TripIt often gets me update info -- gate changes, delays, etc -- even before the dedicated airline apps do. Amazing and appreciated! The constantly updated itinerary also is wonderdul as it keeps all of each journey's consolidated info in one place in chronological order and allows for edits, too. So handy and can be printed out in case one is without internet and/or WiFi. A fan? Absolutely!!!

A must-have app if you are a frequent traveler or just want to have your information all in one place. More features come with Trip Pro but the free version is functional to hold your flight and lodging info as well as landmarks in your itinerary. You can also save personal identification data in case you ever lose the physical documents.

At first the app was working fine. Downloaded the confirmations from the email and placed it in the app. Accuracy was not and is not its strength. Lately it has been deteriorated. It gives very basic info i.e FROM and TO. date, hour and that's it. ALL the rest is up to you to add, edit etc. Even worse: For some unexplained reasons it does not recognize vendors like Vacation-To-Go. And even when sending them the itinerary confirmation email to them-they DO NOT add it. SHAME! No one to talk to

Best trip planning app I've found. I've been using this app for about 6 mo. now and planned 6 trips with it. Having the time and place for everything all in one place is so convenient. My fav feature is the navigator which not only tells you the distance from one planned spot to the next but offers you transportation options with price. It's also great that they show places nearby to help you new tourists. My only issues is the slight lag when you add a lot of events (20+). OVERALL GREAT APP! 😁

Update: the most recent version pushes sync notifications every few minutes, and there's no way in so settings to stop them. I uninstalled it, incredibly annoying. The new version is fine, but the widget is no longer resizable to anything larger than it's default dimensions. Customizability is what widgets are supposed to be about. Would also like to see similar integration with Expensify as with Concur.

App does not show updated information after check-in. I checked in on-line and got my seat and boarding pass, but Tripit would not show that even after waiting for almost an hour. This makes the App quite useless. So I switched to Google Trips, which showed all the information instantly. However, Tripit has some features that I like and I would switch back if they fixed the problems mentioned above.

Seems ok as far as importing data, but I was looking for an app for a group trip, with group chat, friend finder, polling options. I feel like I could do everything this app does with Google calendar and sharing. I am sure this app makes it easier for most people, but, for me, easier would mean one single app that can coordinate our group's plans before AND during the trip.

I love using this app, it has helped us organize a multi-week, multi-location self-planned tour. I recommended it to several others! My 2 critiques would be: 1. A quick tutorial would have helped me add my husband as a traveler instead of his email being one of the ones on the account. (I didn't see the "add traveler" until after I had already built a good portion of the itinerary) 2. The ability to change categories. Right now one of my dinner reservations is a meeting.

Freezes alot when adding activities and when moving activities. I also get a "Saving failed. Try again" error the first 20 tries whenever I click the save button after making changes or moving activities. EDIT: I was able to save moved activities for a couple days but now I can't again. Other issues: Saved images are of terrible quality and depend on other apps to open and there is no ability, that I've found, to format notes such as paragraphs or indenting.

For anyone who likes to get the absolute most our of a trip by planning every detail by the minute, this is the trip planner for you!! Extremely user friendly!! I love the interactive access to maps and the way it links your reservations through your email. This is a very thoughtful app!! I've tried several others but none compare to the quality of TripIt!!!!

I'm Permanently deleting this app after giving it many opportunities to redeem itself. However, I can't abide the near constant errors it makes in in my itineraries. It misinterprets the itineraries and emails (for example, from airlines) and then gives false information about departure times, arrival times, airports, etc. The only thing I expect from this type of app is my ability to rely on it to give me correct information. This one just doesn't give that.

I love this app, but one thing I wish it would do is 'grab' screenshots of bording passes. Some airline apps / websites show you this image, but you have to be logged in to see it. Invariably, when you need it most, your log in had timed out and you have to scurry to log back in. The app doesn't need a log in, so if the image was saved there it'd be much faster to recall. I don't want to use a dozen apps when I am rushing through an airport. If I could keep it all in one that'd be awesome. Also, the "miles traveled" function in the Travel Stats part of the user profile doesn't seem to work, it says I've traveled zero miles...but it also lists 6 trips and 10 cities visited. The miles traveled part would be kind of fun to track, so it's a bummer that it doesn't seem to work.

Does a good job picking up my initial reservations and maintaining the details. However, it does not automatically log cancellations and changes. Have to go into the app and change info myself. Recently, I lost the feed to my Google calendar. I deleted it and re-set it up. But now, all my trips show in GMT instead of my local time. Lowered my rating because if this. The sync with calendar is now useless, and I've spent far too much time trying to correct it.

A good app with a few problems. I recently had to book an emergency flight for my granddaughter who is unable to make the flight as scheduled. I contacted the airlines and was able to rebook her 2 days later using the same confirmation number. I am unable to resolve the conflict on TripIt that this caused. I have used this app for many years, I'm even a pro member, however I do find that in some regards this app is pretty clunky.

Keeps crashing. Figures, paid for the pro version and the first trip we have a critical at risk connection in DFW. We are trying to pull up the map of the terminal and even try to use the directions on the app to navigate between gates. The app won't load either one of these functions and keeps crashing. I keep getting a message that the app crashed because it has a bug. What a waste.

Lots of bells and whistles but... It's great that this app automates many of the tedious tasks of travel planning but what I wanted was a tool to manage tickets and QR codes for all of the activities for a family of 4 on a tour of Italy. Adding events to an itinerary is easy but the free app limits the number of documents one can attach to a trip to three. Really? Paying for the pro version will allow one to add up to 25 documents but even that is restrictive. Disappointing. And unnecessary.

The concept and premise of this application is very good but it only works occasionally. It doesn't sync up with the website and lets you down when you need it the most. I subscribed to the Pro version. Very disappointed. The play store automatically updated the version to 13.5 which seems to have this "infinite loop" problem while syncing trips. I rolled back into 13.4.1 and that fixed the problem.

Love love love it, the only thing I have problems with is points tracker, which wouldn't be an issue if there was a way to update program points manually. Since so many companies require extra forms of verification I recieve more error messages than success messages and even forwarded emails seem to have issues - please add ability to manually update points.

I took a much more complex trip than I usually get recently - 3 cities, 5 hotels, trains and planes and car rentals and taxis.. Booked either directly or through at least 2 agencies, by either one of two people. It'd have been a nightmare to keep track of all that manually. I frequently had to edit details after imperfect pickup from confirmation emails, but at least the basics were there. Tripit made the whole endeavor MUCH smoother, I won't attempt travel without it in the future.

Updated to lower my star rating based on lack of responsiveness. Have used this app foe many years- at least 100 trips/year. Lately, it's unreliable and often won't open on my android phone leaving me frantically searching emails mid-trip. I've un-installed and reinstalled it three times but the fix doesn't last. Today it will send me messages that plans are received, but the app won't open so I can see them. And my phone keeps insisting the app should be put into deep sleep mode
