A very good app for class lectures. I use it to record very long lectures and it is very useful that can store it in other sections of my phone and if I am sitting in the back it's very easy to adjust the microphone sensitivity. Overall wonderful concept and extremely useful! However I would like to ask if it is possible 2 get a section of the app to transcribe to text the audio file it would be extremely useful for note taking. I would definitely pay for an app that does that because I still have not met a app that it's able to record lectures as well as this app and that little addition would make the app even more better

Love this free app on prev phone, installed latest version on new phone & it still works great with features I appreciate like: choice of file type & storage location, save choices upon stop recording, easy file actions within app (filename change, etc). I am missing a good feature tho, and not sure if gone from this version or I just can't find it? I had been able to start/stop recordings from phone's lock pull-down. Now, that's info only & it takes so long to stop a recording after screen dark

I had used this a few times in the past with no problems. Today I used it to record an extremely important meeting and even though the app shows having recorded for almost two hours, when I play the recording it is only 22 minutes long and more than half of that time is silent. I am devastated to have lost what I recorded. DO NOT TRUST THIS APP FOR ANYTHING IMPORTANT!!

I actually do rate u 5 ★'s not becuz u asked us 2. I like the way ur recorder is better becuz I can rewind 2 certain place in my lecture of my class easier than the recorder that came w/ my phone. I wish it could record while on the phone, then u can play back afterwards. I wish it could rewind a little bit easier, but Hell 4 free can't complain right? ☺️ Keep making it Great Bro or Sis (whomever the programmer is male/female)! This is an awesome recorder so far! Keep up the Great Work! Thanks!

This app used to be 5 stars BUT now when you are using different apps on your phone or even if your phone goes to sleep, it stops recording! There have been plenty of times where I thought I was recording but when I went back to check it either stopped recording overall or recorded but nothing actually was being recorded if that makes sense. I am highly disappointed at the "upgrade" that was done to this app. B4, I used to record for hours and it recorded no matter what I was doing on the phone.

Free! Better Than Apple Voice Memo! I just switched from the Apple iPhone 12 Pro & this app was on the Play Store for my new Galaxy & it surpassed the capabilities on any previous iPhone. 1, it's incredibly easy to use. 2, it's free! 3, it's capturing of sounds was superb & crystal clear + loud, way better than Apple. Lastly, unlike Apple, when the screen goes dark and it will stop recording this app can continue for hours!

You can't add to a recording once it's complete. Also, when you stop a recording you are asked if you want to name it, with the options of "ok" or "cancel"; both options do the same thing (they both save the recording, so you have to go back through your library and delete any false starts). 3 stars though, because the sound quality is excellent and you can save to an SD card.

I've been using this voice recorder for a couple of years. it has served me well during this time and I would highly recommend it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I recently needed to replace my phone. Both I and Verizon tech support found it very difficult to save the files to Google cloud and even harder to put them back to this app's library where they needed them in order to be together with the new recordings.

overall very effective and works well. no glitches or anything. it has very few ads which hardly get in the way. very simple and can be used for anything to voice memos or myself as a composer to help not forget good musical ideas. you can title your recordings so you know which is which. i wish though that the past recordings were more easily accessable though. that's my only feedback

I needed an instant way to record my voice for a concept that I didn't want to forget. I went to the app store and downloaded this in 5 seconds and was recording in as much time. He is a free programmer who asked for a fair review, however I didn't hear my playback yet. now that I've heard it here is my review: 6 STARS!!! It records and plays back, just what I needed.

This app picks up voices so clearly its unbelievable! I am a mystery shopper. I had an idea to record my interactions for referencing instead of trying to remember the conversation. I honestly didn't think it would work correctly, or record long enough, but when I reviewed my recording, it picked up EVERYTHING, clearly. From of my pants pocket! I normally hate reviewing apps on here bc I usually don't feel strongly enough, but I must note, this app is very efficient!

The app is easy to use and's works well for my purposes. I am not particularly tech savvy being of the generation who Started getting computers in their teenage years so most apps are confusing and i end up deleting them. this app, however, was easy to figure out and use. it picks up my voice well and records accurately. I like that I can rename the files-that, too, was simple to figure out how to do.

I have been using this app to record audio for a kids book. Overall, it has worked well. It would be nice if I could go backwards to re-record after a mispronunciation or studder. I don't know if this app has that capability, so for now I record the section over from the beginning. My audio recordings are easy to share to the videos I am making. This is a great resource.

I'm a newbie person trying different recorders trying to see the one that is the easiest one to operate when we have choir practices. Many times. I also like to record different sermons of our pastor and guess pastors as well. The easiest to operate is the most precious to me not having the technology savvy business like . Simple is great for me, so over time, trying different ones gives me the choice to choose the best one for me.

Very easy to use, name files, find them and play. I posted the above a year or so ago. Hit my first furious can't-stand-this-stupid app experience--there is no useful help on how to trim a file. I CANNOT figure out how to select the portion to be trimmed. All they give you is three icons and pressing all of them accomplishes nothing. I accidently left on the recorder for two hours and cannot share it by email or Drive due to file size--I HAVE to delete 80% of this file and can't figure out how to do it. Google gives me nothing, even when I put in the (difficult to find) app developer name+ 'trim'. AAAARGH! I am downgrading my original five-star review.

You can't cancel recordings, forcing you to open the library and delete the file every time you make a mistake. Also, the files go to my music library so I'll be listening to my music when one of my recordings interrupts. No annoying ads as mentioned in other apps, though. EDIT: there are annoying ads now.

I just downloaded this app, and it works as advertised. It takes a little setting up and some experimentation to discover just how everything works. But it does work well. The recordings are good and clear. Editing is quite easy. Just remember to tap the little icon in the bottom right corner to save your edited file. The ads at the bottom of the screen are not a bother, however you will occasionally get a full screen ad that you have to close. There is a pro version to get rid of the ads.

I used to love this app, but recently it simply stops recording with no indication that it's stopped. This is very frustrating when trying to record dictation and meetings. I keep checking to see if there's a new update, but nothing, so I figured I'd report the problem. Until this issue I'd have given it five stars. Until it's fixed, that drops to one because of the problems of recording failure.

First attempts are very good. Controls are simple and you should be able to begin using this app effectively within 60 seconds of looking at it. It's very intuitive. I've not yet worked with editing or other functions. For a free app, you might not be able to do any better than this one. There are tiny in app ads at the bottom. They do not interfere in any way with functionality which is something I greatly appreciate. Give this very fine app a try.

i use it to verbally record any passing thoughts, ideas, and memos that occur spontaneously, when I am otherwise unable to with pen and paper -- and im soooo grateful for the utility of this little app!! it has been very reliable, user-friendly, and has exceeded my expectations. it totally blows all other voice recording apps out of the water.
