I gave it a 5 star just for widget. because I like the phone info on it. Just don't buy the premium version Since I paid subscription. It never stays that way. It changes back to free versions. NO, I do not change Google accounts. The PHONE never turned off. I have to uninstall the app and reinstall. But now it only stays premium for about 2 days. Then goes back to free version. I'm tired of uninstalling it. NOW, the widget is flashing white to my color setup..

Frequent server issues prevent regular weather updates. I really keep this app for the widget on my homepage. However, the frequent server issues require a backup weather app for accurate weather conditions. If the server issues are not resolved, I'll be uninstalling this app. Update: Unfortunately this app has become increasingly more unreliable. Right now it is (for the 3rd time in less than 2 weeks) reporting the temp at 1° for an indefinite period of time. Time to find a more reliable app.

Finally uninstalled. Developer accusing ME for the app's problems. App only shows temp and precipitation amounts. Precip% and Humidity are there but always zero. Spending more time closing ads than using the app, especially since some can't be closed. Edit: I was told that there was nothing wrong with the app so any problems must have been me or my device. Anyway, you have hands-down, the single best widget by a long shot. But since it can't show weather data, it's useless.

I've used this widget for quite a few years and it has always worked pretty well for me. Lately I've gotten annoyed every time I open it to check the forecast I'm hassled by an ad or to upgrade to premium. I don't mind throwing a few bucks one time, but a recurring subscription for a basic widget and an app that just polls weather data? No, thanks. I'm uninstalling and will just use the built in android weather forecast.

No matter how many other weather apps I download, the one I always come back to is this one!! It is (hands-down) the best weather & clock widget app for your smartphone. Take it from a guy who's downloaded over 80 different weather apps just to uninstall all the others and use my original. (TRY IT OUT) Hope it works as well for you as it has for me for so many years now

Great weather app. U can change the colors on the widget which I really appreciate, u can change weather source providers, widget size and style. Fully customizable. Edit.. I have had this app for 2 years or so now, and have not had 1 problem with it. I use the free version. I like the fact that they can make revenue from advertising and not have to relly on selling the software. The ads don't bother me. Its just one when u first open the full sized app. No random popups ever.

The update removed the shadow around the numbers and now they're hard to see. The default color blends into my wallpaper. When I changed the color it solved the problem during the day, but now it blends into my wallpaper at night. Please bring back the shadow. I shouldn't have to change the settings twice a day to see the time. Update: The shadow is back! Thank you. This used to be, and is now again my favorite clock/weather app.

I've used this for two years now. For me it's all about the visual, accurate temp and consistency. It has beautiful colors. I use alarms several times a day. I can see and set them easily as well as see anything on my calendar for the week, weather warnings, clock is bold and easy to read. You can see weather for the entire week. You can also back up and save your settings in case you need them in the future. I've made use of that many times. I love it!

I no longer trust this app because the temperature it gives for my city is always 5 to 8° below the National Weather Service reading. There's no way it can be correct. I live in El Paso, Texas, where it gets very hot, so a few degrees can be important. The app also has way too many ads. I'll be looking for something better.

Time to change opinions. From 5* fown to 3*. This app's greatness got to its developers' head: now every time you open it "getpermium" and ads pasted all over you screen. Annoying. Time to look for something else... Reply to the merchant's Reply: For 7 years ads were tolerable, and it was enough for you. Not anymore?.. My 5-star review from 1/10/29: Very functional. Great-looking widget for the desktop, highly customizable. Love it, have been using it for a couple of years now.

I've used this app for a long time on two Android devices and I have no complaints. Lots of options in settings, widgets with options, and although I did have an issue with the app on my tablet a while back, communicating to customer service thru email was very helpful. They responded quickly to my emails, and I highly recommend the Transparent Clock and Weather app..!!

I'm getting annoyed with how inaccurate this app is. I pay $12.99/year & it tells me it's raining when it's definitely not raining. App is flashing lighting right now saying there are thunderstorms on the very short street I live on & looking outside, there's not a drop of rain. Also, ignore the kayak & fishing outlooks. Their reply saying it's it's not automatically updating is bs. That's false. It is automatically updating. And it's saying it's raining AGAIN & it's 100% NOT RAINING. TRASH APP!

I like this app and they layout, but would like if it had better options for the 5x2 widgets (similar to the different sections in the app). I have a SmartWidget that toggles from one widget to another and would like if I could flip through the sections on my home screen without opening the app for quick view.

It was great even with the pop up ads when you opened the app. I don't care to pay to know the weather around me so I never bothered with the premium version. After the most recent update I now get a message saying I've used my free trial period and have to upgrade to continue to use the app.

Was fine but lately ads have become incredibly obtrusive so that sometimes you cannot exit the ad unless you click on it or close the app. Today I was not allowed to close the app or do anything in my phone without either clicking on the ad to subscribe to premium or restarting the phone. I'll find another app, thanks

The only thing I do not like about this app is that there is a big commercial poster that shows up and then there at the tippy top of my phone it says transparent clock and weather app but it's so small it's hard to press the button to connect to the app. However once you get the button pushed this app is terrific gives you all the information that you need and even some you don't need LOL.

Been using this app a couple of years now. It's been great until this year. App still functions fine, but the nag screen to "go pro" cannot be closed and requires I reboot my phone to get rid of it. This app makes money off of ads, I accept that, but the nag screen has me looking for a replacement app today, which is why I'm here reviewing it.

Decided not to renew subscription. The weather is too inaccurate. For example today it says the high will be 84° in actuality the high going to be 96.° App says that it will be sunny when it rains, and vice versa. I do like the graphics, and it's easy to switch cities when traveling, hence 2 stars.

APP IS RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND! IT STILL DOESN'T UPDATE AUTOMATICALLY! I HAVE TO OPEN IT TO UPDATE! UNINSTALLING! 👎👎 APP stopped updating on the widget on my home screen! Widget was saying that it was 32 degrees outside when it was actually in the 80s! something is not right with this app! It was working up until a few days ago! Very unfortunate.

It’s a decent app, but not worth the subscription because every time I try to save the wallpaper for my lock and home screen it ends up reverting back to the devices original wallpaper after a while so that’s not worth it to me plus certain times it tells me the wrong weather. By the way what's the difference between this app and the one I see that has the up front coat?
