The redesign is ugly. There's a bug where you can't swap shifts on the mobile app, you have to do it on a web browser. You have to open the shift in the dashboard to take a lunch, I liked it the other way better where you could do it from the dashboard or the scheduler. They removed the availability section. The app is prone to crashing and slowness which has made me clock in late on countless occasions. For the most part it works though.

Normally the app works great and I love it, but just since the new update I cannot even open the app. It remains fixed on the loading screen and will not function whatsoever. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled, still nothing. I need this app for work and its acting broken. Please fix this as soon as possible! Very frustrating! Edit: I contacted support about the issue; they were not only kind and considerate, but also very prompt/thorough. Issue is now resolved, + highly recommended app!

We appreciate the WIW rep reaching out in response to our review. However, the new update has removed the clock-in feature completely! This makes our exact issue a full blown problem. After years with WIW, we are sad to go but go we must. This was a marvelous app but I think that the constant updates to fix bugs prompted developers to remove some of the most basic and best features: the clock-in icon on the home screen of app and the ability to clock-in others being the most missed.

The app used to be great but now its terrible. Its slow and awkward. The shifts don't refresh after you get a shift or try to get one so you're constantly trying to get shifts that are no longer available. It makes it difficult to get shifts. Im willing to change the rating after this is fixed. I might have to go back to an old version until then.

We use this where I work, and it is more trouble than it's worth. It has to have decent internet to function at all, which is a problem when you're travelling. The in app pop ups cover up buttons, so you have to wait for the unneeded popups to go away to clock-in/out for instance. Make the app function offline, and when you're clocked in the app has a floating tile (like Messenger) that you can put away if you like.

I remember the days when buggy beta software was introduced as if it was ready for prime time. It seems to be entirely dependent on location data. We do have weak and dead spots on the property, but I have other apps that need to know where you are and they work just fine. Comparing this app to others that actually work, I can only assume that cost is the reason for choosing. Recently submitted a support ticket (support people are quick to respond) and the issue seems to be resolved...for now. Maybe I can return to this review in a month and change the rating

It's great, If you don't know how to write, or read. Any and all communications on the app break down constantly, to the point where you will need to force-close the app every time you load it to enable it to work for one singular message, and then do it again when it breaks afterwards. It has a bad location refresh system, which makes it impossible to use without using in tandem with another Maps service. I couldn't recommend this service to my worst enemy in good conscience.

Works about 70 to 80% of the time. When it glitches out, it will prevent you from updating/correcting timesheets, telling you "an error occurred on the server" (very helpful), or it just crashes. Not very robust as a program, especially once you bring user error into the mix. Convenient enough when it works, but often as not feels like one more obstacle to productivity rather than an aid.

It is very useful but it has lots of bugs, which need to be fixed immediately. Eg, it wouldn't recognize your work place's clock in spot, though you are in the right GPS spot to log in ,it says ," You need to be with in 100meters of your shift position", which forces you to restart your phone and the app, by which the precious minutes are lost. That's a head ache. Needs to be looked in to, immediately. It also won't let you clock out after the shift or brings another shift in to the picture.

The text is absolutely enormous and over padded. I can set my phone 10 feet away and very easily read everything on the screen. Because the text is so large, not a whole lot of information can be displayed on the screen at once. It would be nice if I could see my entire week schedule on one screen rather than having to scroll through three or four screens. Customer service recommended I decrease my phone's text size. All other apps are too small then.

Wonderful idea in theory but falls short of expectations when it comes to Android support. WorkChat occasionally does not load, switching between week and month view takes several taps, clocking in and out sometimes does not register your GPS location. Customer care is very quick to respond, but like the response they'll probably leave for this review, mostly canned, obvious and unhelpful. "We're sorry you're having a poor experience and want to help. Try turning it off and on again."

The app does a good job with shifts, availability, and letting me know when I have shifts. It's pretty straight forward on a scheduling standpoint. Where this app has issues Is the workchat. It's super buggy and difficult to use. It takes forever to load and takes several attempts restarting before it actually opens. I rarely get notifications when someone messages me and this is difficult when people need shifts covered. I've used this app for over a year and these issues need to be addressed.

This app worked fine for the past nine months, but now I get an error message that says, "error connecting to the server." I've updated, uninstalled, reinstalled, and I'm still getting the error. I'm guessing it's no longer working with my phone, a Galaxy S4 Mini. Also same error on my Galaxy Elite tablet. and yes, I am connected to the internet or data connection, and I do have location turned on.

the app itself is great. let's you know when you work and how many hours per week your getting. The only issue i have along with some of my co-workers is the notification system is not great. i can go couple days and notice there was a group message in app going on. i have all my preferences to get notifications on and still nothing shows up. So until they fix their notification system it will stay at 4 stars.

Let's me clock in and out. Easy to use interface. Cool features. It's so buggy. 50% of the time WIW can't tell you are at your work place because of a GPS/Location bug. Frequent hangups. New bug where, in schedule view, "dots" in your schedule view identifying your workdays in a week aren't showing properly. Need to reinstall the app if you want to see updated employee icons. There's just too many bugs.

I am using this for an ambulance service. It has made scheduling and making sure shifts are covered so much easier. Everything is usable, easy, and straightforward. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is compared to some of the others I tried. I feel the mobile app could be a little cleaner in appearance (I can't really explain it. It just doesn't seem/feel like a 2023 app). Also, being able to move things on the mobile app either by what the admin thinks I necessary or the user would be nice.

Nice. When I first started using it I was having location issues It wasn't detecting me in range if my work place on occasion and weird stuff like that. It seems to have gotten better after one of their updates and after I forced an android update on my phone. Very handy time clock system. Being able to view my timesheets is also amazing and not to mention being able to send my boss requests for time off at 2 in the morning so I never have to worry about forgetting the next day.

This app has been great to use at my job both on the employee and the scheduler side until recently. It seems like a lot of the most recent updates create a lot of bugs for Android users. I'm constantly having to use my computer to do things I've been able to use my phone for for 6 years. I've submitted bug reports and nothing's been fixed and there's been minimal follow-up. I've been asked to submit an email but as I said I've done that multiple times.

I had this for a week for my new job and it was great. Push notifications came on time and I could see all the info I needed. It stopped working for a little bit, so I un- and re-installed it. It still works, but now it alerts me via text, not push notification, which is really annoying and there's no way to change the settings. Your options for notifications are "phone" or (I'm assuming) "email," which also would be annoying.

In the beginning, this app was great. Now, when I try to sign in, it keeps closing before I can do anything. If this apo was not for my job, I would simply uninstall it and find another. Please don't say send another email. Just send this email to whoever it should go to and fix the app so it will stop closing before I am able to do anything. The whole purpose was to be able to communicate with the team without having to make multiple phone calls or text messages to relay information.
