Finished Act 4 without the needed heroes by completing the tasks. Was relieved and annoyed that the Hunter showed up at the last minute. The heroes collected couldn't be updated, so there were fewer workers, and they were all starving and slow. There has to be a way to gain hero cards quicker. To just gain one card takes forever. Then, to update them, you need anywhere from 1 - 5 more cards! Impossible to do. Even if you spend gems on the Advanced hires, you don't get a new hero card!

I'm absolutely loving the game so far. However, I have the worst luck, I swear. Like any good city game, food is a limiting factor for your village, and I swear I can't draw any of the heroes related to food production to save my life. My luck is just that bad. But I'm really enjoying the game and am constantly checking it throughout my day every few hours. I should mention there's plenty of chances to get free draws, and earning gems is a breeze so far, so I do a lot of drawing for the heroes.

So far, it's a really good game. Similar style games that came before this one, lock you into the tutorial and keep you from upgrading buildings past a certain point until you complete a specified number of steps in the tutorial. Yet this game doesn't do that. The story is also very good. Please continue to make further developments for the game, I'm looking forward to seeing what it becomes in the future.

The game quickly becomes a "Pay-2-advance" as the only way to make any progress it is to buy the characters or literally wait 3 days to upgrade 1 building as you have to wait for the resources. the game had promise to be different from others similar to it, but ultimately it's the same as the rest of them.

Edit: So it's been a little over two weeks since I made my first review and I must say I completely forgot about this game until just today, I would scroll through my downloaded apps and pass this up quite literally every time and end up playing something else. It's just not engaging enough to keep my attention and being a time gated game doesn't help. I still love the art but the voice acting leaves much to be desired. Many voice lines lack obvious direction or have multiple mispronounced words

This game is so delightful so far! I was expecting yet another game that had humans and vampires fighting against each other, and it doesn't shy away from referencing that, but so far the game has had them working cooperatively in their beautiful environments!!! Genuinely really enjoying the story and how beautiful the game is. Holding off on giving 5 stars just as ive only played for a little while and the character designs haven't been very diverse so far, but I have hope.

It's an ok AFKer. I am at the point now that I absolutely need one of these heroes to be upgraded, but I can not for the life of me get 2 of the cards for them. My townspeople are starving, and I can only have one person working there because the hero is stuck at lvl 20. The upgrade to add ONE more person to the kitchen is lvl 25. It got old fast. Yes, there are offers to get them, but it's NOT guaranteed.

Good gameplay, decent writing, good game. No forced ads, possible to win without spending $$. Problems: bundles INTERRUPT GAMEPLAY to shove into your face. I am complaining about getting free stuff bc the way it's presented is disruptive. Events aren't bad but are too short and rotate too frequently, feels like what I do there doesn't really matter. Wish it was offline. Also, petty, I don't like the slooow zoom in every time I open the game and I can't turn it off. Otherwise, really good game.

Not too bad, although it can be tricky if you don't get the hero card you need. Just finished 3rd village but was constantly struggling with food since I had hunting hut at max level but couldn't get the hero. A lot of just waiting for resources. Your villagers are slow at gathering. So just popping in every so often is enough rather than constant play. Needs more content because I'm finished so far at 3rd village.

It's an alright idle builder, but it has some major drawbacks that become bigger issues the further you progress, especially if you play for free. Your max idle earnings cap at 2hrs, which is the lowest I've seen for an idle game. Not only do you need to have the right heroes to keep production levels viable, you also need to keep them upgraded - a lvl 40 hero that gets you 3 extra workers in Act 1 gets you no extra workers in Act 5. And you just don't get the upgrade resources fast enough.

The game is good. The monetisation is fair and definitely helps (I would only really recommend purchasing 5* heros but it's also not required. My biggest gripe is that loading takes forever and you have to reload way more frequently than I would like. Anytime you switch game modes for more than 2 mins requires you to reload. Which wouldn't be bad if it wasn't a ~30-60 second process. That sort of loading time is fine for booting up the app for the first time in a bit but not mid session.

The game itself has great graphics, nice storyline, and interesting characters. It's one of the best idle games I have played. BUT, spending was a mistake. I bought the weekly pack, some of the micropurchases (and there are many) and a larger gem pack. Now I have completed Act 6 and there is nothing I can do until the event. The event is won by those who can spend the most gems on the wheel spin. 20k gems isn't enough to win. Play realistically and you won't be disappointed.

We really wanted to play, but we're stuck in a glitched tutorial. We can't get in the game without getting swarmed with click noises and being forced to close the hero window multiple times, and then no buttons respond; building, settings, nothing. All of our 4 villagers are angry. We have no materials left to upgrade the hero because we already upgraded him as far as we had currency before we got stuck. Please fix this.

This game is a fun idle town-building game. The Story is good, and the gameplay is good. I don't like how Heroes are essential to gain resources and unlock slots in buildings. It's worse when you unlock a new chapter and none of those heroes carry over. The draw rates are too low, and making a SinglePlayer into a P2W is greedy to the max. I do not recommend this game currently.

Graphics are amazing. Storyline is interesting and unique. I was able to get help resetting my progress via the Discord group. Which was a relief because I couldn't do it myself on the app (only reason for 4 stars instead of 5). Game is very generous with resources. Not sure long-term, but I haven't spent a buck so far. I really hope this game sticks around for a long time because I'm adoring the management gameplay and the story itself.

Asks for rating not long into the game. I'm not sure if I will enjoy it or not yet. Typical city builder with upgrades that have timer. Short timers thus far, but I'm sure they'll get much longer as it progresses, and I'll lose interest. Also, I'm not sure if there's any sort of PvP or ranking that would cause me to lose interest... so we'll see how this goes. So far, no annoying advertisement spam.

Fun game. The problem is it's PACKED with in game stores and pushes tons of micro transactions. I generally don't mind that, however, I got through all of the content in a day and only spent a couple dollars..some time later, still no new levels after act 4 even though they continue to push weekly subscriptions, $ events, limited-time purchases etc. It feels dishonest to push so much purchasing when they literally haven't developed enough content to spend what you buy on..much of anything.

It has a good start, and an interesting story. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous - my absolute favorite part about the game. But like other reviews have stated, it's difficult to make any progress after act two. The heroes you earned up to that point become irrelevant (not sure if they come back since I havent gotten that far) and the one you need (the hunter) is super difficult to get. Plus some of the story beats seem to be missing or out of order, at least in my game.

Cool game & what I've been looking for. But, a critical hero available since beginning can't be drawn. Now on Act 5 & stuck because of the missing hero. I did purchase advanced metals & put that hero on the pick a hero list. After over 200 draws, drew every hero but that hero. Uninstall because I can't pull the missing hero and progress keeps resetting when I exit. No reason to play if I can't advance and no customer service available in game only Discord. Not a Discord user and won't use it.

It's disappointing that it doesn't load at all without absolutely perfect internet connection (and sometimes not even then). Weirldy only works on my own wifi??? Makes the game pretty useless unless I'm at home. Otherwise, it's a good time. Love the aesthetic. Campy but fun voice acting. I appreciate the effort in the scenes between characters despite some pretty chat GPT-sounding dialogue.
