Stop deleting useful reviews and make the change we want. Just simply bring back the old version, everyone makes a wrong decision now and then but being ignorant and stubborn is horrible for a company to take this view and ignore the right choices. these ratings are not accurate at all. EDIT: thank you for the reply and I'm completely sure you're working very hard but, we need to see another update in order for that to be proven. Keep up the work and please for the love of god bring back alarms. Edit: after the update for some users some problems have been fixed however you guys still failed to alter the update to have an alarm setting which was a key setting for many users. What was the point of deleting a very useful setting? Please add it back in the next update.

I used the old megaboom app, then finally switched to this, after months of the old app saying something new was on the way. My fault for not checking, I guess. This improved app does a lot of things better, and adds a few small things that also make it better. I can just open this app and see the battery status of both speakers in a couple of seconds once it recognizes the speakers. I only gave this 4/5 stars because I know it can always get better. I'm very pleased with this app, thanks UE.

We've had our BOOM for several years now. It still sounds good but we are having 2 problems. 1) It's draining the battery quicker so we are having to charge it a lot more frequently. 2) My husband and I both use the BOOM with our individual phones. I would like it to be easier when we switch over from using say his phone one day and then my phone the next. We have 1 BOOM that we are using on 2 phones at different times. Getting a 2nd or even an updated BOOM is just not feasible right now.

Yo UE, What happened to the stereo sound with left and right audio? I had the previous megaboom app that had it and was forced to Uninstall the older app when I installed this one. I no longer see left and right stereo sound option! This was my favorite feature when paired with one other device and I regret losing out on it. Also miss the cool volume toggle from the megaboom app in the color of my speaker as the screen. Still love the products and have multiple ue products in my home. Revise app!

Take the speaker outside for 20 minutes and it starts glitching out like crazy. What good is a portable speaker that can't handle regular summer conditions? Especially at $200. The app continuously pauses my music to tell me it needs me to connect to the internet. There is NO REASON to need an internet connection or to interrupt my audio. Next, the speaker pauses frequently for no reason on it's own once it gets warm as well. Let me turn your stupid app voice off and stop interrupting my music.

Sept 6 2022. Success! The party up feature is working. Gave it test to see what would happen and in less time than imagined, they synched up! Currently testing to see how well in works through the day. Will try moving speakers to different rooms. If the phone gets too far it does get glitchy. Purposely unsynchronized both the speakers, waited a few minutes, turned it back on it synced up immediately.

This app is great when it works. After a few days of using it, it allows me to turn the speaker on, but then says it can't connect. I have had to factory reset my speaker twice to get this app to work again. I'm not sure if this is just an android thing or if this happens on apple phones as well. Either way, this needs to get looked at by the developers and get patched. I'd like to use this app all the time, but I can't. I don't want to factory reset my speaker every week just to use the app.

Previous version was fine. Now it's completely useless. What's the purpose of this app if it's so buggy to a point where it's core functions of remote controlling the speaker don't work? Now it is much faster to walk to my speaker and turn it on or adjust the volume than the several minutes it takes to get the app to work. 2018/09/26 Edit: Turning on the speaker remotely works most of the time now. So I returned a few stars. However, the volume function is extremely laggy and sometimes doesn't work at all. There seems to be some kind of weird tethering effect between the speaker volume control and my phone's media volume control. They should be separate but sometimes adjusting one would also change the other on the app.

The app is killing me!!! I am having buyers remorse after purchasing 2 Mega Boom 3s and 1 hyperboom all because of the app! The constant static along with the connectivity issues.... UE please help.... I've done the hard resets, deleted and re-download app. I have kept the speakers literally next to one another... What else can I do???? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Functionality I give this app three stars , I've been using this app since expiration for Android, love the way it sounds also the EQ functions, works on all my devices, just a couple hiccups sometimes but no big deal. Other than having to turn on location services to turn my other speaker on this was never necessary Pryor and worked just fine now they say it's mandatory :( Other than that Thanks UE Boom! P.S. a widget would be great!

Update: This is hilarious because the app developer responded to me with a link to click for help, and the link is broken! Thanks idiots! Customer service=0 This app has worked great for a while until the most recent update. Now the entire app is basically useless because it won't connect to my speaker even though my phone is playing music through it. I tried to get support through the app and all of the links are broken. Thanks idiots. Who wrote the code for this an 8th grade vocational class?

Continuously stops. 1 hour in a.m. to troubleshoot, another hour lost against by noon. One day lost many hours troubleshooting this app to play my speakers. VERY FRUSTRATED! Update: the app was frozen and only allowed opening it and toggling between speakers but no further access so obviously no way to access help or support from the app. After a couple days using my headphones to study my music, I reinstalled and wax able to get app to function okay so far.

Since the most recent update, I have been completely unable to use my speakers. The speaker turns on and off repeatedly and will not stream music using the app made specifically for my speakers. I've had to delete the app and go back to simply connecting via my phone's Bluetooth settings.

UPDATE!!! I contacted technical support. After their suggested troubleshooting didn't work, they sent me a new speaker. So far, there are no issues. Excellent customer service. Old review : The sound is exceptional, BUT after 30 minutes, a warning stops what I'm playing and says, "To use this feature, make sure your app is running and can access the internet." My app is running and is obviously connected to the internet because I am streaming (podcast, music, YouTube, etc). This is so annoying.

Just got 2 BOOM 4 on 9/10/24, so that way can use party mode. Speakers connect to my phone, and they do play only 1 at a time. I go into the app, and it does not show a speaker connected at all. Keeps saying to connect one. I even un-installed and reinstalled. Even reset speakers. The phone seems to see them, but the app does not.

With installing this app and getting the mega boom 3, it'll constantly ask after having YT Music open for awhile "have app open to use this feature" it's open in the background and YT music is the music app I leave open. This may need a new update. Update: speakers still to this day give the message "to use this feature" and I have reset the speaker multiple times. Buy one at your own risk.(new: still same bs. AWFUL 4 ANDROID 1 Speaker only and even ..)

Most recent update ruined my phones Bluetooth volume control. I get the choice of one volume level for all settings or mute (at 0). I can only remotely control volume level by manual adjustment within the app or the volume button on the speaker, phone volume up/down is non-functional now.

The app doesn't work at all! I'm stuck in a constant loop of the app telling me to connect my Wonderboom 4 via Bluetooth to my phone when it's already connected. Every time I return to the app as instructed, it asks me to pair it again even though it's already paired. Lame and frustrating.

The speaker works great, sound quality is impeccable. One star because I can't figure out how to stop the speaker from interrupting my music or video content at the beginning, telling me to make sure the app is running and can access the Internet. Doesn't matter if the app is open and able to access the Internet, I will get interrupted at every start up. Please tell me there is a way to turn it off! Old UE Boom never did this... Make it stop!!!

Works, but wish it had more options. Buying a $400 speaker and not being able to turn off the remote on feature from the app is pretty unfortunate. The battery drains in a few weeks since the speaker is never really off. I've heard this toggle was added back for other speakers. Please add it back for the Hyperboom so we don't have to come back to dead speakers!
