This... I'm an half intermediate and half advanced ukulele player... the app is like begging for money... I rather go learn myself than using this.

Easy to follow and fun! It can't give you feedback on technique like an instructor could, and occasionally I swear it's my phone's microphone that's messing up, not me, but those are inevitable limitations. This is a wonderful tool for learning on your own and on a small budget.

Its a great app to study your instrument. Im a malayalee, most of the time malayalees don't tells a great thing about anything becuz we weren't satisfied of those. But this app is a great app. Trust me you will have so much fun and you will learn many lessons through this app. But the only issue is that, this app is paid 🥲.

Had the paid version for over a year ,and it s really nice ,filled with many features and cool lessons, sad to see once you stop membership you have access to literally nothing, 0 lessons , and all the songs are locked.. what is the point of the free version I m curious , just a ukulele tuner then?

Just love using this app! Taught me lots and iv found it much easier than its competitors to use. Only improvement would be to have the words of the songs to sing along while playing!

The app is a little tricky to cancel your free trial subscription, in my opinion intentionaly. Then only year plan (and pretty expensive) is available. Otherwise, the method and the app are pretty good.

This app is not free. The first part is, but the strumming cords one plus the rest aren't. I thought it was free. It says nothing on Google Play about the lessons costing any money. I thought the in-app purchases were for the premium stuff. I'm not mad. I'm just irritated. I wish that the lessons were free.

Learning from tutorials and tutors can work, but I've found just picking up the uke and playing whenever I feel like it highly gratifying. Being able to play songs I listen to to practice is also phenomenal for retention.

I deleted this app sometime ago because of this. I thought I'd give it another try but it just disappointed me again. All in all it's really so amazing. Great work! But I honestly gave it 2 starts because the free version is extremely, and by extremely I do mean extremely limited. You are allowed no videos at times, especially the chords and their practice. I wouldn't mind watching skip-able ads to gain access to more videos, but in this state, the app is somewhat useless in the unpaid version.

I was really excited for this app but after you finish learning how to tune your Ukulele, it's over. You have to pay for everything after that. I get maybe having to pay for other extra melodies, but I downloaded this app to learn how to play the notes and frets. You have to pay for everything. It's not worth it to me, especially for 12 dollars a month. I don't have a credit card to start a free trial.

Really fun and cool idea for learning an instrument, I played though all the free stuff which took about 20 minutes, wish it was more free. But the monthly and the yearly plans are entirely way too expensive to justify the amount of free content you get to sample before hand. Maybe if it was 10 dollars a month or maybe not a whole upfront charge after the free trial of 150 dollars. Make it more affordable and I'll consider reinstalling.

This app is frustrating. The difficulty increases quickly. I found the melodies pretty much impossible. Points are based on your timing, and it is really hard to tell when the little ball is actually hitting the chord. It is really disheartening to play all of the chords correctly and then get a much lower score than when you were fumbling around because you didn't time the little dot right. Good effort, but this app made me want to quit playing and I wish I hadn't paid for this.

This would be a 5-star review if not for the huge paywall. The learning itself is great, I feel like if there were more free content, I'd be able to accomplish a lot. My complaint is how there's no additional free to play content after 15-20 minutes. I don't want to pay for a subscription, and I know a lot of people agree with me. I wouldn't mind watching a few ads to unlock a new level or getting perfection on a past level to advance if the learning can become more accessible to everyone.

So, I tried this app and I really was enjoying what I was learning and getting to play some familiar melodies of songs, but you can only get that by signing up for a subscription. So, I signed up just to test it and see if it's something I'd like to pay for and it's not letting me change my subscription, to pay monthly ($20/mo) or pay ($140/annually). Well I don't have the annual payment available but I can pay the monthly and would be interested if this didn't feel so cornering.

I've never played the ukulele or any instrument and this app makes it easy for me. It starts with tuning and let's you go step by step at your own pace to learn, you can slow it down or speed it up and even pause. There's a hand illustrated with different colored fingers that match the different strings to help ...This app makes it fun to learn!

This app was great. It helped me learn how to transfer from one line to another but there is a lot of problems with it being a "easy learn ukelele". 1. Huge pay wall. Your given 0, 1, 2, 3 and the string for the first few songs and it's nice. But you don't learn cords without paying or using free trial and you can't unsubscribe from the pay. 2. Anything that really regards learning ukelele is locked without paying and even after paying or using a free trial it still doesn't help.

I don't have the paid version, but it may be worth the large price. Even with not paying for anything, this still was alright to try, (it was basically 15 minutes of free use honestly) and I've been able to learn the basic free songs provided! If you have an old ukulele and some spare time, you could give this a try and not let it go to waste. (My complaints would be that the price is hefty and the app can't always hear me play)

The tuner is the only good thing about the app. There is only 15-20 mins worth of learning for free to play users. I thought that some additional features and extra songs were locked in the premium but the whole learning course is literally locked. You learn the first 3 chords and boom you've got to pay to proceed. Disappointed, considering the free tutorials were actually good.

The app is great for beginners like me, and I really haven't gone very far into the app, not past the basic part anyway. However, when I played the tabs level, it refused to respond to my A cord. I have downloaded this app on another device and thought it was just a fluke, or it might be me, but I've tried plucking the string louder, bringing the phone closer, adjusting the mic settings, everything. Its such a shame because its so interactive with its students, but it drives me crazy.

This app has really helped me as a beginner to music in general. I do the paid subscription because I find a lot of value in it and have learned a lot quickly. It's fun to add the competitive element of challenging friends and it's cool that you can add the musical notation above the chords as an option. It usually seems to pick up the notes correctly, though there are rarely issues with that. I just double check that I'm in tune and run calibration again to solve any issues.
