The app works great when everything is perfect; however, is not great when there is something wrong. There is nothing in the app that shows that a product is not available. After ordering several items I submitted them. There was an error that one items was not available. Instead of directing you back to a shopping basket or something to change that one item it erases the whole order and makes you start from scratch, which is a bit frustrating if you ordered for your whole family. After doing this three times with the same results I gave up.

This app is glitchy. When you try to close the app out, it pops up and opens again. So you have to try a few times to get out/close the app. At times it can lag (not service issues) There was something else that I can't think of right now. Overall the app just needs to work the bugs out. It would also be nice to have the menu seperate without having to select the order button.

Almost perfect. If I could change things about the app, I would: 1. Allow to use a gift card for a pick up order, and 2. Allow for disabling the debit card to scan your code for points or add a separate QR code that is just for scanning to get points. Other than that, it does almost everything you'd need for ordering and whatnot. Like it otherwise.

I just updated the app and I can't use it at all. It just sits with a smoothie blinking at the started up screen. I hate this, now I probably won't get any more smoothies as that's the only way I ordered them. Wish I could revert back to the old version. I've tried deleting it, reinstalling it, cleared cache, cleared data and nothing is working. I have a Note 10. I don't even have a way to contact Tropical Smoothie to get help with this!

For a corporate chain, during COVID, there are a number of improvements Tropical Smoothie could implement that would make this app more user friendly and less frustrating. For starters, do away with the process that clears the cart everytime an input is selected that confuses the app and requires a customer to start from scratch. It really shouldn't be this hard to give a company money.

The app is fairly user friendly, and I appreciate that the items are cheaper through their own app versus through a third party like DoorDash. My biggest nitpick would be that the location nearest to me was UNLISTED until I gave the app permissions to use my phone's GPS location. The cafe nearest to me wasn't in the list of places in Florida, it didn't appear when I put in the address, but the minute I gave Tropical Smoothie Cafe permission to access my phone's GPS, it pops right up; irritating.

Update is a downgrade. Updated automatically so couldn't stop it. Keeps saying it will email me to transfer points, but doesn't even when in request it manually. I've tried on not both accounts I had nothing. That's a lot of orbs points lost. App layout is confusing and hard to navigate not that ill use it anyway. Since I'm not getting my proper points, won't be visiting any locations.

New app still doesn't solve problem of ordering a smoothie + a cookie (with no wrap). Samsung S20 all updates applied. Sometimes you just want a drink & snack, guess you have to order it in person vs the app. Don't like that you have to scan the reward. Previous app would automatically do it if you scanned your account. This one, my experience, you have to scan the reward then your account or the receipt.

This is a significant downgrade. The UI is very unintuitive. I used to be able to pay at the register with the QR code from the app. It would pay and automatically give me all of the applicable discounts I had (loyalty, supplement, birthday). Now it appears you have to order using the app to pay through it and use only 1 of your available discounts, or scan the receipt afterwards. The rewards program through this app was huge reason I frequented TSC; if improvements aren't made I'll likely stop

I have used this for more than 2 years, it's a decent app. I have two issues though: it rarely ever allows me to find smoothie cafe locations as I always get "no locations found in your area" and I am at Super Charged level for more than 4 months but I have not once been able to use my reward for a free supplement because a message pops up saying "Offer not valid with this purchase" for any of the supplements. Aside from these two issues, the app is super easy to use.

No app is more deserving of a new review more than this one. The bad. App has trouble scanning receipts after purchasing in person. Lots of barcode invalid errors and app seems to lock receipts to being near a cafe. The good. The customization options are great, seeing all the choices is better than walking in and asking what can I add. Notifications when you get free smoothies or discounts and rewards. Notifications for new flavors etc. Easy to pay and order, get more points. great recovery!

Since the update I can't login at all even after my FB account says I have. It just won't go any further than the login page. It also closed out completely on its own when trying to reopen. I've restarted the app a few times and it still does the same thing. I tried to order on the website, but there was no where I could login that I could find. I'd hate to lose the progress on my rewards. Plus the app helps me order online when I'm in a hurry to work. Really bummed, I hope it gets fixed soon.

The app doesn't load past a login. I've already "upgraded" my account. I click login, it looks like its loading then takes me back to the "upgrade your account" page. So, I try to "upgrade" and fill out the form. It then takes me back to the red "Tropical Smoothie" screen with no way to move forward or back. I close out of the app entirely, and its rinse and repeat. I'm throwing in the towel with this restaurant as a whole.

What is the expectation from an app that has more options, enhanced user experience, but reduces the value for the end user? With the previous app, my rewards (I have reached the top level) were applied automatically. With the new I have to be mindful about which reward to apply MANUALLY, otherwise I lose it if I don't buy again within a certain timeframe. In my last couple purchases I have lost dollars which I guess go to pay for an otherwise free app upgrade. I don't appreciate this.

I would give 5 stars if the app allowed more customization. Meaning, I like to add things to my orders however the only options given are to take away. So, by doing so I cannot use to app to order which then hinders my decision to even eat there. Not to mention, smoothies used to be like $6-$7 and now they're just ridiculous. I used to order from there several times a week but now I barely go at all. Shame, they have amazing food/smoothies.

Isn't compatible with Samsung devices apparently. won't save the password. can't even find the app in Samsung passwords. they use a weird website to save their password in Chrome. can't even find it in Chrome after creating it. apparently the app isn't registered as tropical smoothie. why do so many people fail with their technology and the user experience 🤦‍♂️

When I click on menu, it says "For a better experience turn on device location, which uses Google's location service. " I click No thanks, and the prompt just pops back up. Please fix that. If I'm not ready to order then I'm not ready, I just want to view the menu. When I am ready to order, I already have stores selected as favorites, I don't need to find a store. Other than that, the app is fine. I like the updates on points added, being able to favorite orders, and the UI is good.

This review isn't necessarily about the app but the problems you have if your order isn't complete. I ordered thru the app and didn't receive my full order. Called the store multiple times (about 20 times) and no one answered. Filed a complaint through the app and now 2 weeks later, STILL NO RESPONSE. So I have lost money and food. I will not be using the app again. I will just order thru Door Dash. At least if there is a problem, ix can be resolved quickly.

It's okay, mostly does as it should but I have two major issues. I have my favorite stores saved but no matter what I can't order unless my location is on only to be shown, surprise, my fave closest store. Second my rewards are mostly useless because every transaction is "invalid" for any free add on or supplements when at the payment screen.

Creating an account should be as frictionless as possible. However, there is no way to do so without either logging in through Facebook, which I don't have a Facebook account anymore, or through an email address and password. Autofill doesn't work on this app. It's almost like the developer decided to say hey. We can take an iOS app and make it. Android, when Android and iOS are two different platforms. Also, the fact that you can't add the loyalty card directly to Google wallet makes this app s
