My main use is to mute tv ads when at my parents, or remote control the dish network box and tv. They have 3 remotes but always seem to set them wherever so you can't actually reach them from the chairs lol. It has many remotes and works well! No IR dongle needed in my case, the Unihertz Titan Slim has built in IR and this app was bundled on the phone.

The app is simple to use with the IR usb adapter. Just the app responsiveness can be improve when you start the saved infra red device config. It takes 1-2 seconds during initial discover of correct config with your infra red device. Apart then that all working well.

Update: since the update the app keeps force closing! I lost all my remotes. Please fix, great when it works. Wished my phones had the I.R blaster built in like before but this is a great workaround when working. I have a Samsung flip 6.

This is a good remote app for all type of appliances. I love this app. I have been using this app for 2 years. But there is one thing I want to suggest. In the adding remote wizard, all the remote functions works but once added, some of their functions went grey. I can't use it then. I'll give it 5 stars after this bug has been solved. Thank you!

Overall, this is not bad for a free app. Some items are incomprehensible (e.g. "Heat preservation"? "Booking bath"??) The setup process is tedious and non-intuitive, and button assignment is somewhat kludgy with limited choices for icons and text. The option for custom text doesn't seem to work. Nevertheless, this app and its accompanying USB IR transceiver do function on a Galaxy A52 5G. As best I can determine, the A52 doesn't recognize audio port IR blasters; thus, other remote apps won't work on this device. Despite its shortcomings, the ZaZa remote app does work well after it's been configured.

Works perfectly! Just plug in the IR blaster. So far, I have it connected to my Insignia TV and Xfinity cable box. All of the functions on the ZaZa app work great... Channel, volume, power, TV input, menu, etc. This is the app/product every spouse needs so they don't need to ask their significant other for the remote to turn the volume up or down constantly. Since no new cellphones offer an IR blaster available anymore, this is the product to use. Literally every option at your fingertips!

Has a wide variety of models but poor support for small brands, luckily it worked on the tv I use the most, an old zenith crt. Buttons can't be rearranged, at all, therefore I could not do the thing that I bought the ir blaster for! I'm going to have to ask you to just find another app with a manual code program or search option if you will be using this for anything but the volume buttons.

Paying to remove ads doesn't work. I've paid 2x. Buttons and controls are not able to be resized or re oriented... only moved around. Would look better on my folding device in landscape if the buttons could be adjusted freely. Is this chinese spywear? I thought it was a free receiver / blaster for DIY but the app doesnt work when you click "Buy Now". Looking at the Amazon reviews for this shows the app sends and receives all of it's data (a lot of information in the background also) overseas.

A great remote control for any device that you have. They have a huge catalog of codes ready to go, or it is possible to use your existing remote control and get the infrared frequencies and programmed them into this app. If your phone does not have an IR blaster you can order one on this site very easily at very little cost

I downloaded it it installed. I opened the app. It read my adapter. If then discovered my TV. I programmed for buttons. And it worked. I was able to enter menu options and set my TV up without the remote that I lost. This app is incredible. There have been so many many options that I've tried prior to this and none of them worked. This one did and it worked easily and fast. It is one of the most helpful apps.

Does not close permanently, may make phone unstable. I use Greenify, and it won't even close it permanently without an early development Island app. Likely means it's doing shady things like gathering your info for selling. Worked with my phone's built-in IR port, then mysteriously stopped almost immediately, and refuses to work without an adaptor. It doesn't work without internet access, very inefficient! I should be able to use it in airplane mode and save my battery! Uninstalled.

App works perfectly with iOS and my wife's 2012 model iPad. Plug the same very same dongle into my Samsung GS8 active, change all the advanced settings to make it work (volume up, audio reversal, macro key sending gap, sensitivity and smart zaza under ir driver setting) and it only recognizes it about half the time. Then, before I can even add a new device, audio reversal setting has gone back to default and I've only managed to turn my television off. Basically unusable on a device that is 6 years newer. Big problem.

This was once an absolutely wonderful TV remote - the only good one I ever found (still is a rare working one), and one that saved quite a bit of money on replacement remotes. Over the past two years or so, however, I've watched it be renamed (bought out?), adopt substantially more aggressive ads, and in general, rapidly deteriorate in quality. I suspect this is a causality of the decline of IR, but it is quite disappointing - two years ago, this was probably the most useful app on my phone.

The app is getting better, but the big problem is it will not properly save the remote configuration to either local or the cloud. Every time I exit the app I have to start over. This bug was supposed to be fixed in the 2.27.19 version, but it is still present. However, the developers are very responsive to email, that earns 4 stars.

Not intuitive. Use the DIY to edit the "remote" that you want fix. Note you have to do each button alone & find the old and replace it. Rinse repeat. Took 45 minutes to edit the buttons for a sound bar. Just takes way too long IMHO. The IR sensor in USB port you'll need to drag the adapter around. But the app does flip over so you can point it at the TV etc. It MIGHT work for you, but is not handy enough for daily use. 1 star for ease of use. 3 stars for edit and diy.

Works great with my usb ir blaster no matter what device I connect it to. Works on my Samsung s22, on both my Motorola edge and One Ace 5g as well as my generic android tablet too. Best remote app I have used so far. I love the feature that it flips your screen so when you point it at the TVs, roku or my BRplayer the buttons are the right orientation and everything works. Adding new devices is easy as choosing the brand then hitting the power button on the screen till it works

So I found the remote plug browsing through the shopping application Temu, so far I've been able to connect to all my old devices that I've lost remotes belonging to them and before obtaining this I had figured that I would never be able to fully use some of them because of menu options and needing a remote to navigate through them but this little guy is awesome 👍 and I'm really happy, thankful and relieved to own this now it's extremely easy to use well worth the cost and I recommend buying
