Company was great the first year or so, then they switched to some new plans and everything is messed up. They updated their coverage map without telling you so places you used to have 5GUW coverage barely gets an LTE signal and when you try and tell them they make you feel stupid saying things like "is 5G enabled on your phone?" Then INSIST on going through the process of "turning it on" when it's been on the entire time. Horrible customer service, horrible coverage, horrible communication....

You get what you pay for. Only has 5G very rarely even though I live in a fairly big city. Forget about using data if you're moving faster than walking pace. It's supposed to update automatically, but it never does. So, out of nowhere, if I'm out and about (without wifi), data will be non-existent, nothing works. You have to find wifi to update or wait 30-45 mins using cellular data to fix it. Then, you have to take out and put back in your sim/eSim. If it weren't so cheap, it would get 1 star.

Update 2024: Internet connection blinks on and off like a turn signal. Phone signal strength never exceeds 3 bars and every day there is 10- 60 minutes with NO SIGNAL. No help from "support" Price was great and started out with good phone service and fair internet. Now there's no internet at least an hour every day, and sometimes there's no phone, either. They're "techs" tell you they'll look into and that's all it. Nothing happens. Service is getting so bad it's no longer worth the price.

Throttled speeds. Switching to t.e.l.l.o. Tried for a month because it was finally an affordable option to be on Verizon . Not really. Multiple speed test done during all hours shows how slow speed is. Videos load slow with the spinning circle of death. Sending videos even short ones or even uploading is terrible. Dealing with customer service is also a nightmare. All in all not worth the deal. Switching as soon as my month is up. No refunds if you cancel anytime if signed up with the promo.

It's confusing. The plan is great. The customer service and app and bad. Scrolling in chat doesn't work right, and jumps up in the chat when switching back and forth between apps. And you can't get booted from chat too easily. I wouldn't need to switch apps if the customer service people were faster. I tried telling customer service about some of the other issues, but they don't care. One rep was insulting actually

Can't view payment history but otherwise app is fine. For me Visible's standard plan is a good deal at $25. More than that I'm shopping. I've had no issues with calls or texts. Signal strength and speed good enough for me. They offer a free trial so you can see if it's good enough for you. If not, they and other carriers offer faster plans for more money.

Visible was awesome for about 8 months, absolutely loved the speeds and hd calling. About a week ago I lost service completely, oh I drive a lot, maybe a glitch. Today my wife's service went out completely. Unacceptable 👎🏾. Plus their now starting to prioritize Verizon customers over Visible users, capping speeds even if on the top tier, main reason we left Cricket. We're gone, thanks for the ride.

My customer service and activation process was so poor, that I decided NOT to switch carriers, despite a rock bottom promotional price that was locked in for 2 years. Nah, I'd rather pay more money somewhere else than deal with the BS I was dealing with simply to try and activate with a new number (instead of a port). Oh, the app sucks too (and the network isn't what it's hyped to be - VZW has fallen HARD). Don't get suckered by the low price, you can barely self service, and CS is worthless. FU

Never recommend to anyone!! Slow network and I'm being threatened to have my service cancelled if I don't upgrade my phone. I would never have switched from Boost Mobile if I knew visible was gonna do this to me. I'm not the only one and the only thing visible has to say is " Sorry about your bad experience, contact us at this website to talk with us". Yeah very helpful. I'm going back to Boost Mobile. And they have an app update at least every week, so annoying.

I switched to visible and have not had any complaints with the service at all. The switch has cut my bill in half from my previous carrier and the switch process was seamless. Prior to joining the customer representatives were knowledgeable and friendly which made my choice to join visible even easier. I guess my only wish would be that they offered more variety with the phones they support.

About a month in, and so far I've had a good experience. WiFi calling works perfectly for me, so I'm thinking the other reviewers complaining about WiFi calling have issues with their WiFi, not issues with Visible. Data can be spotty at times, but I knew I'd be deprioritized when I signed up. Well worth the lower cost of service. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update. 18-MONTH UPDATE: Nothing has changed. Service is good. Had to use app to disable 5G, though. 5G never works.

I've had this service for about 4 months now, and I cannot recommend it to anyone who can afford something more expensive. There were countless times where calls dropped on pickup despite having full bars. Yes, the internet is uncapped and abysmally slow with full bars. Now then, this is my experience with the $25 plan. I'm not sure if it gets better with the more expensive one, but I'd rather switch to something else that I know will work for the same price.

cellular service is excellent. data speeds are great. the only issue I have is the app feels very "clunky". for example, when I use the app to pay my bill, I press the pay button and there is no confirmation. no "please wait." nothing happens. so I start smashing the pay now button a ton of times in rapid pace and finally goes through. I understand it was probably pending after the first press but the lack of confirmation or dialogue really makes impatient people like me more impatient.

Sales staff, crowds, easy to understand cost, and billings. Phone pricing is the same as everywhere. total annual bill, yes, you can pay annually. Cost is less than Verizon. There are add ons, BUT NO 3 YEAR CONTRACT. Bring your own phone. Plus, I did it all from my easy chair. Order phone and subscription, phone delivered next business day. I went eSim, so there was no sim change out. I was set-up and operational in 30 minutes, INCLUDING TRANSFERRING MY DATA AND APPS.

It's nice to have an affordable phone plan, especially as a single person and I've rarely had any issues with service for calls or data. However, If you travel internationally, though, make sure you have coverage! (I went to Canada and had zero phone or mobile data available. I could only use apps while on wifi)

Throughout my relationship with cell phone service and providers, Visible has been the best I've ever had 😊 The only regret was not switching sooner. The plans are perfect- no sharing data or "must have at least 4 additional lines" price/plans. I pay $36 for my line (no hidden fees or taxes) and unlimited has been truly that. Also, bonus... the store has enough selection to satisfy my phone needs and wants🥰 I recommend Visible to anyone that will listen (and I tend bar at 2 different bars😬)

Would give zero stars if possible. While waiting for SIM card to arrive, I tried to log into app using same email and password that works fine on browser. App keeps telling me they are wrong. Spent tons of time chatting with support 3 times, no help and no one else to contact to fix it. So I can't even activate the service now that I have the SIM card. Beyond horrible customer service. Glad at least that I found out before activation, but what a pain.

Transferring your line, especially without a normal customer support representative, is difficult. If that fails, your only reprieve is the email associated with the account and you better hope that Visible will send emails that you can receive. Otherwise, you risk the chance of losing your number forever. Thank goodness that Verizon was able to step in and re-port in the phone number without any assistance from Visible. Nightmare of an experience

very well priced. uses VZW service. But signal goes out often and I drop a ton of calls. So happy but not so happy. Love the price. the service is a little janky. I do pick up 5G on and off back and forth to LTE at my house. sometimes the 5G pops up. Update almost 2yrs later: Visible has gotten much better in my opinion. They have the 2 main choices. $25 and $40. Most would be perfectly fine with the $25 especially since it's unlimited. $40 has some Xtra doodah's most wouldn't even care about.

Unbelievable experience. First mobile data just slows to a crawl. Can't do anything. I need my connection for work and start chatting with an agent. Turns out it was a bot that decided it was best to start resetting everything and doing all this nonsense leaving me without ANY service for a good minute. Finally got that back and mobile data is still slowed to a crawl. Phone service is basically a utility, and I don't have issues getting electricity when I need it. 100% unacceptable
