This app records things ONE CANNOT LISTEN TO ONCE IT'S RECORDED!! A USELESS POS! Either use a different app or buy a voice recorder. Don't be a frustrated user like me who used this to record story ideas for my podcast AND NOW I HAVE NO ACCESS TO THEM!!! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT. STAY AWAY!!

Though there are ads here and there, what else can you expect from a free app? They've got to make a revenue somehow, seeing as they are all unobtrusive and don't obscure the layout or any controls I'd say that this app is definitely worth a try if you need anything recorded quick and easy. Good stuff, honestly.

Wonderful! No complications. Simple to use and intuitive. I've tried many others and they feature you to death. This just makes great recordings and is easy to use.

Overall a great app, but lately the part that counts how far along the recording has passed is glitching, for example the recording is 1 minute long, and as it's playing it goes forward one second and comes back again, and forward again and backwards again, so when it actually ends it's only really been 30 seconds

I seldomly felt a need to use this app since install a couple of years back. Maybe 6 times. Last one was of vital legal importance. Played back all 11 mins ok (bit distorted but adequate). So, I moved it into a special folder within the app along with 3 others. Now, ALL OF THEM are UNPLAYABLE! I hit play and it goes directly to Spotify musiv app(?!) and Spotify says I can't play it without a paid subscription. Huh? I suspect some collusion between EZ Voice Recorder & Spotify. Find another app!

Use to work great, but acts funny after last update. I use to be able to play a recording with screen off and now it plays a while and stops randomly, reseting to beginning of audio. The timer slide bar sometimes stop tracking and will remain where it was when the audio stopped, even though audio plays at beginning. Can't edit edit more than hour long.

It surprised me that the audio was clean. Most apps have the static in the background but this app cuts it right out and just has amazing audio quality. It's EZ to use and is perfect for recording. I definitely suggest this app if you're new to recording or just want a clean cut. For a mobile app I am extremely surprised that it's as good as it is. Will be definitely using this app more in the future!

I am a music teacher. I have used this app to record students trying out for Honor Choirs. I love it! The app is so easy to use, edit, rename tracks & send practice tracks to students directly via the app. I have used the app near by and further away from the piano. It picks up the voice beautifully regardless of where my phone is placed. (App is on my phone). I would give this app 10 stars if I could!

It's ok at recording I guess, but I can't find out how to export or download recordings. I remember it being easy, but since coming back to it, I can't find out how. It's as if that feature has been removed. I checked if the version of the app I had was up to date, and it is. And my phone is just a year old. So this issue doesn't seem to stem from those.

Voice Recorder, for me, personally, is just a quick and easy app I can jump to when I need to make oral/verbal notes, but I also use it for practicing reading voice-over scripts that I'm auditioning for radio, television, feature film, industrial, animation, and video game productions. I chose this app because it isn't fancy, and I specifically don't need or want fancy. I need quick and easy.

Only records silence when on a call even if your call is using an external Bluetooth device (like a car)!! It appears that it's recording, but playback is silence!! Works fine for quick notes if not on a call!! It really needs clarified that it will not work properly when on a call! 2 important calls I needed recorded, but I found out too late I have nothing!

Sry but if I could put the Review Stars Lower than 1 Star, I would. This is a waste of space & doesn't wrk correctly. Plus it deletes recordings after a certain amount of time. I've lost to many recordings that was Very important. Did the same thing the few times I tried this App, hoping the kinks/bugs were fixed but even after all that time, nothing has changed. Not worth the time or space.

When u press record the music you are playing does not stop. Been looking for one that does this after the feature was removed every recording app I had or tried. Happy to have this app because now I can more easily explore my creativity on record without needing a second device. Also app doesn't close out when you screen lock or clear your app list. You have to save the file before you can close it so you can't lose ur work. Thats why I say that this is the best recording app for songwriters.

Best thing about this app is that it will continue recording with multiple apps open. If singing is your thing, you can put on headphones and it will record your voice without the music. And though it's Not meant to record phone calls, if you put it on with the phone on speaker, everything will be recorded flawlessly. I'd be happy to pay for this without the ads.

I have trouble exporting to folders, it could just be that I'm not very tech-savvy. But I did finally email my recording to myself from the app, and now I can use my voice recordings in my video editor app! But the most amazing part: when I wrote to them about it with their in-app helpline, they responded, within just minutes! These guys really do care!

This app is wonderful to have especially for Loved ones who may have a hard time with eye vision reading text messages. You can record your personal voice message crystal clear simply easy. You can also playback your voice message saving it and labeling it as well. I recommend Voice Recorder app to all mature ages. This is a great tool to have! Try it out... I guarantee you'll appreciate it!

Update Aug 2024: Ok 1st off the app is great! But it's declined in the past year: No longer plays continuously when screen is off. Main problem they have is NO customer service. Has feedback section which no one responds to. There's no apparent way to transfer ur files to ur new phone & still play them on this app. It's Sad that they don't offer help. But app is still very good for recording! Ps. Hate the random sexual ads as well.
