Too many ads. Unable to set sleep timer unless you pay for an upgrade. I only downloaded the app because we misplaced one of the remotes. I almost want to order another remote and delete this app.

too many ads and you have to pay does what the original app for devices gives you free. EDIT: as far as the app itself, it does work. But I could easily see someone getting irritable with how many ads pops up and uninstalling the app unless they pay to remove them. My personal opinion id extend the periods between ads. May get more business?

Worst kind of app to put ads on. So many at the wrong time makes it difficult to even use, much prefer a regular tv remote that doesn't make me watch ads or pay just to use the remote. Edit: developer said I could use the pro version of the app to remove ads. Do you seriously expect people to pay monthly for a tv remote? Thats crazy. With that money I could just buy a real tv remote that works 10x better than your app.

Ads interrupt so frequently that I was skipping through a majority of the show, before the ad completed, and I could use the remote efficiently again. Uninstalling this one because I found a better one with less ads.

Does the job but you have to wait for it to reconnect to your TV every time you use it and it takes forever to do it so if you just want to turn the volume down you have to wait for avout a minute to do it. Not worth a subscription fee that's for sure.

This was pretty good app, it helps me alot when my mom hide the remote. (almost get caught) but i only give 4 stars because the app has so many adds even when you click the button a few times an add will appear out and you must wait the skip button. i hope you (the creator) stop the adds, just a little adds.

Works, but there are so many ads. As soon as you click three buttons, an add pops up, so it's annoying. With the app, it takes 5 minutes just to put what you want to watch on. You might as well spend 30 seconds to get up to get the remote, save more time.

It immediately wants you to go premium and that's okay.... if you actually tell us what we get with premium. I'm not going to do a trial subscription just to find out, because then I would have to go through the hassle of canceling the free 3-day(ONLY 3 days??)subscription. What kind of business model is this?🙄🤦‍♀️ Additionally, for the the price they are charging, I might as well just buy the damn remote at the store. Again, what kind of business model is this? 🙄🤦‍♀️ Immediate uninstall.

Signed up for free trial and forgot to cancel. No big deal, I lose my remote occasionally, so at least with premium, I won't still see ads. Still seeing ads and the ads bombard the app to the point it's unbearable. I'm looking for a refund now. Will update the review if that happens. So far, bad service. Let's hope customer care is better. Edit: As you can see, developers' generic response that doesn't work, I've escalated the issue to Google for a refund and reporting this scam.

It works good. An annoying problem is that it can not connect to my TV unless it's already powered on. The whole point in a remote is so that I don't have to use the buttons on the TV. Secondly the price for premium is way to high. A quick Google search shows I can get a new TV remote for $10-$20. Also found the Roku TV app gives you a free remote without ad pop-ups, more options such as a key board, and powers the TV on instead of me needing to get up to turn it on before I can use the remote.

Way too many commercials all at the wrong time. Especially when you're trying to scroll or change the channel. Every time it never fails. Keep your eyes on the remote and not the tv when you're trying to scroll or read comments on YouTube or whatever. Next thing you know, you're in the app store about to download some stupid app. The remote itself is alright. Just bad UI and UX.

The amount of ads is insane!!! I had to sit through FIVE lengthy video ads just to input for ONE movie into the search ... I can't even imagine how long it would take to scroll and look for a movie 🤯🤯 Then I was turning up the volume, it got too high, and just before I could turn it back down; MORE ADS. Seriously?? This app is the worst one I've ever used because of that. It seems like they remote works ok, but yikes, who could deal with this?

It's a real pain. It doesn't do what the real remote does like adjust volume or have the microphone feature. Constantly have to reconnect. I paid for the lifetime subscription and it has ads! That's crazy! Response to Roku: none of the tips helped. $26 wasted. ETA: Nothing worked to fix it, so I was offered a refund. It's been about 2 weeks & still no refund.

Works great! I just miss when these apps were free and didn't have an ad every five seconds. You click 10 times, ad. You open the app, ad. You connect it to your TV, ad. But you can get rid of it! For only 26.99!... A month... Evil developer. With that money I can buy a replacement remote. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go pirate this app with unlocked features.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!! THIS APP!!!!!!! I am CONSTANTLY losing my TV remote. one night I thought "Hey I wonder if there's a ROKU Remote App available?" I went to my app store typed in Roku remote and there was numerous options available to me. I wanted one that wasn't going to charge, and there was a few different ones to choose from. I got the free one with Ads but they don't bother me or cause issue with using the remote in any way. LOVE IT DEFINITELY GET APP ON ALL YOUR PHONES. ITS WORTH IT.

Worst app ever. Do not get unless you like ads on your phone constantly while trying to use it to watch tv. When searching for a show, you can't even type the whole word before an add will pop up, click the arrows 5 times browsing, surprise shawty! another add. It is so completely ridiculous. You can't use the remote while the ads are playing. It is the most obnoxious app i have ever used. Can't use the keyboard feature unless you pay for it. If i could leave a 0 star review I would.
