Easy to use and saved tons of money. Only issue is I had to buy the return journey seperate as when I put them together it doubled the price of each journey

This is so speedy and efficient. Amazing amount of choice of routes and a fair price Thank you

Good app. However, the option to search 'Via' a particular station is missing. The option is available on the Trainsplit website, however not on the app. Also many other ticket split apps have the 'Via' search option.

If you're time rich on a low budget, I can see why getting a bargain by travelling at anti social times on multiple tickets, on a slow route would be a boon. If you have more concerns and responsibilities, this is another unnecessary burden; more pointless busy work as an alternative to running a functioning rail service. Having to research and play the market in every small decision in your life goes a long way to explaining the UK's productivity crisis.

Great for saving money but poor user experience. It feels clunky, ideally I would have the QR code ticket produced automatically, especially as you purchase through an app, if the tickets are printed off the e-ticket disappears and is voided on the system.

When the app finds tickets, a 3 letter code is used for the station. So you can't see the station if you need to change. To see the name of the station, you have to select an inward and outward journey then press proceed and then press a details button. Could be good if they fix this.

I've been using trainsplit for the past few months. I've saved a lot of money so I'm going in the train more than ever. So easy to pay too.

Used it lots in past year - it's the only way I buy my tickets now. I wouldn't be able to make so many journeys without it. It's a good reliable app and I save lots. Also has availability for 'sold out' tickets shown on Trainline 🙂 Update - I was lured away by Trainline and it's splitting tickets but Train Split offers cheaper options..

Has taken me 5 days to complete my booking and having to pay £17 more than I was originally quoted. Even though I sent numerous emails and screenshots, it has taken till now to get it sorted. My trip is very important and as I'm limited in how I can travel I've had to agree ti the new price. I just don't understand why I was originally offered the tickets at the lower price but not now. Maybe someone can enlighten me.

Love TrainSplit! Clear and easy to use and navigate, great instructions on your journey once purchased and lots of money saved too.

Much better than trainline or the rail companies' own apps for finding savings. Midweek dates do seem to offer the best savings judging by my initial browsing and buying. This is now my go-to app for train travel.

It's a good app, works fairly easily and the cost savings are great. The only thing missing for me is the ability to filter out slow journeys (either a slow journeys filter, or a journey duration filter), as while these can be useful to see, they can add a lot of noise and make it harder to select a journey.

EDITED REVIEW: I previously posted a complaint that e-tickets and journeys were not loading. I have now realised that this was caused by my adblocking software and should now be resolved at my end. It is not a bug with the app. My apologies to Raileasy - and my thanks for their very quick response, which is impessive.

Useful alternative to Trainline, usually finds similar deals but I prefer their commission model of taking a % of the saving opposed to a fixed fee. Results in this app usually being marginally cheaper. I frequently use trains and keep both apps installed. gg to the dev team

UX is bit lacking in some situations but by far the best amongst the trainsplit services. I understand it takes time and resources to maintain such app therefore pace your self, and do not abandon it. Keep up, listen to your customers, and keep doing great work! 👍

Haven't used the train on a regular basis for many, many years. Past 2 weeks or so, I've had to make lots of train journeys - I was very apprehensive about difficulty and prices etc, however this App has made the whole process very easy indeed. Thank you to my old friend for recommending this App.

Before I bought tickets I had a query and customer services came back promptly. Booking tickets was quick and easy. It came up with a better fare esp for the train we really wanted to get back from Paddington to Cornwall after medical appointment. Lot cheaper than trainline even using their split ticket option. No e-ticket option only paper but picked up tickets 1 hr after booking. App is a bit odd as journey details only give outbound details. Adding railcard into user account is impossible.

Having successfully booked tickets for a journey tomorrow and saved some money 😊 I received a notification today saying that one of my connections would not stop at the station where I was routed to join it. I tapped on the notification to learn more - and was just taken to the Buy Tickets page. When I went to My Journeys there was no mention of the problem 🤷♂️ But I've just had a very prompt and helpful reply from a Developer. Many thanks 👍

The idea is good but the implementation is clunky in places. Can offer absurd itineraries for tiny savings which it's easy to click on by accident. Needs some kind of "common sense check" built into the algorithms that compares time spent versus money saved. A quick buy function would be useful for repeat purchases to save going through the journey planner each time. (Original review amended as customer service issue resolved promptly)

Perfect for saving money, no booking fees whatsoever either. Like someone said, they can offer absurd itineraries but they don't force you to select them. You're given a plethora of journeys to choose from, TrainSplit just highlights the cheapest one. The prices of my journeys to and from London have now been slashed by more than half and I couldn't be more grateful, wish I found this app earlier.
