than Toast. It seems to manage a number of loyalty programs for individual restaurants, but many of these restaurants don't show up in the app. Clicking the link in an email from the restaurant pointing to toast doesn't help. It also does not seem to be able to handle phone numbers linked to different email addresses (I had to change my email address and the seems to have confused the app which insists on linking to accounts based on a phone number.

It's a good app but it doesn't know when businesses are out of business. Ordered some food just to find out they were closed. This app sucks. Credit card isn't recognized across the board. Seems like you have to link your credit card at each individual restaurant. Can't even store a credit card on the app. Every single app out there lets you do that. Have lost so many points and rewards because of this. Couldn't redeem rewards today. No points earned on my check either.

It's so hard to navigate once you're in a shop to show a qr code. I fumble my way around it too late when ordering in person so most of the time I skip that part. I click on the restaurant to look for it, and doesn't say anywhere about qr code, instead you have to assume it means points. But who would click it if you have no points at first? The search bar is terrible. Unless you hit the magnifying glass, you click anywhere on top and it gives you the location search.

I don't think I've had a worse experience using a food ordering app. The UX is absolutely HORRIBLE. Can't add loyalty points item to my order, just gives me a "Done" button. The back button at the top, backs you out to the top level menu, not simply back one page. The items are all listed one after, all expanded. ITS HORRIBLE FOR A PIZZA PLACE'S GIANT MENU. Why not let people simply select the size when building the pizza. So SO SO bad.

The app does exactly what it's supposed to do. it's easy to figure out and I've been using it for a while now and I've never experienced a glitch of any type. I would warn that you make a deliberate choice at the beginning between delivery and take out. I believe it defaults to take out and I accidentally ordered takeout once expecting a delivery.

Worst support ever. It's impossible to get anyone to respond. I have sent emails through the website as a prospect restaurant because there is NO contact support option for rewards customers. I have tried using support via the app, and it keeps deleting the thread when I open it back up looking for a response after HOURS. I have no way to access all of my accounts, i dont even know how many I have. I need some combined thst should not have been opened. There is no web access. Terrible.
