I am having issues with calls through the app being very spotty, I have also had clients tell me many times that I'm breaking up, which is very embarrassing. I do like the setup with small messaging on the app overall. I also don't like how tough it is to actually get help with issues such as my number possibly being spoofed, which makes me not only the quality but the security of their lines.

It does a lot of things well including calls, SMS, MMS. The one thing I want is a direct option to silence incoming calls. Sometimes I'm in a meeting and the built-in Android silencing option (pressing volume down button) doesn't work, and I have to reject the call outright or go full do not disturb mode on my phone.

I have a desktop telephone, but I use the app when I am away from the office. It has never been the most reliable app, but it would work about 75 percent of the time. I have been having connectivity issues with this app for months now almost every time I use it. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, but it did not help. What's the point of having the app if you can't send or receive calls. I am going to look into whether calls can be forwarded to the cellphone the old fashioned way.

Bluetooth headset had been working fine. Now it no longer works - I can hear the phone ringing in my earpiece but when someone picks up the sound switches back to the phone. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing worked. See other reviews with the same problem. Customer service very frustrating, almost impossible to reach a human.

This app is garbage. It is a sad excuse for a business communications app. The app has to be uninstalled and reinstalled DAILY so as to not just hang up on customers when attempting to answer a call. If you place a call it is then impossible to hang up. You hit the end button, the call screen goes away, but PAY ATTENTION as you will still be on the call and if you say anything, the person on the other side will hear you. This app makes it very difficult to work remotely.

Been using Vonage for some time now and the experience is so so. For the most part it works but usually there's a delay in conversation, sometimes short and sometime very long, to the point it's distracting. Also if you swipe the app away while in the middle of a call the person on the other end can no longer hear you. Truthfully, have never had a good experience with any voip providers, this continues that trend

Delena, I have the same troubles. I was told that this happens because the app is really better supported by using wifi instead of mobile data. I feel if there is an app why not make it comparable for both. If one is on the go the app should work just the same, especially paying it every month. The notifications do not pop up and calls are missed. Text messages come late. Not good for business. I was told to uninstall and reinstall the app. I hope it works better.

App works pretty well for what its meant to do. Only complaint is it seems to have "authentication errors" and doesn't keep my signed in. The app has authentication errors every now and again and I have to sign in every couple of days. It's a minor inconvenience and the only negative is that I have to sign in again which I don't mind, but it can be pretty annoying to some. The app works pretty well otherwise and your able to control the calls from the app very well.

The app is a disaster - it's slow, clunky, causes major lags during calls, drops calls out of the blue, has features that don't function (try getting a personal ringtone to work if you're a glutton for frustration), doesn't identify the difference between group & individual chat conversations...you get the idea. Far from the stellar tech they advertise. A complete disappointment.

Inconsistent and not conducive to efficiency in the office. We have spent tons of time trying get the app to work. Then you have all the issues with connectivity. Event with full strength reception on wifi it sometimes says it has limited connectivity. Not to mention, we have tons of calls where they can't hear us because of the voice recording message that starts every call. Many people think we are spamming them and hang up before we even have a chance to speak.

Overall great app and works well with the desktop version. However, after several minutes of talk, the app mutes and can't unmute it. And the app screen disappears during the conversation and you need to search through your apps to find it again. So clients could be talking and think you left the conversation because they can't hear you. Please fix this!! Thanks!

It works, but not great. Recently had to reinstall because all notifications were silent and I couldn't fix. No support for watches, my watch only tells me when I miss a call. I really wish it would start vibrating my watch with an incoming call, since my phone has been on vibrate for about 10 years. If that feature was added, I would up my rating, but as of now, it's just OK. Vibration has stopped working again...... It's extremely frustrating when you have to rely on this app at a job.

Overall, the app is fine. There is one big flaw, however. Using the app for phone calls when not connected to Wifi is unreliable, at best. As someone who is constantly going from jobsite to jobsite, I get irritated at how often clients tell me that I'm 'cutting in and out', and how often calls just drop entirely due to 'limited network connectivity', even though I'm in an area with abundant mobile network coverage.

Technically does it's job but with tons of bugs such as you can't actually see when someone is calling unless you switch to the app meaning I have to have it open on my phone full-time. Even if it's open and the phone locks you will not be able to see who is calling. Also the UI is very counterproductive in order to just dial a number for instance you have to switch to the phone tab and then click new call and then click new call again just to be able to enter in numbers.

I've used multiple different providers apps and most of them seem to be lacking in their most important function which is consistency. This app however has proven to be very reliable and it is rare that I have any issues at all making it receiving calls. Any issues I do have at this point can probably just be chalked up to connectivity issues, on par with standard cellular calls

This app has serious flaws for Android. I am using it on Galaxy S23 and it is not capable of controlling the phone enough to be useful. Even minor apps will override it and interrupt the service. If I have music playing, the app is not able to pause the music. If I am on a call through my provider and the Vonage app is running in the background, it is still not able to notify me of the new call. If I am near my computer and the app is running, the computer will notify me, but my phone will stay

Caller ID quit displaying incoming numbers or contacts. I spent several hours with support, they don't know what is going on, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, no solution. Perhaps an older version of the app, not sure what the issue is, it just started, I can't be the only one with this issue. Hopefully it'll be fixed, otherwise may start looking for another provider.

App freezes frequently when recieving a call. App conflicts with other apps and causes navigation and phone controls to lock up. Phone call settings do not transfer to this app, so none of the phones buttons will silence the ringer. Phone lock button does not silence the ringer. App causes over all system lag (I do not use this on my nice Huawei, just MotoG) and has issues writing over other apps. This app is invasive and glitchy, yet it manages calls extremely well.

My company recently switched to vonage and I have had a horrible experience. Currently our text messages aren't working and I have been told this could take up to 2 weeks to resolve! Also I don't always get notified when calls come through, sometimes it doesn't ring, and my voicemails don't come through until way after I miss a call. Overall it has been very frustrating, I hope things can improve.

Horrible to work with, charges extra fees for everything and hard to get a straight answer out of anyone when I'm finally able to talk to a person. Also will only send about 1/2 my photo messages. I have to resize all of them for any chance to get it to send. And frequently says unable to send/receive calls at this time for short periods of time throughout the day. Very frustrating.
