I agree with the recent reviews. I've been using this app for the past 5 years and was very satisfied with its accuracy and features. However, slowly more and more features were removed and only added to the premium service. I originally bought the paid version. Now, after the update, most of the features the paid pro version had don't exist anymore and even contains ads. Is is a shameful downgrade. It is regrettable to see this development in this formerly really good application.

On two android tablets today & 1st time location has been enabled, and on both devices roughly after displaying radar, each tablet completely crashed, power button completely unresponsive. Wait 10 minutes, then tablet reboots, low level operating system text message displayed asking whether to continue boot or factory reset. This is really bad. Last update over 12 months ago - dead product? Previous review 5 stars. Have used for 4 years. The management of favorites is full of bugs.

Updated review for the new May 2019 update. Used to be so good, now with every update they just make it worse and worse. You don't really have much access to any data anymore, EVERYTHING requires a subscription, even simple rain forecast graphs. I only kept using this app for so long (5 years? maybe more) because of the graphs. Now I can't even see them anymore. Oh, and now ADS??? Hope you guys go bankrupt because of your greedy choices.

This is a perfect example of "Why updating something that works?". Once I tried that update, it had so many glitches and the design was so atrocious that I had to download a previous version of the app, 4.8.8, and been using that version ever since. As I see that other reviews are not getting better, I won't update it. It works, until it won't, but that version was the best weather app among all weather apps, now it became the worst. You want people to like your app? Reverse to the previous one!

Newest version is disappointing. I am using it since 2012. I purchased the license but after the latest update all of the purchased features became disabled. And now it asks for a monthly payment! The widget is not the good one as before, lots of adds...in a short, it is worthless. I am updating my 5 starts to 1 star.

I want so bad to like this app. It seems like it could possibly be more accurate than the current weather app I am using. But it always says that it cannot find my location when I start the app. The radar also did not play smoothly - and even blanked out a few times. The app overall just appears to be sort of glitchy. Please fix and I will gladly review your app again, and possibly subscribe to the premium tier also.

They've taken a wonder app which put all information immediately available: wind direction & speed, humidity, rain, and radar. Now it's full of ads from start to finish and they want to charge monthly for the use of the functions. Totally destroyed it...a waste.

This is how to ruin a perfectly good application. Even though we paid previously, one time payment, for ths app now we have to pay a monthly fee in order to gwt rid of the ads. Moreover the widget doesn't work and the weather has been removed from the notification menu. I guess it's time to go back to stock weather app.

So I updated to latest version and now when tapping on the time in the widget I'm taken only to my alarms. Before I had the Alarm, World Clock, Stopwatch, Timer options at the bottom, but they're gone now 🙁 Sometimes it takes forever to load or just ends up with a system message saying it isn't responding. Galaxy S9.

Totally worthless after new update. from five stars to one star, and out of the phone. The new ads are now horribly intrusive, and the only way to report a problem, or to use the so-called "feedback" requires you to go through multiple steps of "Verify" hell to actually get a problem message or feedback off. Totally worthless to me now. Out of the phone. The Storm Radar app and the Weather Underground app are far superior to this app.

Horrible upgrade. A lot of features in the former version for free, now gone unless I buy a subscription. Ads are overwhelming. This was one of my go to apps before the upgrade. Now I can't see myself using it. Going to keep it installed in the hopes developers hear the complaints & do a release that restores previous functionality.

New version freezes during opening screen, even in v 5.1. If you have to reset an app each time you open it, there's a problem. In addition, comparing several weather forecasts 1 and 3 days out over several weeks, an older version of Wpro didn't make the cut, too many missed rains. FL forecasts are not easy, but 2 other apps (Foreca from Portugal and the German Weather & Radar) did considerably better.

It forgets previous payments and tries to force you to pay again. I purchased this app before they changed to request monthly payments. I have had to email them múltiple times to remove the ads. Now I got ads removed but lost hourly and extended forecast. Not happy with their monthly fee business model. A yearly (competitive) price would be acceptable..

I loved this APP out of countless competitors. Nonetheless, the latest version is rather disappointing. The wind theme was gone, I couldbno longer log in the MeteoGroup account and changes have been made concerning the UI and background. I mean, not that I really need the wind theme, but the key element of simplicity has been erased, which makes it almost no different comparing with its competitors such as AccuWeather, etc...I am expecting the returning of the functions I mentioned.

I originally bought this app due to its simple layout for weather graphs on one page. No other weather app had simple graph layout like this one. With recent major update, it became a generic weather app and it wants you to pay monthly subscription for the graphs with worse layout.. Been using this app for over 7 yrs. It was uninstalled immediately after using it with the update...

I had originally added this app and used the paid version because none of the others that I found were as accurate. I enjoyed having multiple widget sizes and everything this app used to have. As of the update, all of this has disappeared. I tried looking for a way to undo the update to no avail. I have since ended up with the NOAA app, but the widgets aren't as nice as the old version of this app.

Unfortunate that they took such a wrong turn on their update. Used to have a great set of widgets. Particularly liked the 4x1 with a 4 day forecast. Now there is only one 4x4 that is relatively useless. Lots of other options out there so I will definitely be using something else. May check back to see if the old version that I paid for will ever be restored, but not keeping my hopes up for that....

Just tried this since I read it had accurate forecast for my area. App is worse weather app I've tried. It doesn't work if you have location turned off. I prefer adding location manually, since default isn't close to my city. I have 4 cities added including my location, just sits there trying to sync if location is off. Works fine with location on, but no way of setting a defined location as default. Also only one ugly widget. Back to eweather for me.

recent updates limited previously available features and knocked me down to the free version. The only way to get them back is a monthly subscription. add to that a new interface which is not so good. I instead purchased AccuWeather for a one time charge of $3.99 (no monthly subscription). The time for a good and affordable Weather Pro app has come and gone. to quote individual number 1, "sad".

You killed MeteoEarth, and RainToday. Totally trashed with the redesign despite years of updates. I believe you lost access to the original app, this version has nothing to do with original. If you want the old version back, de-install and search for the old APK, version 4.8.8.4 and avoid updating. Set apps to update automatically, exclude this in the three dot menu top right. Renewed my Premium for the year OK for the old version. Still works well in 2025. From the best to the worst sadly.
