complete garbage of an app. Do not reply on this for mobile pickup. it has an entirely separate application when you go pickup that takes forever. But then it doesn't even confirm and loops back to the start of th application. I'm literally sitting in my car trying to get this turd of an app to work. Location service works 50% of the time, and this app is scuffed if it doesn't work. overall I would give a negative score if it were possible.

When going between landscape and portrait mode to take pictures the app blacks out and takes you to the first step of the return. It did this everytime had to restart the return like 5 times. Then I did it and completed a rental for me without letting me upload the pictures of the inside of the app. Now I have to wait for a long time for customer service and probably wait like 30min communicating and getting an email to send the photos to.

No point in reserving a u haul. I always show up to be told they don't have my reserved truck available and my reservation was moved to a different location then to go there to be told they have nothing available and my reservation was again moved to another location. U haul sucks!!!!!! And no one ever picks up the phone at the locations so you can't call the actual location to confirm before showing up.

I was trying to use the app to pick up my rental but it couldn't even get past the step where it confirms that I'm at the correct location. And yes the app had location permissions. The website is even worse as far as the mobile pickup/return experience goes. Can't recommend this app at all as this isn't even the first time I've had issues with it.

Picking up the truck with this app was a nightmare. Took 30 mins to get it to work, including closing and restarting the app 5+ times because it couldnt get location, couldnt scan the license, then when all that worked it would go into an infinite loading screen. Oh, and when you take pictures, if you turn your phone to landscape the app goes black forcing you to back up and restart the whole process. Worse experience ive ever had with uhaul.

Should be a great way to reserve, pick up and drop off but it's extremely glitchy on my Android. I use uhauls semi frequently and the app has failed me at every step, every time and various points in the process. Very annoying and nerve wracking when you're dropping off after hours and keep having to repeating the same steps because it's glitching and never even successfully make it to the end. Currently I'm trying to start a new reservation and it just refreshes the home page. Please fix!

Tried to return a trailer, took the first image, it kicked back to the main menu, and now the trailer rental doesn't exist under my account save for one button that directs me to call. Estimated half an hour wait, and judging by the other people here on their phones trying to return equipment this is par for the course. Inexcusable garbage, figure out how to make an app that's not worthless.

I set up a reservation online. It suggested checking in with the app and provided a link to install it. That was the end of the smooth part. Upon trying to set up an app account it failed to an error screen at the create password screen. Multiple tries, never went through. So I forced close the app and tried again, same thing. Forced closed again and tried to skip setup and log in, which seemed to work, but there were no reservations listed. I guess I'll have to call... Bad app

The app failed me on both pickup and drop-off. On pickup, even though the location feature knew my location, check-in repeatedly failed on verifying my location. On check out, the process reset itself every time I rotated my phone to take a better picture, even when I was almost done and didn't finish taking pictures, and I couldn't finish check out and had to call. Basically, don't bother.

Honestly a consistently horrible app. It's hot trash water. Crashes constantly. It often takes longer to reserve a truck on the app than to just walk in the front door and reserve on site. Too many steps, too many pages, too many points of failure. We rent uhaul trucks often (several times/month) for our rental company. The app is by far the worst part of the experience each time. Don't waste your time downloading, go to their website online it's quicker. Would give zero stars if possible.

App would not work for picking up. All settings correct and 4 bars on cellular services. Luckily, it was at a time and location was still open. So I went through office. On drop off the same problem took me about 10 times and over 20 minutes. App needs major improvement, or u-haul should stop offering this option because it's useless and aggravating.

Useless app, literally don't bother. The app's location feature doesn't work, so i can't pick up the truck. I'm here, standing next to the truck, and also in front of the location's front door, location enabled "always on," and full bars for service. So while I waste moving hours waiting for the office hours so I can go in to get it, I share reviews.... super disappointing and pointless. Do better, U haul.

U-Haul should invest in a QA team. There's just no way this app was tested with any kind of rigor. The developers should be embarrassed. - it may or may not be able to access your location. This seems to be completely arbitrary. - want to turn your phone to landscape to take better pictures when returning? Bad idea, rotating your phone to landscape and back resets the process and you'll have to take all the pictures again. - want to log into the account you just made on the app? Good luck.

This app is a nightmare. It’s slow, crashes constantly, double-charges, and rejects my credit card. Logging in feels like trying to remember a password from the Stone Age. It worked great the first time, and the staff even celebrated, but now it’s a disaster. Shopping with long lines and no staff, plus this app’s issues, is a major hassle. If you enjoy frustration, this app is for you!

App is so frustrating! Takes an eternity to find your location when picking up a truck during non-business hours. Just as others have experienced, when you follow the direction of the notification telling you to view and take pictures in landscape mode on your phone, it refreshes and everything you have worked on in the pick up process disappears with no apparent way of getting it back. So I was unable to do a proper pick up procedure.

Geo location failed. Could not use app to check in and complete rental pick up. Chat support took forever. Had to use Chrome browser to finally attempt rental pickup. Once verified, I received the lock box code. The lock box had the wrong key inside. Over an hour wasted, and I had to leave without the truck. Absolutely horrible app and service.

DO NOT PUT YOUR PHONE IN LANDSCAPE MODE! As others have said, if you turn your phone in landscape more it refreshes and deletes all the information and pics you filled out, making you start again. Any pictures you do take will only register in portrait mode anyway. Even after I figured out how to work past all the bugs it still takes me at least 30 min to pick up or drop off a truck with this app. I don't understand how so many blatant bugs were allowed to pass through the development.
