When I tried to import audio from my Recorder app it said the file would have to be converted into a different format but it didn't list any and most of the screen was grey. The I tried to record from wavepad & more than half the screen was grey. I hit Options and it listed none & was like the conversion page. I assume that it's a bug but still, writing here is more simple than trying to contact support.

SO FAR SOOO BAAAD! when I first downloaded wavepad I was able to load 3 different tracks & play with the software just fine & I liked it so much I purchased the monthly subscription. After I made the purchase I cant get the app to load any track at all regardless of the format. I've deleted & reinstalled the app twice & nothing worked at all. Now I'm trying to redownload & it wont even let me download it. So I paid for something I never got to use in the paid format . Samsung galaxy S10+

desperately needs an update to fix layout issues on pixel 2 and newer. you loose a ton of functionality because the message screen is too large to read everything or even make the selection it's asking you to. for example when importing a file that needs to be converted. it's a shame because this used to be the best audio editing app

I downloaded this since I also have the paid version on my desktop (*btw, since I paid for that can I get it on multiple platforms? Just saying*). I regularly edit hours long recordings & sometimes will listen to it without the app being open (or just with the screen off). It times out & when I reopen it, I have to reopen the file, figure out where it stopped, zoom in, everything. I wish that if it does have to time out, it could at least remember my settings & where it stopped. AND add a FF/rew

If I could give zero stars I would, the recording automatically starts when you press new file so then you have to delete, and then when you press the record button at the bottom and you're ready to start recording your audio it pops up with a message sometimes saying please buy our app and then when you press no thanks it starts the recording when you aren't ready so it's a process off restarting a million times. On top of that it makes it impossible to overlap your voice to a beat.

Putting five stars because I do enjoy using this app. Even used the PC version before I discovered this. Love this app, even bought the full version with all unlocked features years back, BUT... The recent update has me concerned. I start up the app and I'm met with a status bar stating "Downloading resources. This will be quick..." That's all fine and dandy. Trouble is the status bar stops halfway, utterly freezing the app. Please fix this. I want my WavePad back.

Not even worth learning one's way around the app. Too many unexpected shut downs plus, it lacks the basic editing capabilities that any music editing app should naturally have in this day and age. If you lock your phone for any reason, don't expect for your work to be there when you go back into the app. Once you leave the app, it won't even have the mp3 in it that you imported into from your phone's library.

If you're a musician who's done some home recording, you've probably downloaded and used Audacity. It's intuitive, elegantly simple DAW software that, despite it's limitations, does everything you need to get a song tracked, roughly edited, and mixed down. It's also free to utilize 99% of its features to your heart's content for as long as you wish. I know this is for phones, not PCs, but these guys want you to go thru a pay wall just to PAN an effing track. A bit assholish!

Hi, I'm adding to my review. I use this app constantly to listen to/ edit recordings, and it's been pretty solid. As of 9/14/23, the app (android) kept shutting down and I received an error stating there was a bug in the app and I needed to delete/reinstall it. I did and it worked one time. Now as of 9/17/23, I'm receiving the same error. Is there a fix for this coming? I don't want to keep reinstalling it. Thank you.

-⭐ I'm a pro user, this app isn't working. When clicking open file or import from folder, it goes right to music(which is fine)(but when a music file is in downloads) I click the music folder and all my folders appear. I click downloads and a message pops up wavepad isn't responding. -⭐ can't share to wavepad from phones file explorer because app doesn't support Content URI. -⭐ A.can't edit m4a files. B. There are other minor annoyances with this app but I just added it with this star I minused

Update: This app crashed my computer while updating for this app. The download has been going on for weeks and I cant get on my computer. Thanks I hope you can fix this because this is not okay! Way too many problems. Records automatically making it difficult to trim every single file I create. When you stop recording it always ask if you're sure making for even more trimming on every single file. Did anyone test this product before sending it to the public?

Congratulations, your update made the app unusable. The interface was easy and functional before. Now it lags, doesn't scroll smoothly, and is no longer percise. The new colors are an eye sore, the editing tools are hard to locate, and it constantly crashes. I've used this app since 2016 instead of other programs but looks like I'll be using Audacity now. I'm glad I never bought the upgrade.

Understand two things 1: this app is fantastic for people who are unsure of and new to the world of audio editing. Specifically for your voice, and it's a great tool for that. 2: it is an incredibly predatory app. You can use all the features for maybe an hour or two, which is about how long it takes to learn it. After that, it starts taking away features you had already started using until you can only use maybe 4 or 5 tools that aren't the record it play buttons. Don't bother buying it.

Used to be the perfect audio editor for my purposes, update rendered the app completely unusable. App will not respond to my touch when I try to select a part of the audio, nor slide to select part of the audio I wish to cut out. UI was fine the way it was; update added unnecessary spacing between options which just means user has to scroll more to find what they're looking for, top is also rather squished together and text is piled onto eachother. Undoing update would fix all issues.

I used this to trim a piece of audio in different spots, something you can't do in most other apps. Remembering how useful it was, I bought the full version and tried it again on another audio file. What happened?? Navigation is horrible now. The window where you trim is tiny and I can't resize it. If I try to trim it down by deleting or cutting, the whole waveform dissappears and asks if I want to record!! And there is no undo button that I can find! Uggggghhhh!!

Holey Schmoley Batman! This app has the function of an exceptional Windows PC audio editor... in an Android app!!! It took about 8 seconds to figure out the simple finger gestures for selecting parts of the song, after that the giant menu system makes this app easy to use. Looks like at least 50 kool functions. Free version you need to "Save" file because "Save As" only does wav files.

Good but BEWARE - on some phones (OnePlus 6, Samsung Galaxy s10 confirmed, probably others) if you lock the screen while recording, the app will keep rolling but NOT CAPTURE ANY SOUND after a few seconds. So you'll end up with a .wav with sound at the beginning and end but pure silence throughout the middle. I didn't know this so I didn't warn my kid, so he did a whole video shoot and lost 99% of the audio from one of his two actors, since her audio was going into a lav plugged into her s10. The app seems solid, with great features, decent interface, and solid functionality - but it needs to either keep recording while the screen is off, or warn you that it won't.

there is no settings menu at all. i have the standard (rec/play/pause/skip) buttons on the bottom but thats it. oh and the x to make purchases...but thats it. it doesnt scroll or anything like it does at the top. i tried everything. super bummed too, cause the quality was very noticeably better than all the other apps, and thats before being able to edit. hope i can get this resolved.

It worked for the short time (15-30 mins) I used it to trim a song to make a ringtone, but the tool dropdown while editing was intrusive and got in the way of effectively selecting the segment I wanted a number of times. Overall the app version is less user friendly than I remember wavepad on pc being. Making a quick edit take longer than necessary. But it did the job I wanted, albeit with effort. Another plus side was no ad intrusion, so theres that?

I have wavepad audio editor pro for desktop, but this Android version runs very slow and clunky on Android 10. But the biggest problem is where it stores its audio, which is within its own application, and nowhere that can be located with a file locator! All of a sudden I'm out of internal ram! That's because all audio opened within the application saves itself within the application, taking up system memory. Google Files could not find it. MobiSystems File Commander could not find it.
