Nice app for food snobs, yes not foodies, snobs. I installed because my fave restaurant used for rez and i enjoy exploring when i travel. A lot of these restaurants look like you better get dressed to the nines or have a membership already. Beautiful looking places to eat. I'll make a rez @toutant, and revise accordingly.

Not able to cancel reservations and they will charge me $20 for a no-show or late cancelation. They don't say what "late" is.

It's just a container for the web app. But the difference for me was I can't seem to sign in via Google on the app. Not a great experience

Well we've had it in our new business for 3 days. DISASTER. Customers are frustrated bc it's not working! And somehow reservations are disappearing. Tock keeps "fixing" the issues and STILL DOES NOT WORK!!!

"0" stars. Tried using my $300 gift card to pay for dinner at a restaurant listed and reserved through the Tock app. The restaurant hostess/servers said they knew nothing about Tock and would not accept a gift card payment from them. No customer support line to call in their app. I ended up having to pay the dinner bill with my own credit card. I called another restaurant listed in their app and they said they never heard of Tock and do not take Tock gift cards. Tock is a scam!!!

Making reservations has never been easier! I was able to secure a next day spot at our favorite, yet always incredibly busy restaurant down the street. The app is user friendly and straight forward. Looking forward to booking more for the holidays!

DON'T USE: Resets everything even if you've made selection. So it will default to first available date that you can't reschedule. Very very bad tech stack.

They charge you $70 for a reservation that is supposed to go towards your total billl, however you get charged by the restaurant and no refund to the card that made the reservation. Thenn you email their experience team who then pass you on to the restaurant to chase your money down. Horrible compared to Resy or other competitors. Don't waste your time money.

Can I give this 0 stars? Worst reservation experience I've ever had. Set up an account to book a nice dinner at in demand restaurant while traveling and Tock was a complete failure. Would not accept any credit cards, told me it was their security algorithm and nothing they could do. Unacceptable

I have had this app for ages, and love tock as a platform, but it is literally unusable. Whenever I open the app, it opens on one restaurant, and anytime I try to click away, the screen pulls me back to the restaurant that it opened on.

Tock has horrible interface and no practical implementation of how a restaurant should operate. Orders constantly get lost and it makes for an awful customer experience as well as a terrible experience for the staff trying to run the restaurant. TOCK had the audacity to call and have one of our team members FIRED in the midst of a pandemic hitting the food and beverage industry particularly hard. Not only is the software terrible but the people who work the bank of the site are soulless.

Their interface is garbage and slow, with no filters for delivery that actually is able to go to your home. and they are literally middle men for other delivery services, so if you have issues you need to contact the ACTUAL delivery service. Insane

Every time you switch between apps, like checking where a restaurant is located because this app has no map options, it resets everything you've entered (date, #of guests, filters). So annoying to use - I would rather call the restaurant than use the app.

This is the only online reservation system that will block you from making your own reservation if you're not logged in initially. You can select a time that you want your reservation for, it will then bring you to the login page (if you're not logged in already) and then prevent you from selecting the time that you had just selected because it thinks someone else is booking that time. Really, really poorly made app, as you can tell by all the bad reviews. Please fix this app

App not smart enough to search by zip code, does not allow for dietary restriction communication, nor place for other comments such as reason for cancellation. Does not specify search radius, nor can you adjust this. If you don't know the name of a specific restaurant or the exact town it's in, you may not find your next dining experience.

Installed this app on my Galaxy phone in late December 2024, looking for an easier way to manage my reservations, but was not able to log in with Google account. Nothing happened after choosing my Google account. Restarting or reinstalling the app did not solve the issue :(

The failure of the Tock app is unprecedented. I have used Tock to order pick-up from restaurants on 2 occasions. On both occasions the restaurant failed to prepare the order because their instance of the app did not notify them of a pending pick-up order. Because Tock is also used for reservations most restaurants have that particular tab open on their instance of the app. Pick-up orders are on another tab and there appears to be no proper notification from that tab.

Haven't compared with iPhone version but the app is pretty horrible on Android. You click to explore a restaurant and when you try to go back to what you were browsing, the app thinks you're exiting the app so it closes itself or start from the very top of the list so you have to scroll all the way down again to browse.

Why high-end restaurants continue to use this app is beyond me. Guaranteed to make your customers angry first. All the compliants about this app have been and continue to be valid - there seems to be no improvement. Bookings are available a month at a time, but by the end of the month you can only look a few days ahead - really?? Even a simple search - show me next available reservation isn't possible - you must pick a day. No use of color coding. Might as well call ahead if possible.

App is awful. Any restaurant using this for an online reservation system needs to find something else. The lag time is painful. When I search and the results - finally - come up, I can't return to my previous page. I'm stuck and have to close the up to do another search. Going to tell the one restaurant I go to that uses Tock to move over to something more user friendly.
