Most of the stories are set up great! So easy to get lost in a story. But I do not like how little they offer for free, how few you can "wait to unlock", how much you have to pay to hear full stories, and the stories read as if by an AI make it hard to enjoy the story. If there was a subscription option, that would be better.

This is a great app! I would recommend it. The cost for stuff is pretty low, and there seems to be ample opportunity to get more coins for free. My recommendation is to make the subtitles for the podcast match closer to what the author is saying and to make it easier to read. Repeatedly, I noticed some small and large differences between the audio and the text.

Really like this app. The only downside to it is that of course you've got to pay for coins so you can unlock different chapters of books. You can earn coins but not enough to unlock all the chapters of the book you're trying to read and finish. So with that being said I would love to see an app where you can read different books for free. All the chapters not just the first 4 or so. I understand they've gotta get their money somehow. Just sucks.. Not worth the space of being on your phone !!

Is a good app but not being able to listen to all of the chapters at once kinda irritates me and when they are all unlocked I have to go back to the very beginning and then can I enjoy the whole book at once. Again I love the app but if the prices could be cheaper that would be great, if anyone has other app recommendations, let me know I would highly appreciate it.

I've changed my mind I do like this one the most out of all I've tried. Has the best options for pay and you can get most books for a short ad or even some click through news articles. I've also found a lot of thrillers and horror books not just romance novels. So far only a couple of books have been pay to read which is better than I thought. Most narrators are very good I've only disliked the virtual voice books so far. In some cases I've gotten an entire series for free.

For what it's worth, the app is great. The stories are surprisingly good and well written/recorded versus what I had thought originally. There are downsides, but that comes with most free reading and audio book apps like having to wait for chapters to unlock or purchasing coins to unlock them. The coins aren't as pricey as other apps I've had, so I don't know if there's something better out there decently priced with good quality stories. But I'm happy and content with the app.

WeHear is an amazing app, this is my first time reading well listening to an Audiobook. And so far, I'm enjoying it. Although I do want to say that the subtitles do need fixing as they don't have all the correct words but I do wish there were other ways to ear bonuses, like watch ads or something to get them other than reading for a certain amount of time. But other than that, great app!👍

Too expensive to unlock chapters. They never respond to messages. The system is currently auto unlocking chapters, despite that feature being turned off. Most stories sound like they are being read by AI and are riddled with grammar and pronunciation errors. I have started several stories and had to stop them because they are unintelligible due to the errors. Reading the closed captions doesn't help because they appear to be auto created from the audio so the transcript has even more errors.

I hate the new update. They have stupid videos playing that. Don't even correlate to the story. The setup is stupid. And makes it hard for you to even read the description of the book you're listening to because of the new visuals. The most infuriating thing though, is that I am not able to listen to Stories in the background. I have to be on the app with it open and cannot allow my phone to lock. Otherwise The app will completely close.

I really enjoy his app. It's not as expensive as others and you can use audio on all the books not here some of them. I do wish there was an option to watch an ad to watch the next episode, instead of having to spend so much money. But like I said, it is cheaper then most of the others book apps. Update: it's a little ( ok a lot 😉) expensive. Is there a monthly or weekly subscription available?

So far so good. But I hate that they start you by hooking you with the 1st couple chapters then it's ok we are done with the freebies it's time to pay.... and most of them tell you they're free and they aren't. It's insane. But most of these seem really good which is rather annoying because you can't finish it without needing a ton of money to continue. It's honestly irritating especially when you really get into it!!!!!

This is very enjoyable. I found myself sitting back and letting the narrators voice wash over me. Closing my eyes and visualizing the words spoken with this very pleasant voice. The only draw back I have to note is that it isn't free so now I have to wait to hear more...I did see that there are a few books to read for free, just not the title that drew me to the app.

I enjoy the readers. It's almost like a radio drama with fairly decent voice acting. I am annoyed I have to spend approximately $15 each book. The app also shuts itself down for no reason in the middle of a story. Not frequently, just enough to be annoying and noticeable. I'd like to see more diverse stories. One can only enjoy so many billionaire or a/b/o stories.

There are some moderately decent books on this site. The voice actors can suck the life out of a story though by putting the wrong voice actor with the wrong character after you've listened to the same person do the same voice for most of the story and then they switch up. It's also not so great that you're paying more to hear one book then it would cost you to actually buy a real book online or in a bookstore. Purchasing almost $40 worth of points every time you want to hear a book is crazy

Don't like that you only get the first few chapters for free and have to do a lot of leg work to unlock the remaining chapters unless you spend quite a bit of money. I'll stick to audible. I can get 3 credits for close to the price of unlocking 1 full book here and the narrators are way better on audible. You can read all the same genres plus more on audible too.

Ok, I have been listening to the book for four days now. I love the stories I've chosen. However, I am very disappointed that all of them do not give free chapters daily. The second disappointing thing is how expensive they make it to open a chapter, I find it extremely greedy. Especially when you constantly drag on in that story. I tried earning coins. However, the game kept wanting me to upgrade after every two games. I feel this is a scam to gather data off my device. This isn't my only audio

I absolutely love this app. I always used to see the ads on YouTube and was like "hey what happened!?!?" It would be really cool if you could sell your books that you already finished back like exchange them from more bonuses. It would be a neat incentive because sometimes I use up my budget. And I can't listen for another month. Just something to think about Wehear.

Good stories on here and no ad interruptions which is nice, but your points you earn for checking in daily and listening expire after a while so if you are trying to save up for an expensive chapter ... You might not make it. The chapters vary greatly in price. The most expensive I have seen so far is 100 coins for a single chapter.

New find! I would always see the advertisements when I was online with other apps and decided to give it a try and I am very satisfied with the results and will use this app for my audio book reading. So far the content that I have listened to has been really good I wish that there were more options to receive points instead of payment options. Like minutes through ads like one of the other popular audio book apps.

I dispise the fact that there isn't a single app that you can listen to or read a book for free. Every reading/ audio app will always get a low rating from me. 1 or 2, 1 is for the extremely expensive and 2 for the slightly less expensive, because they're all wayyyy over priced. I can literally by 3-4 hardback books by the time I make it through one of these books. I am so disappointed.
