This game has a lot of potential but there are a couple main problems: There are so many injuries to the point of having to go into luxury tax every year just to field a decent team. It's incredibly hard to upgrade your players cuz its all manual. Unless you pay real money its nearly impossible to really develop young guys. The trading is completely screwed up. It really only values players and not picks at all bc I put all my draft picks to get an 80 overall guy and it still wouldn't let me.

This is an awesome game! There are occasional bugs, occasional updates that I do not like, but, there's more good than bad. Customer Service is great. Monica is a pleasure to interact with, she's very fast with replies and will do what it takes. Spend the $3 for the upgrade, trust me. You cannot get a better GM game anywhere. I have this on every device and really enjoy playing. Every save is a completely diff situation so I'm never bored. 5 Stars!

Unlike the football, and much more so the baseball, management sims by the same devs, this basketball GM sim is not only fun, but it's much easier to assemble a good team and staff even if you don't spend a lot of actual money. I've spent barely $8 on this game since I started it a couple of years ago and I have built a playoff caliber team multiple seasons in a row and counting. I definitely recommend this one and the UFGM, though the latter is a little more difficult but still very fun.

I played about 30 minutes of the game, and there are some improvements compared to the first game. The UI in my opinion is better overall but it is too bright in my opinion. The ability to upgrade more facilities is a nice touch. The main gripe I have is with the new training system. Who thought that training points are a good idea? As a manager of a team, you're not in charge of directly influencing player development, that should be the coaches job. Also such a hassle because it is manual.

Similar yet different from the football version. This is much harder and requires more effort to produce a championship team. Only complaint I have is there is too many different offensive and defensive styles, it is almost impossible to gain an advantage through that. Especially with the coaches. Overall though, if you like sims or gm games this one is for you.

When I found out you made a basketball version of your football I was excited. But the game isn't nearly as good. Trade values are way to high. I shouldn't draft a player then he's worth 10 first round pick. 2 skill points system is stupid. You have a development trait and you have to spend skill points. I had like 10 injuries in one season. There are way 2 many offensive and defensive styles to choose from. The game went over detailed. It needs to be simplified to how your football game is.

Like this game and the Football game a lot. Both are really well done, and I am hoping that we will see other sports games in the future (Baseball, Hockey, Soccer, (maybe something else that no one is doing, European Handball)). My one advice would be add weather to football, could be a factor is swaying games between teams with good ratings and bad ratings.

This in some aspects is one of the best series of games (baseball) and (football too) however, the simulation algorithm or settings are absolutely ridiculous. I spend money and buy extra training points/money. The casual level is very realistic however in Challenging or Hard mode in GM legends, the simulation is absolutely horrible. I had the top ranked team by 5 points with the best players and coaches and then didn't even make the playoffs two seasons in a row???

Good game, entertaining, easy to pick up and play, and drop or pause with ease. Also connection ability offline is nice if you don't have service you can still connect and play normally. I play both this an the Football versions of this game and they're both very good, very detailed, balanced, fun to play. I wish more games were like these.

Been playing since early on (might have been around for its release?). Was happy to buy premium at the time. The existing elements of this game are great, but I'm unimpressed by the latest additions. The new UI isn't hideous, but I keep tapping where buttons were, not where they got moved. Haven't gotten to play GOAT yet, since I wasn't given energy after my season. Overall, the game feels like a soulless caricature, all in the name of squeezing extra money. Shame.

Such a good text based gm sim... Even better than the football version (it would be a tie if back ups played more in the football game). Either way, you can't go wrong with either game. Even the premium version isn't expensive at all and even though you can "pay to win", you sincerely don't need to with this game. My hat's off to the devs on this one.

This game is great, absolutely the best general manager game you could play out there, very fun and addicting, I just wish there was another "game mode" added to make it twice as much fun. However, I did see that when I was about to purchase more cash in the cash store, I noticed that there was a (add 5m cash if watch AD)same with the training points option, obviously I didn't want to turn down that offer but it won't let me choose this option, if it could get fixed that would be great. Thanks!

Love the idea behind this game. But holy cow is this really hard. It's like you're entering on expert level with it being extremely hard to train players, get good coaches, upgrade facilities, sign free agents, make trades, and even win games against lesser teams, unless.... *gasp* ...you pay to play. "Rest assured, you can 100% progress without making any purchases." Yeah, you can. As I said, it's just really hard unless you pay. And I shouldn't have to go to Reddit to figure it out.

I am a big fan if this series. Basketball is challenging and addictive. I recommend spending the 3 bucks to unlock all of the features. No further money need to be spent to enjoy the game. Note to developers: the "important email" aspect just slows the game down. Also, if I am out of the playoffs I would prefer to sim all instead of stopping each round. thanks for the great game

Took a little bit of a break from the game to keep it fresh as I have spent a lot of time playing this since its release. I came back and the training screen has been changed and it's taking away from that experience of the game. The old training mechanics were the best I hope this doesn't stick around and you guys go back to the old training screen

This new update is a bit dumb. Moving the salary cap so I have to tap on finacials is dumb. I personally think the complaints over pay is a bit silly, as I've built solid teams without it. I do recommend paying for the Basketball GM because is very valuable and gives more flexibility. Biggest complaint is the gap between skill levels, unless your completely unrealistic and expose the games mechanics and logic expert is impossible. The middle option is by far the best, still pretty difficult. 4/5

Edit: while I can't speak on ads as I purchased premium years back, I can say the gameplay is great. It's addicting and I love building a championship team. The reason I've come to lower my rating is due to how lazy and unfair the AI teams are. It's painfully obvious it keeps teams stronger than you, specifically in your conference so you can't make it out. I say lazy because how it achieves this: by spawning 90+ overall "undrafted" rookies to your conference opponents. I've wasted enough time.

New update takes a lot of the fun out of the game Update to response from dev, firstly glad to see you reach out, really want this game to succeed. I feel like the previous player training system gave you more direct control than the new system does. While I understand the desire to tamp it down a bit, the new development system just doesn't add enough of this feeling of direct control back. Maybe tying upgrades per season to a building IE lvl 1 gives 2 upgrades total lvl 2 gives 3 could work.

Personally, I've played both the football gm game and the basketball one. Both are relatively enjoyable, but there was a difference. In one, I decided to purchase premium, and the other I hadn't. It's shocking to me just how much is locked behind a paywall. I get it's pretty cheap to get premium, but I feel like some of the QOL features that are in the premium version should be in the free version. I understand why this is, but I'm generally not a fan of this kind of thing no matter the reason.

The game ia pretty fun, but it is definitely pay to win if you want to compete on the leader boards. $2.99 for the Win Pass seems fine, but with it only lasting 7 days I will never buy it. 30 days or longer would be better. Also some of the challenges don't work at times, so I can't move to the next tier of challenges on my GM. I train a bunch of players but never get credit for it.
