The updates from yesterday have rendered the app unusable. Some of the features have been rendered useless by Android. Since updates that happened yesterday, I get a message every 2 seconds saying the app stopped working. I click send feedback and then it opens again and does the same thing. It's making my phone unusable. In the past I paid for a bunch of features that now don't work. They have not been able to maintain the usability of this app.

I really like this app and have used it for years. The problem is when I ring the phone the found screen not longer available and I can't turn it off. I'm forced to restart the phone just to shut it off. I have a Samsung S8, I wish the company would fix this issue. Everything else is working perfectly fine. Update: Just uninstalled and reinstalled the app and reset all the features. Now at least it gives me a small pop-up notification asking if I found the phone and when I click it it stops.

Recently when I do a find my phone, it'll ring. Then when I find it, the FOUND PHONE notification that is usually on the screen to tap to shut the ringing off isn't showing up. After minutes of trying to figure it out, I keep having to reboot my phone to get it to stop. That's happened twice this week. Hoping for a fix. The app is current. Thanks.

Used to be great. However, under the guise of "Google made changes to how text messages work in new versions of Android" they pulled text message support for all versions of Android. Also, poor design for adding devices means that if you're at your three device limit you cannot even remove a device to swap in your new one, you're forced to find a computer to do it. Commander is so clunky and slow. Still useful when you need it, but no longer great.

This app has saved me multiple times. Only two of those times were actual theft type situations. One was at work where I had to get the assistance of admins and the other was at a restaurant where I walked around crying about the pics on my phone and someone eventually felt guilty enough to turn it in - I wanted to save the "gotcha" features as a last resort. The GPS location is crazy-accurate and fast (as long as your phone's settings enable it). Only downside is that some of the newer phones don't support certain features; you can email WMD support about it, I just haven't. Some of the super-useful features are only available with a paid subscription - rightfully so - which is something I'm about to do. I haven't tried other similar apps; this was just the one I DL'd first and it was the right choice. Easy to use, easy to understand, effective service, and I definitely recommend it. I also think paying for the upgrade is worth it, if it's in your budget. And it's really inexpensive for what you get. Skip that one value burger at a fast food joint and sign up.

I used to use the"ring" feature fairly often, but I haven't been able to lately. Aside from requiring verification to uninstall, no feature of this app has ever worked on my current phone. The interface has become hopelessly cluttered, and there is no way too know which features are blocked in the "Pro" version except to be hit with a pop-up when attempting to activate one.

The app has some really great features. The interface looks kind of crappy. The home screen would look much better, and be more useful, with a map with your devices marked. That big ugly gauge is an eyesore and completely useless once you're all set up. Like I previously stated, a map would be much more useful.

Ironic that this app holds its settings hostage, demanding an upgrade to Elite subscription. "Failed attempt" photo captures are forever sent to the address you give on setup. If you no longer want that person to receive those images, be prepared to pony up. So think ahead, down the road they could become embarrassing weird photos sent to your ex in the middle of the night, and you will only be able to stop it if you pay for Elite or delete the app. Guess which option I'm gonna choose!

Used the free version of this app for awhile and decided to take the plunge as I had great experiences with it so far. Nine dollars down the drain. Purchased yearly elite subscription. Didn't get added to my device(s). Tried going to the purchase screen again, selected elite and it said I already owned Elite. While the same notification of having elite is up, I would click on an elite feature and was denied. Emailed the developer, no response in two days. Refund unavailable. Looking elsewhere.

The recent update is causing the app to pop up a message every 1-2 seconds saying the app 'keeps stopping' and provides two options, either 'close app' or 'send feedback'. I've sent feedback over 5x's now, but the error message keeps popping up. When the message pops up, all functions of my phone stops. i.e. this past weekend I was video recording 4 dolphins jumping in the wake of a boat I was riding in. The app message popped up, then my video froze and then automatically deleted the video.

I can't tell you how much I love this program! I highly recommend it to everybody! I've had this app for, ohhh, bout 2 years? I still love it! Has helped me find my phone a few times. I will continue to use it as well as highly recommend it for as long as it continues to do such an outstanding job! Update 7 yrs now & still love it. Only wish is ability to turn on GPS remotely & a full screen text override to block use since we cant block it if already PW protected.

Life saving app!! We have a 2 year old that likes to take my wife's phones and leave it in random places when she isn't looking. We use this app daily to find her phone. It has saved hours of searching for it. Truth be told, we lose our phones on our own quite a bit as well, and this has been extremely helpful.... Like yesterday, when one was left in the backyard... Basically, ratings only go up to 5 stars, but this one should go up to 11.

I have been using this app for YEARS. literally at LEAST 8 years. I've always been happy with how it works. but for some reason when I install and set it up on my boyfriend's phone (has the same one as me) it literally does not work. like I will send the attention word and it just acts like it is any regular text message. it was weird but at least it has always worked on my phones. and I've been happy with it because I lose my phone frequently or I cant hear my alarm so I set up a message to deliver my attention word to wake me up (I have the flashing light and white noise siren). this has always worked but recently I've noticed it doesnt really work any more. like the white noise siren wont sound. it still raises the volume but no sound comes out? why? I tried restarting my phone and going back in the app and unlocking and reclicking the option for white noise and I keep testing it but it wont work anymore. what gives?

Edit: WAS Easy to set up, easy to use, effective. I really loved this app, the new update has gutted it. Whatever the new Android required, it wasn't worth it, I wish I had a choice but I can't justify the cost when it has none of the features I found useful. It is heartbreaking, I recovered 2 phones due to this app. I'll come back in a heartbeat if they fix, but this update killed any reason I had to have this app and thats a damn shame because it wad the best phone finder app that existed.

I reflash a new rom on my note 2 and redownload wmd pro and realize the whole GUI had changed. Took me a while to find it. This app has serve me well. I left my note2 at home while I'm at work. This app give me peace of mind knowing my phone is safe at home. #Edit 06/21/2020 Knock 2 starts. A few features main features doesn't work on newer version of Android. Very disappointing. Can't use those features on the app, have to go to web browser.

I love love loovveee this app!! I just wish it would have the dates that you can click on to see the individual history! This app years ago helped me locate the last known location of my s10. I wasn't able to find it,but I was able to find the metro card that was in the phone wallet lol in the yard of Costco. This was at 8 o clock at night. I had traveled far out into Rockaway Turnpike. I was desperate to find the phone coz I had just purchased it a month ago In 4/27/2024 it's still 🔥

Once great, now useless. I. Misplaced my phone and commander never connected to even ring the phone. After I found it, I opened Where's My Droid on the phone and then the app said it had found my phone... No it didn't, I did with zero help ---- Old review below for reference:-( Great app! It's far more comprehensive than the built in functionality from Google. I highly recommend this app.
