Where to begin? Casting to the TV sometimes works, but rarely on the first try. A few adds are enough to blow out your ear drums. Ads will freeze the playback (seems to happen toward the end of an hour long show). It loses track of where you are 8n an episode of you do get cut off and there is no tracking to see which episodes you've already seen. I've already tried resets of both tv and device. The app is just not ready for prime time Thanks for the reply. But as I noted, there are just too many problems and it would be very time consuming to help you refine your app. I'll hold off and wait until it's been improved and try again next year.

Excellent picture quality and easy to use but the commercials need a little fix. Sometimes they came 2 or more at the same time and even the movie start all together, is such a audio mess, you can't stop them and the only way to resolve it is to restart the app. Beside that the content is amazing, a lot of good shows and movies. 5 stars when they fix the commercials mix up.

UPDATE: STILL one of the worst streaming apps I've used. Freezes phone, crashes constantly, uses excessive amounts memory. Chromecast steam also doesn't work well. Video quality is good, but randomly stops streaming within 2-15 minutes. Wrote the above almost two years ago, and the app is possibly worse today than it was back then. Downgraded from 2 stars to 1.

Absolute garbage. When you click "watch in app" from the website, it opens the app to the home screen. When you finally dig through the painfully slow app to find the episode you want, it plays on the phone and then the app crashes. Once you get it to play without crashing, you try to cast it to your chromecast and BLAM. Crash again and back to the home screen. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Myself and others keep reporting issues with this app for Android TV and it keeps falling on deaf ears. I have two "Chromecast with Google TV" devices and the experience is the same - open app, watch the spinny circle for about 20 seconds, then the app closes itself and takes me back to the Android TV home screen. Casting from an Android phone works fine. Again this is an issue with the Android TV version of the app. Please resolve this! It's right in the middle of the NBA playoffs! EDIT - I have tried rebooting the device, clearing data/cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing resolves it.

This app is abysmal. It constantly crashes and disconnects from Chromecast. It's not user friendly in the slightest. Hard to navigate menu and options, the scrolling bit on the homepage is too sensitive and suddenly it clicks stuff I don't want it to. This should not be an issue seeing as there are other successful streaming apps like HBOGO, HBOMAX, AMC etc.

Only got this because nba western conference finals are on tnt and not on watch espn. I can see ALL ads and commercials in breath taking HD. Time outs even... at one point during game 1, the screen was a smorgasbord of gold and blue, and I couldn't tell the game from a kindergarten kids finger painting masterpiece. Freezes, and once the game gets interesting, total lack of definition. I don't mean it's hazy, I mean TOTAL LACK OF DEFINITION! Fix it.

Glitches out when trying to cast live content. I've chatted with their "support" about it a couple of months ago and was left disappointed. Apparently the issues are still ongoing and I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one that keeps experiencing the same issues. Needs fixed. Don't waste your memory space downloading! *update* 4 months later and it still disconnects when streaming live content and trying to cast to TV...I don't experience issues like this with any other app

literally the worst streaming app there is. i use it to stream through my chromcast and it cuts out every 5 minutes and i have to stop and restart it. i use multiple apps for the same thing such as discovery channel, a & e, history channel, and many more. none of the other apps give me trouble. just tnt...... literallt a year later....still not fixed. I watch games on every other app. No problem. Tnt, every problem you could ever imagine. I wish there was a 0 star!

This is, in fact, the WORST app I've ever used. The casting interface is awkward and backwards from typical UX. The in interface feels familiar for a minute, until you attempt to navigate away from the landing screen. Searched content is irrelevant even when searching for a specific piece of content. There's little too no cohesive behavior between watching episodes in the same season; some are blocked, some are accessible. I can watch odd number episodes but but not even numbers. It's a mess.

Very unstable to the point of almost ruining the experience. As an avid NBA fan, I frequently use the app (while signed in with tv provider credentials) to watch several games a year. I've never gotten through an entire game without the app crashing and having to restart it. In the ~2.5 hour coverage time I expect it to crash ~2-3 times. All other tv service apps/ similar programs hardly ever have this problem.

Updated: Very handy when it works. But glitches multiple times whenever I try to watch content. They need to tweak the app and remove the bugs... Now streaming doesn't even work for me. It works on my phone but if I try to stream it to my tv doesn't even do anything except display the tnt logo. To make matters even more annoying, I went on my laptop and tried to get a game streamed through there and when I hit "watch live tnt" it sends me to a "Bones" TV show episode. I'm done with this app.

I'm happy to say the app quality really has improved. I was just like the many other upset reviews over the recent years. But streaming the NHL and NBA playoffs the last week or so has been really smooth. No force closing. I can switch to other apps and jump back into this app, resume the live stream w/o having to watch ads again. I have to give credit. I feel bad for others out there. Hopefully the experience improves for you.

7/30/2020. 2 years and 3 months later. This app is still worthless. It won't even open so I can watch the NBA restart inside the bubble. How does a company so big not get it right after 2 years. Does anybody from the company even read these reviews? 4/28/18 App constantly freezes. I need to uninstall it every time I use it otherwise it won't let me log into my cable provider. It won't consistently cast to my TV and when it does, it disconnects every 30 minutes when the app crashes.

I feel like I'm back in the year 2010 with this app. The interface itself is cumbersome, laggy, and difficult to navigate and simply does not load at random times. I have a very fast connection but the app buffers a lot and is at 720p quality at best. The commercials are injected by a third party that is exclusive to the app so the timing and volume on them is horrid. I have missed crucial moments in live games because the app exclusive advertisements have ran over the actual length of the broadcast counterpart. I have tested this app on several devices, locations, and up go gig speed WiFi connections.I have used the app for years and there has been no change in performance and quality. All the issues I mentioned have been exactly the same FOR YEARS.

Sometimes. The app just won't let me login on the first or eighth time. Like now. I've uninstalled it and installed it. This is my fourth time going thru this. Thanks for your comment TNT but it still didn't work. The next screening that I went to was directtv link. I put in my email and password but every time. The website would just refresh after putting everything in and clicking done or whatever the option is.

App is horrible. Constantly buffers and won't let me play anything. While I have the attention of the customer service rep reading this -Hey can you fix your app on the Xbox? Thanks. I don't enjoy signing in every single time I open the app -- EVERY SINGLE TIME??? And it also just shows a loading icon 90% of the time. Your app has like 1.1 stars out of 5. You are worth billions. What is going on over there? No wonder we're losing NBA on TNT.

Update : 5/26/2024 Installed. Tried watching nba playoff game. Buffers. Indefinitely. Over and over. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Same. New rating of 1!. 😑 Original review : Uggh. This interface isn't easy to navigate but I'd be able to overlook that if it had a SEARCH function. Sersiously. You can't search for content within the app. You need to scroll around to see if what you're looking for is in the app. Pass.

Terrible android TV experience. Cannot navigate the popup window that asks to give it a review. Had to restart my TV to get it to go away. Audio sometimes does not work at all. If audio *does* work the signal level is so low I have to increase my volume from 10 to 65 to hear it. Navigation is delayed by a few seconds and then resets the cursor location seemingly randomly. This experience is so bad I got out my phone and looked up this app just to complain.

Massive battery draining even when not in use. I'm not sure how that's possible, but as soon as I uninstalled it everything was fine. I'm guessing they're doing massive days collection with wifi/gps scanning. Other than that, the app is terrible with buffering and streaming issues. It was way easier to find the playoff games online vs using this horrendous garbage.
