Cute app, this is the first one i downloaded as I thought the cat was cute. I wish there was an option to not have your weight counted there though as I find it uncomfortable to have to look at my weight being counted. and it also doesn't make sense how some of the stuff is counted (for example most of the coffee options have more % than milk even though coffee dehydrates you) Not the worst app but i feel like there are better water reminder apps out there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This app is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to drink water on a regular basis during the day, not just full cups every hour or so as some apps appeared to focus on. I appreciate being to being able to send reminders to myself at a rate of my choosing. Note: I am not using this app to record my water intake. I use a separate app in which I'm reporting calorie and water intake. I realized I was not drinking enough water so I used this app just as a reminder. Love it, thank you!

So far so good! I like the app and the features. I wish I could just input the amount of water I WANT to drink versus having the amount be what my weight suggests I should be drinking 😒 but thats not a deal breaker. And I like that I can be reminded visually and not audibly since I work in an office. I APPRECIATE THE LACK OF ADS!!!! That is refreshing.

Used to be a very good water reminder app. Now the devs put ads in so now every time you go to enter your drink amount, you have to watch a stupid ad. I would much rather pay a small fee to use the app than deal with ads every time I enter the app. Will be searching for a new water reminder and uninstalling this one. So sad. Bye kitty. By the way, this is my second time posting this. Mysteriously, my first review vanished into thin air!

Loving this app for tracking my water intake. The notifications are friendly. I especially like that I can adjust the quantity of water as well as what I actually drank - water vs. tea vs. milk, for instance. My one wish is that there was a way to rearrange the list of beverages! Water and sparkling water are at the top followed by 10 different kinds of coffee -- which I don't drink! So it'd be nice to be able to put my most frequent beverages at the top.

I love this cat, everything about it makes me happy. I love the cat notifications. It's a solid water counter, no ads, provides a little bit of joy! 2 things that would be cool would be to manually adjust the goal amount and when choosing the amount of beverage to add, be able to type in how much. I usually have either 12 or 28 oz drinks, so that's a lot of scrolling up and down.

I really want to love Watercat! It's so cute and helpful and there are lots of notification sound options and you can pick a default amount of water to drink with a button push-- BUT the widgets don't work. They just open Watercat, sometimes showing a full page ad first. I want to be able to tap on the 'plus' sign on the widget on my home screen, and it just add my default amount of water to my daily amount. If I wanted to open the app every time, I wouldn't be using a widget.

Exactly what I need with no advertisements!! You can easily go into settings and choose metric or emperial format. There is an option to input exercise & weather which will increase/decrease the amount of water you will require for the day. My favorite feature is that you can adjust the size of container you're drinking from, then just tap the cat each time you empty it. Awesome app. Thanks!

Overall, a nice little free app. However, sometimes the image of the kitty is incorrect. Itll usually correctly show a sad kitty in the morning, but once I add a drink of any type, itll show a picture that indicates that ive almost met my goal. When I clearly haven't. Not a huge problem, just a little weird. Other than that, it's fine. A little basic, but that's all I need. No ads is a huge plus. And one more thing: I wish it had custom day start times!

I used this app for 3 days before seeing a single ad. I love this app so much that I bought the ad-removal upgrade the first chance I got. This app is very easy to use, lets you track what types of drinks you're consuming, and is easily customizable. The little kitty is nice feedback on if you're keeping up with your goal or if you're lagging behind and possibly dehydrated. I also love that it has a widget I can put on my homescreen! I've been using this app for almost 2 months now.

I downloaded another popular water reminder app before this one. The other one might be a little prettier but this one allows much more customization with your default drink amount (I chose 4oz). And how often you want reminders (I set for every hour). The other app would also tell you to "slow down" if you pressed the drink button two times in a row, even if you were just trying to catch the app up to how much water you've had. This one doesn't do that.

I like this app, the reminders are useful (and I love the "Purring" sound for reminder). But it would be even better if we could delete beverage types that are never used, and be able to edit the "custom" beverage types after adding them. Edited: I've added a 5th star to my review, after the helpful answer that was given. Thank you!!

I paid for this app to be ad free a few months ago when it started having ads. It said pay for no ads FOREVER. I started getting ads again today. I messaged the developer and haven't heard anything. So I'm hoping this review might get their attention so they fix their error. Update: the developer finally fixed my issue and I don't have ads anymore. I do enjoy this app.

The app is very easy to use. I like you can adjust the water intake based on the weather and physical activity. I wish, though, the reminders were timed based on the user input vs timing: the reminders keep arriving even after the required intake has been reached. I also wish there could be badges to be earned to be exchanged for various skins, backgrounds, etc. See water the plant app.

I really like this app. It's a cute cat. I bought the no-ad version (which I didn't even really need to do because ads popped up like once per day). I think it would be really cool if you guys added more custom themes, like you did with the Christmas theme. Maybe a beach theme or something like that. I like this app more than Plant Nanny, because Plant Nanny became impossible to use with all of the ads and the EXPENSIVE pro version being thrown in my face every ten seconds wasn't very fun.

Very cute way to track my water intake everyday. I'm not as consistent in tracking and hydrating the little cutie as I should be, though. 😆 I like that I'm able to add drinks and set the hydration level for them. I like that I can set hourly reminders instead of only before/after meals, after waking, and before bed (other apps I've tried only offered those types of reminders and I didn't like that schedule). Highly recommend, nice work devs!! 👍🏾

Edit: I had to take it to four stars instead of five because the app is glitching with me. It won't allow me to set my exercise nor temperature no matter what I do. Otherwise I still like the app. ADORABLE app!! I love the encouragement, the fun facts to further encourage, the achievements! They're so cute, and I love how you can even make your own drinks that don't fall under one of the preselection!

This app includes everything I was looking for in a water app: a simple way to add water drink, an automatic calculation of how much water I should be drinking (and my subsequent googling confirmed they were on the right track), and even some features I like and did not anticipate, such as graphs to track over time and adjustments for days with more exercise and differing weather. The only reason for 4/5 is because I have not found a way to put in data after a day has passed.

I’ve used WaterCat for a month and love it—4.7 stars! It fits my needs by nudging me every 10 minutes to sip and letting me log any size or drink type. I like the quick app pause, incentives (cute cats, messages, stickers), flexible notifications, and overnight quiet time. Ads appear only when switching screens, are short, and don’t disrupt use. Overall, it’s a fun, helpful way to stay hydrated. hydrated.

It works great!! I've tried other apps, and downloaded this one just yesterday and already like it a lot. It provides options with more than drinking water, like coffee, allowing you to add. You choose how many ounces you drank, so it's not limited, and times you drink if needed. It calculates weather & workout for you.
