Used to be good and was able to lock physical buttons on a tablet but since the update it takes you to the screen but there is no option to do it, so the baby keeps knocking off all the time gonna have to find a new app. Annoyingly I paid the premium version without the adds as it was well worth ir before the horrible update.

Edit 2: ...also the issue is not with ads existing but that some ads are literal scam click baits. It makes me concerned that the developer would let such ads show. Edit: this app was great in the past but new updates give you not just ads which are static pictures, but videos with automatically enabled sound! What's more a lot of the ads link to very dodgy looking things which is very easy to accidently follow through to. I decided to sadly uninstall the app and stop using it. Such a shame

Limits you to 5 minutes intervals. If I'm paying for it, I'm better off paying for youtube itself. I used the app 1 hour each morning. For premium, it prompts you to sign a google contracts with terms of "no refunds" without mentioning what it actually costs to upgrade. 2 stars instead of one, because at least it's not malware like others.

I didn't go on to buy the ad free version because the trial (with ads) was so frustrating I couldn't bear to pay (however cheap). May review again in the future in case the trial version changes so one can see if the app does what you want without being continually interrupted. Oh and it kept unlocking randomly in my pocket and then showed me dumb ads for a while then told me how long I'd been using it.

1. The icon shouldn't be visible. 2. In YouTube kids mode, when the screen is reeuced, enable to enlarge as it gets locked and once unlocked, the icon goes away which require revisiting the notification so starts all the way again in manual mode. 3. Pattern does not go off if my child double press the icon of unlocking. 4. Could best serve the purpose it touch locked from notification and the child is unable to find or a small icon in a corner. 5. Too many ads.

New review - Ads were put in place on a Massive scale. I reviewed stating it was too much and response was "buy premium". The ads are now tones back massively (indicating I wasn't the issue but they overdid the ad rollout). Now free version will auto stop at some point. It states you have run out of unlimited unlocks foe the day. I had used no unlimited unlocks, just one lock, for 20 or so mins. I won't be paying for the app, you change your features drastically and the way you monetise also

Only locked the screen and not the back and recents. when I went to lock the physical buttons I had to go into the accessibility settings on my phone and give permission. They wanted permission to access every keystroke I put in my phone, which can include my credit card numbers, personal information, etc. I don't feel comfortable with that. Uninstalling the app.

Does not work with YouTube. Video quits playing when the screen goes dark. Edit: YouTube does not start playing again when screen is back on, I have to manually click the lock 2x and use my unlock pattern then click play. YouTube is the only app running so there is plenty of ram. You shouldn't advertise that it works on YouTube if it's flawed in this way. Edit: updated youtube still does not work. Works fine to lock screen while its on but not when it goes black.

In short doesn't work. First time using it I was listening to a YouTube video in my pocket. Somehow, despite my screen being 'locked', my pocket was able to open messagenger and send the video to 20 people. On top of that, now I can even get it to work. Instead it just keeps minimizing YouTube and stops the video. And when I try to troubleshoot it keeps playing an ad.

Loved this app worked perfectly and still does but the ads are outages they used to be simple and quick to load ads but not it takes like 30 or seconds to get back to what I was doing after unlocking it. It used to be only maybe 4 or 5 seconds but now there is this loading screen after an unlock. Please fix them ill fix my review.

Perfect! Exactly what I wanted - to be able to simultaneously listen to YouTube in a pop out video window while completing my visual timer to do list using the Brili app which only works with screen on (which drains battery 🙄) BUT when I put phone in my pocket, THIS app lets me do all that plus turns my screen off yet allowing all of that to work in the background. Thank you!

This is an excellent application and worth every penny, costing less than a luke warm cup of coffee for the fully featured app. For me, it paid for itself on first use. Besides Youtube, I use it to listen to news shows and Udemy classes while doing chores, shopping, working out, etc., If you want to multitask and listen to videos while doing other things, this is the app for you. The shake lock is super convenient, and the pocket feature, which automatically turns off the screen to save battery, while still playing the audio, is awesome. Pull the phone from your pocket and voila the display lights up. It sounds like there was a bug with a PREVIOUS update, but it appears the issue was totally resolved.

This app is really great - I'm definitely glad I found it. No issues so far and I love the auto feature. I feel bad for the developer getting all sorts of bad reviews for: 1. Ads - developers have expenses/need to be compensated for their time just like you do when you work. These ads are not very intrusive at all, and removing them is only $3. 2. Functionality - If you are on some older device that the manufacturer doesn't provide updates for, I wouldn't be surprised if you have issues.

Works well most of the time yet still allows touches intermittently. I use it with ride-sharing so riders have something to watch during the ride. I check it regularly and some days it works perfectly and others I check and the screen is on something else and the lock is not working. I have to restart the whole tablet and start over to get it to work again.

The app worked better when it was free. Once I paid for it, it would no longer allow the videos to play when active. It literally freezes the screen even during video playback. That was my reasoning for wanting the app. DO NOT BUY, CONTINUE TO USE THE FREE SERVICE. 8/8 update- Developer, thank you for reaching out to resolve the issue. However, I uninstalled it due to frustration during a road trip with a 1 year old. Best,

App worked great before, now it stops YouTube and goes to the home screen. If I can watch a video with PIP it locks, but once I unlock it turns the screen off. Very annoying. Perhaps it's my pixel 6 update or the app update, but I'll fix the review of this issue gets fixed. Good app otherwise. Edit: Seems to be an update with YouTube and app pinning that makes this issue. Either way a fix would be appreciated. I bought the pro version before this stuff and it was very good.

It's not bad but when I put Netflix on and pull the notification thing down so I can lock it, it pauses the show then locks it. I have to unlock the screen using the pin then try it again. Also unless I just didn't see it, give the option to keep the screen in landscape while locked so when on YouTube it won't change out of full screen. If you can fix those I would be willing to try the app again. Thank you for getting back to me. I will give you an extra star from good "customer service"
