Excellent without distortion. Update: I've noticed some weird type of 'tunnel' sound when using with certain movie apps. As if it's coming through an echo-ing tunnel. Also, my volume is lowering itself significantly without any prompting from me. I'll turn it back up, it turns itself lower. I have a 2022 Moto 5G but haven't yet researched if Motorola installs an automatic volume control into their newer phones. I've never had a Motorola or ANY brand do this before now. It's kinda spooky 😦

Awesome, terrific, incredible! This is the app for sound boosting. I have tried so many others and they are so unpredictable and unreliable because they turn themselves off for no reason. This one never turns off unless you turn it off yourself. The Amplified louder sound is not muffled or garbled it is almost crystal clear. I have a Samsung Galaxy s22 flagship phone and I hate the low volume using this app I increase it to 125% and the sound is perfect and up to 160% perfect. Try this.

Works exactly as expected, and THEN some. I needed an app to use to boost volume while playing my guitar with my Lekato Bluetooth effect plug. It allows me to play background tracks through My headphones while also playing my guitar through the same headphones. The problem was the volume of the background track was too low. I downloaded this app and voila! I can now hear both my guitar playing and the audio track great, and nice and loud. Thanks guys! Haven't checked out any other features yet

Equalizer works! I use "deep" for Eva Cassidy songs because just the volume boost does not do her voice justice. Having various settings like "deep", "jazz" "pop". "rock" "classical" and "large" or "small rooms" makes a difference in the sound quality. This app deserves to be set above other volume apps; it would be 💥💥💥💥💥 if not for the foreground and background ads and trackers, 3 from Google 2 for Facebook, and no way I see to get rid of the ads by paying a 1-time reasonable fee.

This is the only volume booster I've found that increases every sound on my device (including all app volumes), without requiring the aid of an additional media player like most others. It has up to 200% sound boosting capabilities that can be controlled either inside the app, or with device volume controls; and for additional tweaking, an optional use equalizer with both bass and super bass is included on a separate screen. It's the best app I've found in it's category so far, hence 5 stars.

It is so refreshing to have a utility app that doesn't cram ads down my throat. I've used this app for months and I have yet to run into any sort of roadblock, ad wall, or anything. They just.. let you use their program without trying to relentlessly profit off of you. It's amazing. Good work, man. This is definitely worth supporting. Absolutely worth 5 stars. It's fluid, easy to use, never breaks, runs in the background fine, doesn't mess with battery useage, and DOESNT CRAM ADS IN YOUR FACE

Every time I open this app, I get the rate on Google popup. I turn it down otherwise I would have to give it a bad rating. I can see the potential in this being a very good app, but the music becomes distorted after playing it for some minutes. I use it to play my 100-watt & 130-watt ION portable speakers. I tried to send feedback but the Submit doesn't work either. So, I have no choice but to leave this poor review. *The best way to get quality sound is to customize your setting levels.

EQ works pretty well, so I'm glad for that. However, most of the rest of the app is just typical Asian psych effects. Left and right sound bar levels continue to bounce up and down even when turning off audio input, like a cheap car stereo. Set your phone volume to 100, and the app does not boost. Set your volume to less, and suddenly the app raises the volume appropriately when you "boost". I'll use it for now just for the preset EQ levels, but this one doesn't ultimately really boost volume.

It downloads quickly and does exactly what it says: BOOSTS the volume on your device. I have a cheap-o Android cell. On the higher settings, it BOOSTS the sound so much that the speakers buzz, and can't handle it. That's awesome! I put it on a lower setting, and can actually hear my music, loud and clear, without distortion and risking blowing my phone speaker. With nice speakers, it would work even better. You can boost it 1 % on up to 200%. You won't be disappointed. It works well. I dig it

I focused more on the equalizer portion of this app keep that in mind. It seems to cut out all the highs when using any presets, bass or messing with the slidings at all. The deeps (bass or lows) are faint as well. It's overall weird. I'm sure the volume boost could help someone, but it's just too much and not needed. Needs lots of work before I would suggest to anyone. Also ads are 2 part and long pauses. So overall low score

Not a lot of ads (or any at all when listening)amazing volume booster only reason it gets 4 stars is that sometimes it will cut out which again is fine but then sometimes it will continue to do it every minute or so which gets annoying as I am back to listening to music but it sounds a lot weaker without once you get used to it. And when you get into the 175 and 200 it makes a static sound for some songs but that is more bc of song choice. Really is an amazing app I hundo percent recommend

I am very happy with the Volume Booster - Sound Booster, it's been on my phone for quite a while, and I like your new Edge lighting and it seems to work also for other music players besides YouTube music and Spotify, because I listen to the other stations also, and I pair a radio that I also listen to; It boosts the sound right away and also it helps with the phone speakers.. * UPDATE * The extra skins are unattainable while using a VPN, and if you pause it to redeem them, you will need to rewatch the ads to unlock them after an app restart. Its decent. I'm unable to claim the skins you must watch an ad for. The reward granted button does nothing. only pressing back gets you off that screen and you don't get anything. I've tried it maybe six times, after app restarts and phone restarts, etc.

This is a good app, it boosts the sound, bass, almost everything to do with sound, I just suggest that the edge lighting feature had more modes like a colour changing that switches at the beat of the music or something like ceiling LED lights that fade into different colours, overall good app, the past few months I've been using this app I haven't been experiencing the audio cut that others are experiencing. great app!

Great app! I like that you can have it open up automatically when playing media off other apps like Spotify thru Samsung Routines (not Pandora tho, but I hope that they can add that function in the future). I also really like the edge lighting effect that works on top of other apps! It would be cool if it could forcibly display the edge lighting effect while the screen is off too. Good app regardless.

"Bass Boost" feature does not produce additional bass and really kills high and mid frequencies on my ear buds to the point that the music is inaudible. Terrible implementation of "bass". The rest of the app is really well done and has a lot of useful options on top of just being a FREE "volume boosting" app. The ads sit out of the way and are small, not very intrusive.

The app is decent, especially for a free app. That being said they are very close to losing one star because of the constant interruptions begging for a rating. If you the time, energy, and effort to create the best possible product you are capable of making people will automatically give, show, and share appreciation for whatever it is. Having to or feeling the need to ask shoukmld tell you all you need to know. Now improve the product until you no longer need to ask.

Ive been using this Xbooster for a few weeks with my Spotify, it works okay. Xboost gives my BT speaker a nice thump. Im using it on a Tablet, why the screen orientation won't flip horizontal is irksome. Also the app doesn't crash, but it disengages a few times per day. I checked my settings, doesnt seem to be caused by the OS or another app. I thought maybe its a demo & required $$ to keep it running, but I dont see an option to pay. Id go 3 stars if I didn't have to initialize the EQ so much.

I realized how attentive to my specific needs this app has portrayed, obviously I get that ads are needed to remain free. Appreciate the work/time put into this app; as well as the freedom to customize. I agree that you'd have to tweak the equalizer to get some of your specific genre types of sound, but nothing a little messing around couldn't fix~ Keep it up!~

I tried several, with the specific purpose of figuring out which was the best volume increaser. This one is it. Very minimal ad intrusion, honest buttons that do what they say, and performs exactly as it should. (OTHERS had more invasive ads, or tricked you by not directly executing what a button says it does, or simply didn't always work or got stuck, overheating my device and requiring a restart.)
