I'm not one to complain about an apps UI, but this one is absolutely terrible. Categories take forever to load and when they do you can't even click on the actual products. Certain categories just display a blank screen now, I haven't been able to view fragrances for weeks. My account info is also being displayed wrong and I can't even fix it because the page. won't. load.

Had the app for quite some time now and have been able to get the app to work by closing and reopening if I ever had a problem. However since installing the update I am unable to do anything on the app it tells me page couldn't load refreasha and retry, but no matter how many times I close and reopen it does absolutely nothing, very sadden by this.

The app will never load and kicks me out of my account constantly. I used to be able to get back into it by force-stopping, but now it displays the same white, Please Refresh We Are Having Trouble Loading, page endlessly. Ulta app has always been slow but in the last year, it has severely declined. I can't even stop online either, their website will never load either. You'd figure they would sort these technical issues out before their major sales as well.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Their credit card rewards program is a scam! They charged me hundreds of dollars the one time I used it for a small purchase. I paid it off in full but they charged me an additional $2 after the fact but didn't tell me. I found out a year later that the $2 is now almost $300 and all they said was oh it looks like you didn't make monthly payments. Ulta has lost a costumer and I'm taking as many people as I can save with me.

PayPal checkout just takes me to a blank screen. I opt for regular checkout, but get an error message about some of the items in my bag being unavailable to ship to my address (ridiculous on its own) and says to remove items or change my delivery address. Since I don't have a whole other address I can ship things I'm buying to, I try and remove the offending items, but the app won't tell me which ones can't ship to me... just weirdly difficult to use. Ready to give up on the app and go to CVS

Got a new phone, Galaxy Z Flip4, and cannot log in, check store availability, order, NADA. Have uninstalled, reinstalled... still nothing. Says that there's an error and refresh to load but nothing happens. Apparently their new update crashed everything. When not using Wifi, app is glitchy and slow but on Wifi, no access. Ulta, PLEASE FIX!

I got a new phone, galaxy s24+, and have had nothing but problems with this app. Same problem as many reviews I see here.. I log in but then says page didn't load and to refresh, but it still won't load. I deleted app and re-installed but have the same issue. I am surprised that such a large company has allowed this problem to persist for weeks. I have been a loyal customer of ulta for many years, but am thinking it's time to download sephora app.

0 stars if it were possible. Both the website and app constantly glitch and freeze. Unable to even sign into my account on either right now. When I have been able to log in it takes forever to even place an order as the app freezes after every step. Can't understand how a company of this size can't do better than this in 2024.

Used to actually be able to use the app, but nope, never mind! Nothing wants to load. Instead, I'm stuck there staring at a white page for 5 minutes. This app has kicked me out of my account multiple times to the point where I gave up on constantly signing in and just continued without it. I buy from here all the time, and the app has just declined so much in the last months. I guess my best bet is Sephora.

App is very glitchy since the new update. Links from notifications result in an error message that says the page is not loading and to refresh. However refreshing does nothing. Free scrolling is non-existant, when scrolling the page cuts off the bottom portion of items. Typing is very slow or undetecable until it catches up and then everything is misspelled so have to delete and try again.

The app......😳🥺😡🤬 I've been trying to use the app for quite a while, and it doesn't work. It says to refresh, but it doesn't. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times. It's had me upgrade, but it's already upgraded. I've got screenshots of everything, but I don't know where to upload them. The store and people are 10 🌟 ⭐️

App continually gives an error message - page cannot load, try refreshing type message - - when I try to navigate to a page when using app on Wi-Fi. App immediately works properly if I turn my Wi-Fi off and use mobile data. My Wi-Fi functions properly with the other 247 apps on my phone so I don't believe the problem is my Wi-Fi. Really not conducive to wanting to spend my money with a company.

I have a Samsung S22 ULTRA and when using the Ulta app it constantly refreshes my search. If I tap the back arrow on the app or phone it restarts search from beginning. I randomly get White or Black blank pages when loading certain products. Everything in the Ulta app takes forever to load. I've cleared my Cache, Data, I've Force stopped it as well. I've uninstalled and the reinstalled this app, as well as making sure the app is up to date. It does this on both Data and WiFi.

This app can work great at times but at other times links won't open when I click on them (this seems to happen a lot with GWP offers) or my cart will malfunction (sometimes codes won't work though they should). It can be incredibly frustrating. Support staff is helpful but to be honest I don't always have the time to deal with it and just skip making the purchase.

The app is great...when it's working. But for a long while, even after deleting and downloading it again, the app continuously crashes. I've missed out on a few online only freebies, because I couldn't get the app(and website) to function properly at checkout. Hope they take care of this, as it's been a problem for months.

I love shopping at Ulta. However, the app is TERRIBLE! It won't save favorites or add new favorites. It constantly crashes or randomly glitches and logs me out. The developers really need to fix these issues so the application is more user friendly and less of a headache when trying to add items to your cart and when you go to check out, the app logs you out or deletes your cart.

There are typical glitches one experiences with the Ulta website. I also experience clicking on something from the web page to get around these glitches, and it's somehow connecting to the app from the web page. Truly infuriating and incomprehensible why it's switched from not having been so previously. Also, I have quite different experiences on the app depending on if I'm using Apple vs. Android. Mostly fine most of the time. Often seems to glitch during high traffic periods.

Update: It took 7 months, but as of today, the app is finally working again!!! It's still disappointing it took so long for them to fix it. 10/3/23: I've never experienced a large, reputable company having an app this consistently bad for weeks on end. I can't complete orders and my rewards points keep disappearing. Ulta is aware the app is malfunctioning but they don't seem to care or to be doing anything to fix it. I contacted customer service repeatedly and they told me to go to the store.

Installed the app for the first time to place a store pickup order. I selected my preferred store. On the completed order screen with the order number, it even showed the store I selected. But when I went to the store to go pick it up, the order had been sent to a different location in a different town 20mins away for no reason! Uninstalling for that reason.

I'd give zero if I could. Barely functions, can't pay my credit card in-app. Can't choose in-store pickup as a shopping option if something is sold out online but in-stock in the store (great for when they run sales to buy in-app for in-store pickup, but you can't choose that option, right?). In 2024, basic app function should be a no brainer and this one is stuck in like 2013. (That iteration may have actually been better.)
