I really like the mission. However, they have been pumping in many new unwanted features, including a monthly subscription (gross!), but they should focus on making the app run well. It's worked terribly for months, especially the tree valley function. In fact, I think it has been getting worse and more unstable. They also have increased the amount of steps it takes to plant a real tree from 10,000 to 48,000. Overall, the app is going downhill, which is a real shame. Please do better, devs.

Within the first hour of setting up an account I somehow "redeemed" my points for a reward that I couldn't even use (I don't live in an area of the country covered by the reward). I think part of the issue is the app design. It makes it waaayy too easy to click on "buttons" you don't intend to, even when attempting to exit the app. I reached out to Treecard for assistance but have not heard anything from them yet. Edit: Treecard followed up and adjusted my account so I'm modifying my rating.

I think this is a really cool debit card beyond the tree planting aspect. The points rewards are appealing and I've consistently received them on time. I also like the 'Pots' feature where you can put money to accrue extra interest to plant more trees or to keep. Importantly you can remove money from it without a penalty. I guess it's like their version of a savings account. The forest building game is too laggy on my low-end phone to use but it's not a necessary part of the experience imo

I love this app! I love being able to help the planet by doing something as simple as walking. I wish that if you decide not to claim a reward that you'd get your points back. For example I claimed the $100 bamboo plant reward but I wouldn't see how much the total cost was util I spend my points and I ended deciding on not to getting it, so I ended up losing 100 points (that I could have used for taking plastic out of the water)

The app is not bad, but it needs work for sure. My main issue is that it's incredibly confusing to figure out any information on how gifting and receiving gifts works. You get the gifts- it does not have issues there. It's just not super clear how the process of it works. They do warn you that it can take 30+ days at times to receive your prizes/gifts if a physical item, no issue with that at all since they're free, and they're quite clear it's not coming fast. The friend system kind of sucks-

I used to really like this app because I could plant trees by walking and view my progress. However, the app has become very glitchy in the last 2-3 weeks: erasing progress I made the day before, having an endless loading screen to access the tree valley, and only allowing me to go to the tree valley when I had earned a tree (previously I was able to see it at any time). I've tried everything I can think of to fix these on my end, but they persist. I hope your team is able to fix the glitches.

Love being able to plant 3 trees a week. It motivates me to hit my step goals, too. I like the tree valley as a visual, and I enjoy being able to use my points to remove plastic from the ocean. I also really like the impact reports showing the entire apps progress for a better future. I wish I could plant more. I don't agree with them promoting vegan dog food in the rewards section either. I also find the app is a little cluttered design wise, but everything's easy to find.

I use Treecard to track my steps (I don't use the banking function) and it works pretty well. I feel like it actually tracks my steps a accurately, and if recommend it to anyone who wants to help the environment in an idle way. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because for whatever reason my Tree Valley isn't loading fully- it's all black, like the texture isn't working, even though my connection is good. I can still use it but I can't see any of it, which is frustrating.

Honestly, what they do for the planet is amazing. The more you walk, the more trees you plant! You don't even have to change anything you do; just walk and earn points! Not to mention, you can use the points towards buying eco-friendly products or EVEN BETTER; You can use ur points to clean the plastic from the oceans!! Plus, you can make ur own digital forest that you create on the app and can choose the digital trees 🌳 😀. If you want to make a difference, this is a good start. Save the earth!

Most of app works now. Cannot "adopt an animal", clicking the link does nothing. It would be a lot more streamline if we could cash in more than one plastic removal, animal adoption, etc. after doing any of the aforementioned things, it goes back to home screen. Have to keep doing it over and over. Thanks

It's a good app with a good cause but the rewards missing alot to be desired. They could be much better, like why would I give 25 points for a $10 of a plant that is way overpriced to begin with. For example, they want $43 for a money tree when I can go to the local lowes and pay only $25. Plus, they don't offer higher amount vouchers. Not to mention the fact that you don't even know how much the plant you're using your points on for a voucher till you go to clam it

The stars in tree valley make it too hard to see and, I wish there was a way to have a top notification panel that counted your steps so i can easily see my steps at the top of my phone. The app has gotten a bit better and, the green tech helps since i need a new phone ,which with the cheaper price make it more affordable with the voucher you can buy with points. Also, the edit feature in the tree valley is very clunky and hard to use with the input being very delayed even wigh good connection.

I love the idea of this app, and the message that it gives. I feel so good knowing that I am helping plant trees without giving up real money because I can't, and I always donate to remove plastic from the ocean. But this app is SOOOO SLOW. It almost never works, and genuinely can take up to ten minutes for the tree valley to load. It just keeps getting slower ever since I first got the app, it started off okay, but just continues to lag more and more.

Pro: the concept is good. Cons: 1) The app does not connect to fitness trackers (I have a fitbit) without a 3rd party app that you have to pay for. 2) The steps that the app "tracks" does not track accurately. I can be on a 12 hour shift, constantly on my feet with my phone in hand, and it will say I only walked 2000 steps. 3) The points system is garbage, and you actually have to pay for items... I have more cons, but only a 500 word limit.

I love treecard and have used their service since 2022. However after switching from iPhone to Android, I have had nothing but issues with the app. Every time I go the tree valley, the app crashes and forces my phone to reset. Unsure where to report this problem. Will happily give 5 stars to this amazing service once app issue is resolved. And yes I did try uninstalling and reinstalling.

I love the concept but the app needs some work. Ever since they changed how the tree valley works, my total trees planted is drastically different than. Number of trees in the valley. I've messenged customer service many times and they don't understand. The tree valley was supposed to be a good visual representation of what I've done, but it has more trees than what I've planted. On top of that, the animal function has not worked since I've had the app and I've had it for at least a year now.

Love using the app, and I love the concept that they have. I'm always about trying to take care of the trees and planet. That stated I'm having a bit of issues with the discover versus tree valley tabs. In my tree valley it says I have almost 80 trees, but in the discover tab it's been stuck at 37 for quite a while. I also wish that they'd have more news coming through instead of nothing new. It's like they don't update the app at all or don't care to fix the issues.

Nice concept, but not perfect. I'm all for cleaning up the planet, so the motives here are good. It could be better with a few adjustments. 1- they really need to add the ability to sync steps from Garmin watches. They claim to have a workaround by installing more apps and syncing through them. I could not get that to work. 2- please add the ability to plant more than one tree at a time. Even if I get 20,000 steps in a day, I am only allowed to plant one tree.

5 stars on the goal of the app but the rewards aren't entirely user oriented. I love that the products are sourced for sustainability but quite a few of the larger rewards require you to spend a large amount of money and the reward a voucher or discount code makes a very minimal difference to what you'd already be spending. And overall the only entirely free reward is beeswax wraps. I love litterally everything about this app. But the reward goals are just very poor

I absolutely love this app and recommend it to anyone who is always on their feet and is walking. It is for a great cause and cost nothing. I like the points where you can use them towards eco friendly products. The only downside is that the steps aren't accurate, you have to be walking with your phone in your hand or pocket for it to accurately count, it would be great it if can connect paired with fitbit or other walking devices to get more accurate step count.
