I've been able to book walks successfully, chat message with walkers and trainers, and view articles. I've experienced multiple technical issues. 1) virtual training audio very poor quality. Trainer and I had to put the speakers up to our ears to hear each other, and therefore couldn't do visual training. 2) after giving the walker/trainer a rating and tip, the app prompted me to go through the same rating and tip screens again. Once, I was sent through the rating and tip screen 3 times.

New notification feature is useless on android s8. They are truncated in the phone notifications list and go completely blank when you try to read them in the app. Between this and the really bad nonfunctional updates to the messaging feature over the past few months, this app is going downhill fast. Please focus more on getting the basic messaging and notifications working again.

You currently have a major bug issue. There seem to be several seperate issues going on. But I have never been able to get past the home screen of the app. Uninstalled, reinstalled, force stopped, tried shutting down all other apps, went through settings, etc. All with the same outcome. (I have downloaded old and new versions but its never worked past an initial review I left from a link and the home screen.)

App is totally horrible. When I can get the app to function, the service and walkers are great. App has different issue every time. Lately it keeps asking for credit card info for every walk, now after requesting a walk last night. The so won't even open. Just crashes. I've rebooted, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app still crashes so I have no idea if someone accepted the walk or not.

I'm not quick to throw 1 star around but this app is a horrible user experience. You're required to pay for the service before you even have finished the details about what you're looking for. The service is very expensive (like 2x what a reasonable cost should be). You don't get to talk with or qualify your sitter/boarder before you've paid, which is absolutely ludicrous. The app is riddled with bugs: I cannot cancel a service request or edit my address. I have been robbed of both time and $$.

great walkers, terrible app. cannot see walk map before tipping or rating walker. app frequently crashes mid booking sometimes resulting in several requests for walks that cannot be withdrawn, they can only be cancelled once accepted resulting in cancellation fees you have to contact customer service to fix. about 1/3 of the time the app just doesn't work. but again, all the walkers have been great.

The app doesn't launch once the code is entered. Instead the app gives a failure alert. I've installed, uninstalled, and installed again and the same issue. I was able to schedule a daily walker, and it's not reflected anywhere in my account. It is clear this app was never tested on multiple operating systems, hence the consistent reviews of poor quality.

The walkers are great, but this app is just so bad to navigate. It crashes over and over. I can rarely click on anything with it loading correctly the first time. I usually have to close the app 4 or 5 times for messages to show up. 6 or 7 if I want the schedule to load. It's awful. I would use anything else if I had time to figure it out. This is the worst and actively making my life terrible. Yes, I've updated. Auto update. It's possible that the platform just kind of blows.

The app is a buggy nightmare to use. I have never had so many issues in a single app. Every single time I open it, it fails to load something at least once. I have to restart the app 3-4 times in order to get through the process of ordering a service. I have to reopen 3-4 times before being able to see messages from caregivers. I can't get through the walk report without it freezing up and then it's difficult to locate later. How does a business that relies on an app have such a terrible app???

Mediocre App, Terrible website We NEED the option to add a second contact, and each contact should have the option to add at least two phone numbers to the profiles (ie; cell, work, spouse/partner, etc). App freezes and attempts to load for periods of time, quite often. I'd also like to see a bi-weekly scheduling option with the preferred dog walker(s). The app, especially the "cancel" button didn't work when I needed it to. Now, I'm being charged for a walk I didn't end up needing. Unimpressed.

They are very bad at replying back through their text message options. The app is not up to date. I have been putting the wag bandana on my dogs during the walk, and documenting it to get the extra 1$ per walk, and I never saw that money. When I called they said they dont offer that anymore, but the app still has the option for it. I was extremely disappointed to hear that. The app glitches all the time and it makes starting and ending walks extremely difficult and frustrating. I am not pleased.

The only reason it gets a star is because I found a good walker. Beyond that, I cannot recommend Wag at all. The Android app is TERRIBLE (the iPhone version was better) and it's VERY glitchy. For an app-based service, the app should function and not take months to fix glitches. For example, I couldn't edit my recurring walks due to glitches they kept telling me were being fixed over a period of 2 months, which means you have call Customer Service. While everyone there is polite and tries to be helpful, I ALWAYS had another issue added. I'd want to cancel a walk on one day, they'd cancel the whole recurring event, then I'd have to call back to get them to fix that. They'd try to transfer me to one department and 2/3 times would hang up, not transfer, so I'd have to start all over again. It's just...the idea is great, the convenience would be ideal if the app actually functioned well. For an app-based service, this is a huge fail in my opinion.

The actual service is great, but the app is garbage. It's extremely slow to load, messages sometimes never opens (which is pretty important when a walker is trying to reach me), and there's no way to turn off promotional notifications without also turning off notifications about the service I'm paying for. When the service works, it's great. It's just a shame that the app drags it down so far. I hope to one day be able to revise this review and say it's gotten better, but it hasn't in years.

I used to get notifications for when a walker was selected up to when a walk ended. I use the service when I'm not home with a lockbox. Afrer this latest update, I booked a walk and got 0 notifications AND saw no one was matched. To my surprise, I came home and saw someone had been in my house. I tried calling, emailing, filing a concern, and DM'ing WAG!. After 3 days, no response. Hate this app now and won’t use it unless fixed

A few of my personal opinions: Dog walkers are generally knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Timeliness can be a problem, as is following instructions. App needs optimization. Users cannot receive important walker messages without enabling constant ads. Walker reports do not pop up consistently. Occasional app crashes. Customer service is poor. A poorly trained AI generally offers circular advice. I'm used to it but try something else like rover first.

Truly terrible app. It's incredibly slow, lacks basic functionality (like easily opting out of walks on holidays), and it constantly closes whatever you're working on to ask you to review past walks. I have the same person walking my dog regularly, and I'm not going to review every single walk. But the constant pop up along to review months old walks makes it impossible to use any other features.

Half of the times I open up the app, the screen glitches like crazy. A promotion screen flickers in and out rapidly until it force closes the app automatically. The other half of the time, when I open the app, I can't click any buttons to operate it. This is all after I finish completing the profiles for my dogs, cat, address, etc. I am using a Galaxy S22+ . Please fix this app, because I used to really enjoy using it!

The app will randomly log you out and require you to enter an emailed verification code, but doesn't send the code for hours (has happened multiple times). You can't contact support bc the only way to do so is through the app. Their chatbot is beyond useless. They updated their key boxes and their app, so the wag key box I have is no longer supported and walkers struggle with the lock code (no comms about this change of course). App is buggy, lags an insane amount. Walkers are good.

The app is trash. It takes forever to load. It will randomly launch the "Rate your walker" function, which takes over your screen and forces you to tip. The tip function switches between dollars and percentages in different parts of the app. Moving from reading a report back to the list of completed walks doesn't work. You have to go back to the home page, then navigate thru all the menus again to read the next report. And much more issues. I just ran out ofnspace...

Update: This is crossing over to legal compliance issues now. I am unable to even delete my account or user information since it has to be done within the app. But the app is non-functional and completely unusable. So, the negative reviews about this app were spot on. Haven't had it installed for more than 10 minutes, and it is the most unresponsive and clunky app I have ever used. I can't even close the promotion pop-ups they keep pushing.
