This new update has made the UI very unattractive. Some of the font choices are black on very dark grey, making it very hard to read. It also has no history of my payments or the accounts I had saved. On a not so important feature the app used to have and doesn't now, my vehicle model was pictured at the top and now it's just a default grey car. I'm not sure the reason Toyota has changed so much of their app, but I'm hoping they update it again soon with some major improvements.

I haven't been able to log on for 3 days. Today I tried to log in but I just get a message in the app saying "looks like there's an error on our end" followed by a verification text message for log in that I have zero use for since I'm stuck on the log in screen. Looking at all these negative reviews, its baffling that it hasn't been fixed. I along with countless others would just like to pay our bill. This should be the easiest and stress free part. Its unacceptable. Fix it.

Do not like the new setup for the app. My payment drew out on the 18th instead of the 1st. Then when I tried to set up reoccurring payment it double charged me. Now it shows I have two payments coming out tomorrow. Please update app so it does not auto populate dates so they have to be entered everytime you post a payment. The date kept resetting. The old version was simple and easy to use. Also, transaction history is gone. Very unhappy.

fingerprint doesn't work, have to read and accept everything each time app opens, really seems just like more trouble then it's worth. looking at reviews it seems everyone been saying the same thing for a long time, and none of the simple problems have been addressed. this leads me to believe that even if the issues are fixed, it's gonna be forever all over again to fix whatever the next app breaking problem is that comes up.

It allowed me to make my car payments and schedule them ahead of time, which is what I primarily wanted. The 'remember this device' feature doesn't work unfortunately, requiring verification every time. Additionally, I wish there was a feature to let you know that a scheduled payment was an overpayment. I accidentally over payed about $200, I was reimbursed but it would have been nice to avoid the hassle all together. Done with app, did what I needed to. Just a heads up for future users.

This app was a great, easy way to make my car payment, until the update where it now requires a 2-step verification EVERY TIME I log in. I have to use the split screen function on my phone to have my email open simultaneously as My TFS because to switch apps outright sends you straight back to login on My TFS, thereby requiring a new login attempt as well as a new attempt to retrieve the blasted verification code. This is terribly inconvenient, cumbersome, and unnecessary. I refuse to use the finger print login. I shouldn't need to repeatedly go through this process just to pay for my car. Even when I check the box on the next screen to save/remember this device, it Does Not.

This update is aweful. The dark mode makes it's terribly hard to navigate as the back arrow and "x" to close are hidden by black on grey colors. Not to mention somehow my payment information was wrong leading me to pay from the wrong account. Information that I never added to the app when I downloaded it. Also I can no longer find previous payments. Like the old version just fine

It's a good concept, but unfortunately doesnt work well. The app doesn't remember my login info. Fingerprint recognition doesnt work. I have to have a code sent every single time I try to log in and reenter my security question info. Then the 2 or 3 emails I get telling me I updated my info. Extremely frustrating. Does seem to take your payments ok, but the login each time is ridiculous. Will keep the app for a few more payments to see if it improves. Otherwise it's just wasting space in my phone

Just downloaded the new app and it's definitely not an upgrade. It's less user friendly and confusing for me. I had so many "error on the backend" messages pop-up. I've tried a few times to remove an old bank account and once refreshed, it still there. I cannot view recurring payments because the app has been super glitchy. Wish they didn't update as it worked perfectly before.

This app used to be great. But now it crashes most times when I need to open it up and takes weeks for it to allow entry. On top of that, whenever I am able to get inn to make a payment. It crashes and don't let me make one. Or if I am able to make a payment. It has some kind of error through the processing process and doesn't process the charge and then I'm penalized with a late fee and other charges.. it just had a recent update 4 days ago (3/13/23). And still no resolve.

Used to be amazing. Ever since they rolled out this "newly updated" version, it has just been awful. I always make sure to split my payments up between the month, but when I got on today to pay the second half of my charge, it said that the previously scheduled one (at the beginning of July...) still hadn't gone through yet! All on top of the fact that you can't even get into the app 75% of the time. Feel bad for those being penalized for a missed charge due to the incompetence of this app..

The app is convenient to pay and monitor your balance, but it lacks effective programming. It now requires you to verify with a 6-digit code, which it consistently fails to text you. I have to select the option to have the code emailed after the fact, and sometimes it doesn't allow even that. It will not remember the device. I've repeatedly set up fingerprint verification and it never goes through, but always asks me if I'd like to set up fingerprint verification. Good idea, poor execution.

This app upgrade isn't a upgrade at all, I haven't been able to login sense the change. It just gives me a error message and that it's on your guys end. I can login just fine on the website, but even that is broken. Non of my bank information was saved and when u pay online it takes you to an older site page. Like I'm sorry, but as a IT person it is not hard to get this to be perfect. I personally liked the old app, it was more user friendly and actually worked when you wanted to login.

Absolutely worse app I've ever used. Never remembers log in information. Continually have to update security question everytime I open the app and the fingerprint log in is not functionally. Once you're in the app, it's not even fit to the display. The text is too big and doesn't even align with the icons. I've used this app for a few years. Every month it gets worse and worse. I guess Toyota doesn't want to provide their customers with and easy and convient way to give them money.

terrible update. liked the old version much better. often doesn't let me log in because "there is an error on our side. try again later". You no longer get to see how much has gone to interest or principle this year. cannot find the principle reduction payment option anymore. it used to compare ytd and last years principle and interest payments. much harder to navigate as everything is hidden on tabs on the dashboard.

Finally this app looks better as it doesn't have that weird formatting issue, but is still horrible. Took forever to try to log in the first time. States my account was locked. Still can't use biometrics as it says there's an error on their end. Making payments kept saying unable to process, but saw that it was in recent transactions. Just use the website if you want accurate information.

I agree with everyone else. This latest update makes the app useless. I cannot see my payment history (it says no transactions available). If that were true, I likely would not still have my truck. The payment countdown has not changed as a result. Change it back or fix the current update please. I forgot to mention that it keeps asking me to add a vehicle to my profile I no longer own. Very irritating!

This new revamp is very bad. almost no features like the previous version and very hard to figure anything out, the old version was perfect and I could access something things about my car on it. Now all there is is allowing you to make payments, view previous payments (which you can only view the payments made on this new update), and THATS IT. Overall terrible decision

Previous version was better...by far. This update isn't as intuitive. The GUI doesn't work with android native Dark Mode either...just doesn't look right. Toyota, if you want to make all of these negative reviews go away, literally you could just roll back to the previous version. Other idea, perhaps integrate the FS part into the main Toyota app (just a thought).

Too many glitches in the app. I try to set preferences and it says OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG CAN'T UPDATE. It also doesn't have the same options or information as the site from the email link which should be the exact same thing. I cannot add a phone number or make any changes to payment options and linked accounts. Horrible set up and not user friendly.
