More About VA Rx Refill

The Rx Refill mobile application (app) allows you to request refills of your refillable VA-issued prescriptions, track VA prescription deliveries, view VA prescription history and access additional medication information on My HealtheVet from the convenience of your mobile device. The app works in conjunction with the Rx Refill feature within My HealtheVet, and refill requests submitted through the app or the My HealtheVet website are trackable using the app's Track Delivery feature.

Love the app and the interface. It is so much easier than logging into website and most definitely easier than phoning in a refill! That said, today I had to use the website; the app would not log me in. Kept getting message about problem on the app end.

symbols in the password. 8-1-2023 Same stuff, different day. Signal fine, password written down. Out of 25 tries, got logged on once, only to have a survey close the program. Still telling me I don't exist. And yet, I got on once. Sigh Can't log in. Have correct password, user name. Tells me I can't use symbols. Helpful, if there were any

Worthless. There's no point in having an app if you are redirected through the app to a website and have to enter your login info each time AND wait for a text to your phone to log in. At least Google chrome saves and automatically enters my PW and login info for me, but that's impossible with this app. Saving VA.gov as fav on chrome is actually faster. This is a waste of tax dollars at its finest.

This is the worst app I've ever had the misfortune of having to use. Ordered my meds on 3/26/24 and the system showed that my order was filled on 3/26/24. Checked on meds on 4/2/24 to see shipping data only to find out that they hadn't been sent and I complained to doc, then system changed fill date to 4/2/24. On 4/5/24 was able to get a week's refill at local VA (until refill arrives). System now has moved fill date to 4/15/24. What do you expect from a government run system?

Clunky and outdated. There's no valid reason this app's Rx features couldn't be rolled into the regular VA app, which (at least) features the faster Android fingerprint authorization login option. It's disappointing and ridiculous to have to use 2 apps to interact with the same government agency. Modernize, people!

It is a great app to be able to refill my prescriptions from the VA both from a list and from the barcode. it also lets me know how many refills I have left. It would be nice to receive reminders to renew and to have recaptcha, biometric authentication such as fingerprints, and other ways to sign on from the mobile app that are still secure.

I can't log-in & use the app. I'm re-directed to log-in through my web browser and the log-in process won't accept my biometric log-in preference when using apps. * If I'm forced to use my web browser, there is zero incentive to use this app, specially since it requires extra steps and time to load vs just using my web browser. I can do what I need to do through my browser, which I've insured is a secure process. On a positive, I do like the refill notification feature.

I'm not sure if this app is even supported anymore but it was working initially and now it just constantly crashes and comes up with errors every time I open it. However it does. Let me know when a prescription is due for refill but I can't renew it which is kind of the whole point of the app.

User friendly. Had zero issues, unlike other reviewers. I expected the app to be a Fail based on some of the reviews. Easy login with MyHealtheVet, worked on the first try. Large font for those w/ poor vision. Easy to refill, track, & obtain medication status (active, discontinued, expired), date of last fill etc. The app did not crash or freeze. DL from Google Play on Samsung s10. Maybe Apple users are having issues? If there are bugs, please report to the developer so they can fix.

it has a lot of unknown errors. so sometimes I have to click things multiple times to get to the page I need. sometimes the pages don't open at all. it needs work. it does generally do the job and submits my refills. I can also using the tracking in app to see where my meds are.

I've used the app only a handful of times to refill my prescriptions and only once did it actually process my orders. Every other time I used it it would never actually "process". It'll go through the motions, but when I check tracking, there's nothing. I'll call the number on the bottle and it'll say that it's available for a refill. Downloaded it for convenience, but it's way more of a hassle than anything.

Similar design to the MyHealtheVet website, so transition to the app didn't have a learning curve. Simple design that's easy to use. No ads or clutter like the CVS app makes this exponentially nicer to work with. Legal mumbo-jumbo is all there but it doesn't interfere with use of the app; just scroll down. Thanks, VA IT team!

The old system was more user friendly. The newest is challenging... Why make a switch that makes life more difficult... Why couldn't they be secure as they are now but once logged in, appear with the previous format?

App not formatting correctly even tho I have tried browser and mobile display settings. Fonts over type each other and yields an unreadable text. The tracking page came up blank even tho in the original MyVet page I can see a current delivery. Wish this would work and still have hopes for it tho the old system let me retrive email/mssgs to and from physicians.

I expected this app to not work at all, so I was pleasantly surprised. Working perfectly for me, using myhealthvet login (haven't tried DS login yet). Simple, to the point, & is displayed nearly identical to the web version. 👍👍 Incidentally, I'm well aware of the VA website's shortcomings (!). To that end, this is a well developed app for the purposes of filling /reviewing prescriptions.

the app can be very handy, but every couple of years or so, they keep changing the way you log in. about the time you get used to how to do things, they change it again. very frustrating. I wrote this while waiting for a text, so that I can get into the system, and reorder a prescription.......still waiting. 😒

This app has essentially been useless. I installed it on my phone so it would be faster to fill my Dad's prescriptions through the VA. After a very long hassle with being able to create a login at all I can now log into the app, but I can't do anything with it. All I get is a popup saying "The User is denied in RxRefill" No clue at all how to fix this. The app also says No Internet Connection, but according to my phone there I have a strong connection. 1 star for taking up space on my phone.

Nice app that allows you to avoid the dreaded voice recording. Especially if you have to order refills for multiple medications. I'm glad someone finally acknowledged the need for an app like this one. It definitely makes ordering your refills a lot easier plus you can check on a refills current status if you haven't received it after a few days.

Not sure why anyone would down-rate this app. It does exactly what the website does but faster, especially in low-signal cell coverage even compared to trying to use a browser. I hesitate to say this, but the VA finally got one thing right in my 30+ years of experience with them. I know, I know... the app will now self-destruct and never work again... just like the VA computer systems, inter-state VA communication and VA doctors. SSDD.

This is a new way of ordering authorized prescriptions but the interface isn't as clean as it could be. It had me guessing about what item I looked at. There's quite a lot of information in given boxes so multi or dual colors should probably have been used to assist the user with discriminating data. Most apps are but glorified shortcuts to an end game and this is one of them for sure.
