I dont know whether its the app or the team.I seem to be getting misleading messages when placing an advert as a seller...Not convenient at all.Inconsistent feedback as compared to emailed support team messages.I hope something is done in regards to reviewing process and it feedback.

I have been using it for years, i bought most of my things from there. But now most of the things they sell, about 50% are scam, especially phones, after negotiation the seller will request for mobile money for transportation and when you send, they will either block your line or off their phone. You can try and see if what am saying is a fact or not, especially phones. I know you will do something about it, but is one of the best and i like Tonaton.

It was great when it started. Now so many restrictions and constantly asking for payments to post so the amount of ads has reduced. Sad I find it difficult to get what I want on Tonaton. Jiji former OLX is doing far better

Well the app has new features which are great but the only problem I think there is , is the favourites/wishlist where items can be added or saved has been removed . Please do well to bring back that feature . Thanks

This app is full of fraudsters, and the annoying thing is the owners or staffs of this site are also the ones shielding them, they charge huge fees to join them to sell without considering the interest of the buyer or seller, I was dubbed on this same platform and all they can say is to sick advice from the police I have every evidence to show, I have been quite for personal reasons, but I don't think this platform has any protection for its clients, please flew from this platform. Thank you

Very difficult to change your phone number when the SIM card is not working again. The number that was blocked by network providers can't be changed, as well as a lost SIM you don't have inside phone. No provision for such situations. Sad!

The new app features are really annoying,when you scrolling downwards,another advert on the side is swiped up by force to replace the main ad you were watching,its like they are forcing you to use a new feature on the app even though it is really irritating

Its overrun with scammers since they can afford to pay.They are only interested in taking cash from their customers. Before you can even post, you have to pay. And there is no guarantee that your adverts will be advertised even after paying. There are many better alternatives out there.

Can you believe that this app doesn't notify you when customers message you. Even when you open the app nothing appears on the messaging icon so you wouldn't know if you have received any messages. Waste of money for add promotion. And I'm assuming it's the same thing when you reply buyers. Have I just wasted my phone's storage on this junk?

This is a fraud. Please i will not recommend this app for anyone if you want to do any online buying. It is full of fraudster. I have tried ordering a product from them several times but everyone happens to be a fraud. It could also be that there some bad guys who have also found themselves in there. But in a nutshell, it is not recommendable. Beware!!!

I can't believe i created an account and tried to post an ad. I was charged for ad promotion and my ad never went live. Happened to me twice, so i deleted this app right away. Tried to contact customer service but they couldn't help me in any way and never got a refund.

Kindly fix the way adverts on your app flip automatically to the next ad. It is really annoying and frustrating. You will be reading the information of an ad and then it automatically flips to another ad. Fix it asap cos it's irritating.

This App has connected me to helpful stores. It has made discoveries very easy for me. However, I urge the users to be careful of fraudstars. There are many genuine sellers here, but also, there are many fake sellers too. As soon as they insist you pay before delivery, forget them. Keep your money in the ATM or Mobile Money wallet and buy your product at a place nearer to the bank or the Mobile Money venture. Don't withdraw money along to use to pay!

I'm beginning to believe Tonaton itself is a whole scam on its own. How can you pay for an ad and you never see the ad go live. You later call help line and they ask you to go to their office to verify your account. Why should payment even go through if you think my account hasn't been verified. We are in the 21st century, do you still need to go to an office before an online platform account could be verified? JOKERS!!!

Anytime i search for a particular item only a few listings show eg. Hyundai Elantra and only 8 ads show meanwhile there are more than 8 ads. I think the tonaton app is no longer user friendly even after updating it. You guys should improve your app

My first time dealing with them and I got scammed. They are fake and scammers. Beware of this scam app. I posted an app, they sent me a text that someone just purchased my item and made payment already so they needed to come pick the item and deliver to the buy. . But for them to make sure am not a scammer I have to make some payments before they can come to my place. That they will refund that money when they come to pick the item up. Afta making the payment, now am not able to reach thm anymr

The updated version is basically useless. The "favorite" option was very helpful but they took it off. I don't see any reason to keep using this app coz it's too difficult finding an item you were previously interested in...

Am Ben K Furniture Makers. Please my ads are not showing on categories and my ads view and lead are not stable sometimes it comes sometimes no and sometimes it shows a setting number as soon as you scroll just a moment the number reduces I don't get it. Furthermore since I took part is hard to get clients no call nor messages. So please if there is something to do and improve my shop please do. Thank u. One thing again, when the ads is old at the shop we change the price but u refuse publish.

The favourite option was very helpful but is now no longer available. We could see all ads from vendors but that is also no longer available. You can't even find specific vendors by searching their names as you may have decided to purchase something later on , and to find that specific ad again is basically impossible. Bring back the favourite option, see all ads from vendors and allow us to be able to find registered vendors by searching their names on the app

I think tonaton needs to upgrade it's system to a technical and more secured and modern way. You can't even renew your ads manually or automatically you have to start a whole process again always before reposting and thats a waste of time,you can't even see if any one has viewed your ads or contact, talking of scammers is an issue, you can't get a feedback from clients too.you guys should fix all of this problems tonaton is at the urge of collapsing jiji has now taken over now.
