I signed up for the monthly subscription service. It was never processed that I paid for it despite the money being deducted from my account. I then talk to customer support.....did not resolve the issue. Waited a few days to see if it just needed time to reset or something. Nope still asking me to pay. Said fine will pay the individual look up fee. Fee was charged then the app froze and had to be closed. Still nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled nothing. So the app just stole $10 from me.

I would give 5 stars as the information gained is extremely detailed and more up to date than most apps I've tried. I drop it 2 because the frustration with the difference between the app and the the official website is freaking horrible. Do they even communicate? Dates, Lookups, even premium status is completely different. Can't even JUST USE the website because it will automatically open in the app. If it's not fixed I will have to cancel and move on. Expected more!!!

People background check has other people's history, from other states, different races, under one person's history. Pretty inaccurate. Very old history emailed as "just received" making one think it's recent till seen. So many phone numbers with no owner listed. Overall okay, but not as much accurate information as I expected. Wish I could give 2½ stars.

New version will not look at recent calls in call log. New version required manually entering the numbers. Sure not as friendly as previous versions. I am throwing the BS flag on putting all the blame on Google. I am deleting the app. Have a backbone and stand up for what is right. Don't be in the Telemarketer/Spammer back pocket just because Google gets kickbacks from them!

The amount of search does not update monthly. For two months it showed I have 0 searches left. Twice I have to email them to inform them of this. Then I was told to log in the desktop and then log back in on the app. Too much trouble to get the service that I paid for an app that doesn't lag charging me monthly. UPDATE: Issue unresolved. I gave it another chance and bought the 3.99 3 lookup. The first two counted my lookup despite saying there was an error. I do not recommend.

One star... one more than I want to rate. This app is a waste of space if you aren't paying for premium features. For instance: no matter what I look up anymore, it says something along the lines of no info available for persons, addresses, or numbers. However, when I purchase info, the same info for the same parameters magically appear. Used to be very helpful in my line of work. Now it's just a waste.

I gave up this app after my last review. I had it for over 10 years and was strongly dissatisfied. Recently, I picked it up again hoping it would have been improved. Actually it was worse, limiting the number of times accessing. It makes no sense. It costs NOTHING for the initial info. I'd rather have the old fashioned phone book, and the phone company would not charge for 4-1-1 calls. Ridiculous to call it Whitepages. It does not compare with the real white pages.

Update says it fixes the problem with reverse search not showing for those who pay the monthly fee for unlimited reverse lookups but unfortunately it doesn't. Everytime a do a reverse number search it shows no info for the number but if I then look in my history it will show the name associated with that number instead of the number. This is the main feature of the app and has been broken for several months and the developer doesn't seem to care even though people are paying every month for this to work....

The data base is pretty accurate however the app seems to have a mind of its own. Since I pay for premium the amount of look up are limited to 100. I choose to only unlock particular contacts. I have the setting turn on. It is not supposed to unlock everyone I click on. But it does. I waste my look ups on people I accidentally click on and people who don't actually live there. I think they do it on purpose so we can use up our contacts and be forced to buy more. Switch to Spokeo or fastpeople

Total money soaker. Multitude of charges for everything! Even after paying for premium! Still wants to charge for multiple items. Even half the numbers you look up. If you dont buy premium. They dont show for free. Less than honest! When you look up a numbet and they have NO results. It still counts against your limit. Currently looking for a better and more honest app.

App is extremely useful to identify high risk or spam calls/texts. I'm then able to block and/or delete them from my call history. In addition, I look up family/friends to get their addresses for sending birthday cards, gifts, invitations, etc., as well as phone numbers and addresses for businesses. So much better than the old Phone Book because it's right at your fingertips, and one app works for the whole country instead of needing a different phone book for every city. Love it, love it!!!!

Used to work really well. (Better than other apps that I've used) Doesn't work as well the past few months. For the past few months it prefills USA in for the location and is a struggle to get it changed to a city and state for a search. When you type the City and State, most of the time you now have to type it repeatedly before the change stays because the app defaults back to USA.

I wasted $4.99 for a month subscription. I had a bunch of numbers to look up so I figured I'd pay and try it for a month. You get 20 lookups, I think. The app only found 1 number! If it doesn't find it the first time you can try to search business numbers, but it's another search from your 20. I tried every number, wasted 2 searches each, the app couldn't find anything. What a waste of money to get no info!

2017: Love it. Helped me so much when I had to send out Graduation Announcements and need addresses. 2023 UPDATE: I've been using this for years and never had a problem. But now all of a sudden it's just a money skeem! They definitely lost a long time customer because money is more important than quality. There's so many more apps out there that are free and give you more information than this app does. I paid 99c and didn't even get my searches I paid for but it sure did come out of my bank!

Will input phone number lookup and receive message "we couldn't find any phone named.....(whatever number)." I am not looking for a phone with a name, but a number in search of a name. No longer able to find a person in name search when before l could. Can no longer find results for any search. Strange. Will try re-install. Did uninstall and re-install. Works perfectly. Also sent an email to support but didn't receive an acknowledgementment.

I dont know what happened, but for me, this app has always worked fantastic! I was a very satisfied customer off & on for years (I canceled my premium subscription several times but always signed up again after a short time). I've been subscribed with premium again for the last several months, but the app AND the website haven't worked for me the entire time. Again, it used to be great and I was 100% satisfied but the last several months I have been HIGHLY DISSATISFIED! 😤

Extremely disappointed. The databases are incredibly messed up. Even though I have a premium subscription, it errors out on searches and makes them unavailable. It provides different and inaccurate information for any searches that do work. When I go to check my account, it shows me different people's accounts, including their credit card information! Obviously a very unsafe and unsecured customer database. I have screenshots of this happening. Utterly useless now after their revamp.

This used to be a very decent app. I have a premium prescription. I would use it to call lists of people turning 65 using voice to fill in the name. I chose the # with a push of the button and I was calling the person. It had cell phones everything. Then, on the app I no longer had access to the premium content on the app, only on the website. I emailed support twice. They told me saying they couldn't tell me if they would ever fix that feature on the app. Complex defeat its functionality

Awful app. I purchased the one time lookup for $3.99. All it tells me is the number is low spam, which is on the free version. My "account" shows the lookup I purchased hasn't been used. I tried creating an account, but you have to buy a premium account to create an account. Now I'm stuck with no way to look up the number and a lookup credit I can't use. Total ripoff!!!!

Paid 4.99 to get the one reverse lookup address I needed. App won't let me see the info I paid 4.99 for UNLESS I also buy PREMIUM membership for something I use at most once or twice a year (well, before they became a ridiculously expensive MoneyGrab, I normally go with a different app that's far more reasonable. Should have deleted this app and saved the $5 and used the other app today too!) And there's not even a link to see the lookups done in past yrs, so I might as well delete the app.
