TopCashback's payment takes a very long time to transition from "pending" status to "payable" status when compared to other cashback apps like RetailMeNot and Rakuten. It literally took 4 months. I'm not impressed.

This app doesn't even work anymore. I've had to use the website which is fine but many of my trips have not been tracking, particularly with Lego. I've had the same problem with Lego numerous times and with other cash back sites so I'm not really sure where the disconnect is. But recently, I've had to make a claim for every trip. It's incredibly annoying.

DO NOT USE THIS APP. USE RAKUTEN INSTEAD. I have missed out on a lot of cash back. I filed claims and they make excuses, like, we don't see it, the merchant didn't pay, it didn't track at all etc. I tried using this app, but Ebates/Rakuten is 100% better. They track your purchases without any issues, and if you have missing cash back their customer service is sooo good to make sure it's applied to your account! Another thing to note they take forever to pay you the cashback, months!!!!

I like the overall idea and have continued to use it but there are always constant issues with certain purchases not be tracked. I'm disabled and it's hard for me to do extra things. Every time something is not tracked I have to go back and enter everything manually. It takes away the little time I have during the day, when I should be doing other things more important.

The app tracks online purchases. I always login before making a purchase to make things easier for tracking cashback. Never have any issues with the payout. There are a lot of participating retailers. It is clearly marked how long cashback will be payable when logged in, which can be weeks. Be patient. Customer service is very responsive. The only minor thing is not being able to get cashback for in-store purchases. I have seen that option with other cashback apps. Would like to give it a 4.5.

This app is either a scam or just terrible. They do not honor what they advertise. I've had $6 pending for nearly 3 months. Support is unhelpful and says wait. Wait for what? They have the order number and promo offer. Honor it. Competing apps provide credit instantly. This app is junk Oh and before support responds by saying to follow the recommendation for use. I have followed it, top cash does not uphold their end.

As other reviewers have said the pending process takes a long time. I have a transaction that will take 7 weeks til I can cash out. The whole point of saving money is to save immediately to help combat prices of other essentials. I love that you can save so much money but I'm not about to wait 2 months for the payout. I will use other apps to save money and be able to cash out alot faster.

Their tracking of shipping trips is poor. I get paid less than half the time I'm supposed to. I recommend using a different app. And to reply to Dominique, yep, read all that and I do those things. Perhaps I don't clear cache EVERY time, but I do it often enough. I have an S21 phone so it's not a poor phone that's the problem. And the time or two I opened a ticket with proof I was in the topcashback app, topcashback didn't fix it. So I stand by my 2 stars. Never had any problems with other app

I was having issues for quite awhile, no stores loading in the app. So I'd have to go to the web browser and use it from there. Even as of a few minutes ago. I went into settings and cleared the cache, but still no change. I deleted and reinstalled, and it's all working again. I did have to log back in, but everything is going good so far, I wish I did this over a month ago. 👍🏼

I actually really love using TCB. It's a great way to get cashback on items that you were going to buy anyway. One reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it does take forever for transactions to become payable. Most transactions don't become payable until 1.5 months to 4.5 months later, but money is coming back vs. not. Pretty much all of my transactions are tracked within 24 hours. If not, a claim was filed & was added within a week. I also wish they had in-store cashback options... Great App!

This is _almost_ a great app. You can earn lots of money back on purchases, but it's very finicky. You need to log in to topcashback, then go directly to the site then check out immediately. If you do anything in between, it logs you out and you don't get credit. I've had success about half the times I've used it. It's frustrating when you make a large purchase (airline tickets, for instance) and it logs you out before you check out and you find out after the fact that it didn't give you credit.

Most of the time this app on the phone or on your computer does not track your purchases. It was tracking them in the beginning. Then it just stopped. And I made sure all ad blockers are off etc. And that goes for the app or if you go thru their website...doesnt seem to matter :( I still have items from 2019 that arent payable also. Way more hassle then what its worth. They tempt you with good cashback, but good luck claiming it!

Unimpressed so far. This app has one of the best % back, and the worst transaction history. Everything is pending forever, including the sign-up bonus, which should NOT be pending after my first "completed" transaction. Customer service says it was fixed, but it is not, and I'm wondering if I will get paid for ANY of these or if I'm just wasting my time on tbis app, when I could be using Rakuten, Coupon Cabin, or Retail Me Not, which have so far been a bazllion times better and more responsive.

I have had nothing but great experiences (mostly) with top cash back. I have had over $1k in cash back paid out to me with no problem. I've run into a couple issues of cash back not credited or merchants denying legitimate earnings, or merchants taking FOREVER to pay. but for the most part, it's been easy, smooth, and super rewarding. I use it for hotel stays mostly and the cash back racks up pretty quickly. again, I have had over $1k paid out so not a scam IMHO. 🤷‍♀️

Best cashback so far, but needs to be app friendly for gift card purchasing for quicker processing. Too many buttons and screens and fields to go through and fill out when doing on the spot purchasing of the gift cards. It's great for pre-purchasing gift cards ahead of time and adding them to your merchant apps though. Cash does take awhile from online purchases to become payable and it is hard to tell if it's been tracked sometimes. Overall, I'll be sticking with it to see if it improves.

Never tracks purchases, and when it does, takes over 3 months. Made 4 seperate purchases on the same date and only 1 tracked. They make you jump through hoops to submit a claim. So much easier to use Ibotta- they pay almost instantly - and Rakuten - takes a bit longer, but both have great customer service. Topcashback may offer higher cash back %, but what good does that do if they don't actually pay it to you? So disheartening. I feel like they just keep it for themselves. Never again!!

Don't be fooled. This app is fraudulent. They intice you by offering a higher percentage cash back than other apps out there but you never actually get any of it. They get out of it by having a disclaimer on the pending payout screen that states that the retailer has to release the funds. They have no control over when/if they do. I have almost $20 total from 4 different retailers that has been "pending" for over a year. No issues with receiving cash back on other apps for the same retailers.
