I hate this app. It accepts permissions on its own and does whatever the hell it wants. I have cleared the cache and storage, I removed all permissions, I disabled and force stopped it, more than once... and it comes right back like I did none of it. Its like the herpes of apps. I want it gone.

This is the stock built in browser on my phone, so it cannot be uninstalled without rooting my device. It is a pretty slow browser without much security, and the only update in years only put ads into it. I don't use this browser for anything.

Horrible app! Crashes often, rare updates. The description is a Chinese version of English.... Horrible.... Update: Developer it still says, "In this new version, some fugs were fixed, and it will bring the better browsing experience to users." This is poor English grammar. 👎

It deserves no star. The creators of the app is dominating. This app enables itself after you disable it, it forces unwanted advertising, it forces con from Japan on your home screen, you cannot delete it. It acts like a virus. Even if you give this app no permission, it grants itself permission. This app is not recommended, due to it's intrusiveness. I need to get rid of it, but I can't. Zero stars for this app.

Very poor, it runs stories in the background that drains my battery. I don't remember setting up as default browser but now it pops up all the time with my email notifications, not good. It also runs weather app that I thought I deleted. Just a horrible app and interface.

This app does not do what it says it does. It seemed likeit took forever to load! The user interphase is not easy to use so I think that makes it harder to use for a he average person it someone with little computer skills; There needs to a be a review on everything and fix all issues in every of this app! Good luck!!;

This app, which came installed on the phone, and which I've never used, suddenly started posting advertisements to my notifications. I never wanted the app in the first place, and I certainly don't want the extra advertisements. If I could uninstall it, I would, but I'll settle for deactivating it.

Piece of garbage; unwanted. Won't stay off, can't uninstall and makes me think this, "appfinder" and weather are spyware ... Shame on Google for allowing these sorts of apps that hijack phone. Shame on "developers" who come up with unwanted, unneeded and unreliable apps that can't be trusted ... If the app WON'T obey settings, it's trash.

Why Oh Why Did I "Update?" I had everything just right after YEARS of refinement. Then I agreed to update it. I uninstalled the update right away because it represents the DUMBING DOWN if America! Big, stupid icons replace the ballet between user and programmer -- a dance of equals. Now I am expected to point my one finger while, what?, running my perpendicularly held other finger up and down across my lips while saying "dooiiii." Maybe you have to see it. Maybe, offer 2 versions.

WHY is this horrible browser automatically installing strange apps? This browser is nothing but malware. I have all permissions and settings OFF, but it keeps trying then back on and downloading strange apps I don't want. Google needs to remove this from their site, and the devs need to make uninstall feature available to poor suckers like me who got a phone with this nightmare already installed.

The latest update is absolutely HORRIBLE! All I get is "Webpage not available" and "Connection timed out" . It was fine until now. I use a different browser and the same pages just pop right up. This one takes FOREVER! - If EVER! It is not my connection, it is this virtually useless browser! Every update just gets worse and worse! Developers, What ever it is you're doing to this thing, would you PLEASE STOP DOING IT!

Even the title is poor grammar, not even proper slang. It should be "Private" vs privacy. Poor to Mid level browser. Glad I couldn't remove it though I would have if able. When PSt and my 3(?)other "big name" browsers crashed hard; having this to fall back on let me reinstall them all easily. (keep one "incase"; and settings in PSt can prevent auto-updates on choice backup browser.)

This app is adware and probably also spyware which is impossible to remove once installed, short of a full device reset. For me it was installed by accidentally clicking on one of those popups that imitate an Android p. It mimics the icon of the default android browser so even if you enable viewing system apps it can be easy to miss the problem, and when you do realize what the problem is the best you can do is uninstall its updates and disable auto-updates until you can do a full factory reset.

Sux. I use Firefox to avoid intrusive ads!!! Same comment for Crome/Google stuff... ads are much to intrusive, time consuming and overbearing. Google is GREAT with better search results. I just wish it wasn't so nosey and killed us with unwanted advertising. I think Google and a lot of it's app's are exceptional except for for these issues. 🤔😬

I read the info the Web browser app has to show. Not really impressed, permissions non invasive, per say. Reading the reviews, 🫣. I won't fix what isn't broken or add baggage I don't need! Not much security🤔 either, be very careful about what personal info you put on any web browser that offers little to none security! Especially email addresses/full first & last names! 🫣 Be vigilant with your info! Bug

Removing VPN for a browser is stupid, it wouldn't effect anyone unless they wanted to use it, wherein they'd be prepared for the added slowness. Not only that, but it came forcibly installed and didn't even have the courtesy to be a good browsing app. I rate it at Old Internet Explorer out of Bing, it doesn't make it to Microsoft Edge or Chrome levels, or even close. Inconvenient at best, ngl, but I have high hopes that one day it'll get better.

Horrible. I do not like this new version at all. The layout is awful which makes it difficult to navigate, time consuming and unnecessarily complicated to get to bookmarks & other supposedly shortcuts. Browsing in multiple windows is aggravating. It separates them, instead of having them next to each other where it would be easy to switch & you have to back out & into menu to hit + to open another window. I wish I wouldn't have updated it or that there was a way to use the older version. Fail
