I have had minimal problems with the functionality of the application. Mostly user friendly. Most car owners are very accommodating and quick to return messages. Otherwise i would like a faqs page to answer common questions. - list of expectations for driver and owner. Example: Owner pick up drop off window. Max wait 30-60 minutes.

This was my first time using Turo. I definitely recommend you consider Turo as an option when booking your next car rental. I had an awesome first-time experience. Pick up and drop off was super easy, the car was exceptionally clean, and the price was about half the cost of renting the same car at the airport. If you're traveling to San Antonio, TX, I highly recommend Claudia Ellis.

This is a great app. I've ran into a few issues where the car didn't open remotely. The polite customer service tried to fix the issue but unfortunately it doesnt work all the time. My main concern is the fees. The fees are EXORBIANT. The price that the car says is just plain wrong- the trip fee is usually 80-90% of the car daily price and I am assessed a young driver fee of $30. A $47/day car could be $600 over 3 days for me. Lame! Complaints aside, this app is just straight fire!! 🔥

This is a top tier booking service. The user interface is beautifully designed and the screening process is wonderfully simple. Booking is done all in the app and they're extremely competitive when it comes to pricing. In fact, the prices beat out Hyre, Enterprise, Budget,etc. They have vehicles to meet all needs and fair refund/insurance policies. I can't say enough to recommend this company. Give them a try. Never have I left a review, especially not 3a.m. for free, unprovoked. So, trust me!

The idea is genius, but the app itself is trash. Customer service is clueless and unempathetic. This review will generate a generic "Hey, sorry you feel that way. Feel free to email our garbage support team for further 'help'". And that is why I personally believe Turo will eventually be replaced as the top car hosting app, if it doesnt address the apps technical and customer service issues. I have had great experiences with the hosts so far, but the app itself has let me down time and again.

first two trips great! Update: 3rd trip horrible experience from the start. None of the coupons they gave me worked all expired that same day but apparently at a specific time. The car ended up with flat tires they don't tell you they don't require the host to have a spare. So went to the host replaced tires now ending up with a bill for over $1000 bought insurance no point cause they will make up charges. disputed but price keeps going up when disputing

The app forced me to check in at the time the trip was supposed to start and then there was no way to buy additional insurance anymore. When I called in to fix it, the customer service basically told me that "when they click it, it doesn't change." and wouldn't let me speak to another department. Very unhelpful. So I did the trip on minimal insurance. Fortunately there were no issues but I felt uncomfortable.

Turo is great. I've used it twice now and have recommended it to several friends. The app could use some improvements, though. I was directed to upload photos of the vehicle interior before I was able to get the keys. This may only be an issue when pickup and do drop off are handled remotely, however.

only one car in my local area but I was able to rent it thank God it was easy to use, everything worked, was able to communicate with the host easily throughout. fair price EXCEPT that I rented for 2 days and they called it 3, and I paid for unlimited miles on day one not knowing I would have to pay twice more for unlimited miles on day 2 and day 3. that feels like a rip off but of course they're going to squeeze everything they can

Everything in the app was fairly user friendly, in theory. In practice, not so much. My 1st reservation cancelled saying his last user extended rental (this should not be possible if another reservation is made). I get another car, seems like good host.. I get a call an hour before pickup that previous renter extended time and she could get me another car which was much older than the one I rented. I cancelled after that. Probably won't do business with them again. This service needs work.

Turo is an awesome program, check with your insurance before spending the extra money on their coverage. USAA covers the car you are driving with same terms as your primary personal vehicle. Love the app, it makes it easy to get going and take the vehicle back. They need to give you an easy way to track mileage so you don't go over your allowance.

Turo provides a great service. The app was a little buggy but it worked. I would suggest differentiating yourself from the legacy car rental companies and display total cost when customers are scrolling through choices. Nobody enjoys arriving at the final checkout page and being greeted by a significantly higher amount than they'd been expecting.

Worse experience I've ever had with a company. Had a flat tire, and their roadside assistance cracked the rim. From there I spent 40 hours before getting someone to tell me to ABANDON the host's car and to book my own travel from there on. I was staying on the Isle of Skye and stranded on vacation wasting entire days on the phone trying to resolve the issue. I faced a choice of driving 250 miles on a spare tire and losing my insurance coverage or abandoning the car. Do not use!!

The vehicle was in great shape, was very clean, and provided the perfect amount of space we needed for our trip. David & Jessice were fantastic! The communication provided regarding pick up and drop off was very clear and timely. I highly recommend them and would use them again if I ever return to the Denver area.

Very good except for all the extra fees! Wish that I could get a total price of in the car and driving ahead, so we could know the total price before we click. And for the first ride, if I change to another car for some unforeseen reason, they will not honor the first ride voucher for $100, even if it's still your first ride! To get that would really make my day and I think capture more interest in their platform.

This app/company is a rip off!!!! I will never use them again! Update: I should've stood on business. If 1 little thing happens they automatically side with the host. How can you say free drop off but I have to pay over $30 to get it. That's not free! Update: someone did contact me and resolved a few issues. If the company can see a little more from the customers point of view it'll be amazing.

Long time user of this app, more than 5 years already. Had many trips with no issue. However, you quickly understand if an app works properly or not when it comes to an issue with the car or with the host. The host cancelled my trip without reason, just 2 hrs before my trip. I was not offered a replacement car by Turo, customer service is the worst I have seen in my life. Agents are not trained at all. An AI chatbot would make a better job. All my holiday plans wasted, and still not compensated.

No good for TESLAs. No good in customer service solutions. First ever experience with Turo was a bad one. App worked fine but Turo did not provide a suitable alternative when my reservation got cancelled by the host, just 24 hours before pickup. After being left with no reservation, in order to rebook something comparable with what I originally booked, a TESLA Model X, I had now to spend 50% more. Turo will not upgrade your reservation to a higher level, even if that level can solve the issue.

App has pretty nice cars, but there are some things I dislike; such as the trip fee being equal to the amount of the daily fee. If you need the car for just a few hours, you are still charged for a full day's rental. Their daily fees are still lower than that of Getaround's so that's cool. I probably would have less of an issue with the trip fee being equal to the car's daily fee if it were refundable at the end of your trip. It claims to be for incidentals etc, so it almost sounds like one.
