I use this app to monitor the arrival of my child's school bus and the delayed location is concerning. It'll say it's in one area while physically see it elsewhere. That's not helpful when students need to know the location of their bus. My child has missed the bus several times because of the incorrect location it shows. Very annoying especially since their school is on the other side of the city.

This app no longer works with the most recent Android update. My phone updated about a week ago, and during the update process this app was automatically uninstalled. When i try to manually install, it acts like it's reinstalling, and then I get a message at the very end that it can't be installed. Very frustrating that I can no longer track the bus. Please fix, asap.

Just did an update on my Android 22S Ultra and the app disappeared from my phone. When I tried to re-download the app it would show as downloading then show as if I never asked for it to download. Made a few attempts and all ended without downloading the app. After this I saw where others have had a similar problem. I would also like to add that when I did have the app it was very glitchy, not always accurate and would frequently freeze.

The old app my school system was bet precise work the location of the bus. This "upgrade" is never accurate and the bus location jumps all along the route. I've watched the bus drive by a location while the app still showed it blocks away from being there. It was like this with my old phone and my new galaxy s22. Edit. Now that Android updated, the app stopped working. I called the developer and they said they are aware and have a fix ready to roll out. That was two weeks ago.

It worked for about 3 days. I thought it was pretty neat. Then it started saying "No active routes" after logging in. Clearing cache & re-installing did not help. Then it stopped letting me login, saying "Could not authenticate user" which is different than wrong user ID / password (I tested it). Clearing cache & re-installing did not help with this issue either. I'm done.

The new update completely ruined the app. Sometimes, it won't let me sign in. The main problem is that I can't zoom in or out. Whenever I try, it glitches and switches between my bus and my stop. I tried restarting my phone, tried powering my phone off and that just made the glitch worse. Another problem is that I have sisters and I can't use the drop down menu to select my sisters to see their bus. My dad has had some of the same issue.

Update in Oct 2022 - The prior issue for Android has been resolved. I find the timing to be spot on with tracking my children's busses and no further issues with the app. Rank updated to 5 stars. Sept, 2022 - It was great until the latest Android update a few days ago. Now my app has disappeared from my device and will not allow me to reinstall it from the app store. Once this is resolved, I'll give a higher ranking. (Gave 2 stars)

8/16/22 Android 13 completely broke the app for me. Rarely had problems prior. Installed android 13, phone restarted and the app was gone from my phone. Searched it up in the play store and hit install. But I get an error every time it downloads now. Had to pull my old phone out of the drawer that is on Android 12 to be able to check for the bus. 10/13/22 App is finally able to be installed and is working correctly. Took almost 2 months which just seems crazy. But at least it's working now.

My phone updated and the app disappeared. I've tried many times to download and install the app again, but it won't install. The issue is with the app itself it seems. That's a shame because the app came in quite handy. It's a pain to be without it. If the app maker isn't going to fix this, I sure hope the school system switches to a system that works for all/most phones.

As a student who uses this app, it absolutely is terrible in many ways. Sure, it helps me and my sister figure out when and when not to leave the house because our bus driver is always coming at different times on the same week, but just making the log in screen go away after a "Software caused a connection abortion" pop-up just proves how much help this app needs. It should be suitable for ALL phones. Yet, it doesn't work at all. So much for using this app every single school day.

As many others have suggested these changes would help many people's experience: 1) show a local time stamp (or how many minutes:seconds ago) the last position update came through. Since you estimate the arrival time based on the last location it loses accuracy every minute that goes by. 2) give us a simple refresh button so we don't have to close and reopen the app to force an update (which for some reason is necessary often it seems). This is 2024, it's lame to not have that.

If I had a choice to use a different app I would. The school district we are in uses this app and can't help update it or fix problems. The GPS tracking is off by A LOT. The lagging is about 5 mins behind. The app hasn't been updated or have any reviews acknowledged since last year despite several complaints from parents and the school district. I do hope there is a significant improvement by the start of the next school year.

Complete garbage. This app is unstable, inaccurate, slow to respond, buggy as hell, doesn't refresh consistently, and has no manual refresh button. Poorly designed, half-assed, not properly tested, and completely unreliable. It's basically just a GPS tracker, how could you mess it up this badly?

8/15/24 : nothing has been fixed! Update 1/9/24 : app now not working at all!! Log out only to get a blank screen that won't let me log back in. I've tried Uninstalling, nothing works. This is the worst app with the most problems for me It Uninstalled itself after the latest update!! I cannot get it to reinstall either, despite the app saying it should be compatible with my Android phone and the newest version. I need this to track the bus! Please fix ASAP

Worst transportation app! It has never worked. Students aren't signed up for the correct schools. App doesn't show where the bus is in real time or it doesn't show the bus actually moving on the map. It has no notifications for parents to let them know the bus is within a certain distance of pick up/drop off location. Our county's decision to move to this app from the previous app was a complete mistake.

Upgraded to Android 13 and this app was removed from my phone. Try to reinstall through the Play store and it won't install the app. I need this app on my phone to track my daughter's bus. There is no if ands or buts about it. Please fix New school year and a week in and the app does not work. It can't connect to the database. School system is aware and working with Versatrans. But this app and product stinks. It is inconsistent. Come on VersaTrans, do better!

Update: this app just doesn't work majority of the time. Even the website provided by our school doesn't work. Great if/when it works. The problem is that it doesn't always work. It seems like there was an update recently due to a changed look within the app. Ever since then I've noticed that it says no student found half the time. Additionally, it's usually a bit behind on the actual ETA of the bus. By a few minutes.
