Doesn't mess around. No extra fluff to this thing. It records stuff (and you can rename, trim, save, and export the files), and it does that job really well. On top of that, it didn't ask for a review (like most apps do) until like 4 months in to using it, so that was nice. Usually apps are annoying about that. As for the ads, I completely forgot it had them because I so rarely use this app online, so look at other reviews for app intrusion if you live somewhere where data/internet doesn't suck

Although the recording quality is good if you need to transcribe from your recording when playing it back, this app is the worst because the recording will reset itself every time you pause it. Also when playing back a recording, every time it's paused a pop up ad opens in a new window and resets your recording to zero making transcribing impossible. I'll be looking for a new app.

Good app. However, sometimes, it won't allow the user to go back to the hpmepage to record. It will only you to gp to the recorded files. Sp, you will recordings in 2 places. Whatever is on the hpmepage does not transfer to the recorded files. The sound quality is great. However, the recording and storing functions are flawed.

I downloaded an early version a while back and then I recorded some vocals to files. then when I came back they had the pro version, I downloaded that one and it's even better! All the tracks that I saved were still in the files, so I can do a whole lot of other stuff which improve my recordings mostly from raw vocal to voice samples, but I can take those and then hear them over again.

It's a voice recorder app. It has decent settings for bitrating compression. It does a decent job of recording audio with post-processing. You could record a track with this. I mean, but it is a voice recorder. I don't even understand what kind of review people want either. It records your voice and this does or it don't this one. Does it pretty decent

So easy to turn on quickly. Way faster and easier than turning on video for those moments when you don't want to later say "oh I wish I would of recorded that" (in a proff. sense & meetings concerning my child's school or meetings for work ) I found success recording my 5 and 9 years old taturms etc. to let them hear later on . It's rly helped them become self aware and think before acting. Just a idea! Clear sound. Stays on while you do other things on phone w/o the apps sounds interrupting. A+

Bad, bad, omission!! Where's the hidden method to save the recording to a SD card or some where accessable/usable on the phone. I have version 3.18. If it's important enough to record then it needs to be saved to permanent secure accessible media. Your app description on Google Play states it can. The app records fairly well, it's a stupid omission, finish the build/job.

Definitely the best audio recorder I have ever used! I've tried so many different ones, just to pre recorded my hard rock music, and none of the other ones played back anywhere near ''good quality'' I was starting to lose hope, I tried this one as my last resort, and it works absolutely amazing! The quality is perfectly recorded, and the hard vocals are clear as day. Definitely recommend this one! And i will remember it for future recording.

Love this thing for quick captures of music ideas and verbal note taking. The interface is clean and classic with its big red button. No drawbacks. The ads aren't even that annoying haha, but I did eventually buy them off and don't regret it. Unless you want an all-in-one app that can also chop up your recordings and do other fancy stuff, this is the one.

Does not record phone calls and stops recording if you make or take a call while recording. I did not use for phone calls so that was okay. Recording was great, clear and no issues until I tried sharing. The file sizes were too big to just text or in most cases email. I ended up sharing some to my Google drive but it was inconsistent & took forever to upload, many times just quitting after uploading 75% for 2 minutes...very frustrating. Also as others have said, can't find files outside app.

The user interface is quick, simple and intuitive. Record, Play, Settings. That's it. That's all that's needed. I think one of the best features about this app is the different formats and quality settings you can set for the audio. A small feature I would like to see is that the default recording name is year-month-day- hours-minutes.

I like using it. However I find it really annoying I can't use different recordings at once for my ringtone, notifications and alarm. Meaning if I choose a recording for my notifications, ring tone or alarm, I'm only given the option to use the same recording for the others or the other default sounds that came with the phone. I can't use a different recording for each thing. Unless there's something I missed.

If you want to record audio once in a while, this app is good. It's great for quick recording for notes, to do lists, or conversations you need to remember later. Simple interface, and it has some options (recording quality, saving files) for those who need it without being complicated. Ads are mildly annoying, but they dismiss quickly.

LOVE IT. The recordings are very clear and balanced, even when people are at varying distances from the mic ... and I do not even have it set at its highest quality. It let's me record conversations in the room even when Bluetoothed to my earbuds. In case the developers read this, I'd love the option to not show the giffy of the"recording" on the bottom of the record screen - for some reason it makes some people nervous. Also, I ADORE the red color scheme but I also like gray, so being able to

App is very useful to me! Thank you! A few suggestions: 1) I am glad there is a remote in the notifications bar to pause or resume recording. However, using these options takes one back to the app screen, defeating the purpose of the remote. 2) If the playback mode also had a remote, this would be optimal. 3) One bug in playback: When the screen orientation changes, the volume is turned all the way down.

Great choice for a voice recorder. I tried a few and I like this one the best. Real time audio information on record (volume, activity) which is nice, good range of formats to record in - with many options to adjust file size and quality. Picks up sound adequately but that is more of a phone thing I think - I dont really need a gain booster (which this lacks) Ads.. whatever. Lacks an editor but just get a dedicated app for that. A solid choice choice for recording a lecture and sharing. Ty

I loved this program... Until I went to reinstall it. I had the full pro version and upon reinstalling, I have this app that is littered with ads. I have reached out to support twice now with no reply. It has been over 3 weeks, so...since I have NOT gotten a response , I'm reviewing this app poorly due to bad support and no communication. As I said in the beginning, it is a great audio recorder.

This is a great voice recording app you can email and share your songs or voice recording. The only thing that is missing is automatic backup. If you have to factory reset your phone or something and you lose everything. It's gone... Other than emailing it to yourself. The voice recorder this feature. Need to a backup feature to Google or something similar.

Latest update includes a feature to show ads that cover half of the screen... Over everything on the bottom half of the screen. Every time I open it. Every. Single. Time. And ad in a purpose-built window shows up juuuuuuust as I'm about to hit the record button. It covers just more than half of the record/stop button that's in the middle of the screen. Force stopping/clearing data doesn't help. Other than that, GREAT compression options. Wish the waveform display wasn't showing a denoised input.

This app has literally made such a tremendous difference in my life. It has served to protect me when I needed a covert recording method that would continue recording even when my phone was locked. It helped me to modify the audio quality so that I could generally record exactly what I needed for studies or for my YouTube productions. It is simple, straightforward, and has no bugs or glitches. I've never had a problem with it and after having used it for years I finally have to review it. 5 ⭐
