This app is great! Edit: It USED to be great. I could do everything I wanted with it. Summer 2023, they "updated their logo" and now the damn app doesn't work on my phone at all! I can't even log in. I've written to them and I called and spoke to a live person who assured me that someone would get back to me within a week, for sure. It's now been over 3 months, more since I first wrote. Not a peep. I've uninstalled and re-installed it several times.Why does a logo update do that?!?! -50 stars

Not enough information on each account transaction. Transactions do not go back far enough either. My other bank's apps are way more detailed in each account transactions and things you are able to track, and look up by search. This is way worse than the app you had a year and a half ago! It gives no transaction information. I hate this app and assume everyone else does too. I hope saves the company a lot of money because it it is absolutely worthless. I have bee with the company

Two updates needed: 1). Auto load most recent transactions in an account even if they haven't been in the last week. Having to tap "load more history" multiple times to find the most recent transaction that was 8 weeks ago is really annoying. 2). Allow insertion of a note/memo for account transfers. If I could make notes I would not need to login on a computer and could convenientlty use the app for 99% of my CU interactions. These 2 things would make this a 5 ⭐app for me.

App works for my purposes, website is bigger issue. I only use the app to view balances/transactions, move money, and make deposits, so it is adequate for that. The website is a bigger problem. I can't access/view statements from my phone because the right side of the screen is always cut off and you can't scroll right/left. That's super annoying. The App currently works for my purposes.

Used to work fine. Now every time I try to log in it gives an error message saying "Unable to complete request. Try back shortly." [12-25-2019] The above issue has been fixed. [12-25-2019] Issue #2: On the Wings Financial desktop site, there's an option to hide the accounts we don't want to see in our accounts list. This feature is especially helpful when you have access to multiple accounts, but only want to view your accounts. Can you PLEASE add this same option on the mobile app??

Checking/saving accounts doesn't provide any information! No account number, routing, APR. It doesn't link to zelle to make secured payments to friends. You can't even dispute FRAUD. Auto loan doesn't show original loan amount, APR, amount paid so far, 10 day pay off, nothing! I was considering switching from Capitol One, but everything is so basic, limiting, archaic. The app does nothing more than provide a very basic screenshot of your accounts, almost pointless to use at all.

Unable to manage their credit card (notifications, auto payments, etc) on their own app. Even just getting relevant information is not possible through the app, except for the most basic info. GUI also needs work, as the CC due date is cut off, and not visible. In general, they clearly put little effort into providing a useful app

As an alternative to the Wings website, the Wings Mobile app offers similar functionality, although it uses a very different layout. It works great once you get used to the app and find out where everything is. The mobile deposit has received updates over the past few years and is consistently reliable. Managing travel on Visa cards works great too.

After posting a negative review of the app due to issues with and then the disappearance of mobile deposit on my app, it magically re-appeared. It still has the issues of the auto-capture camera pre-maturely taking pictures of the check to be deposited. Otherwise, the app is back to full functionality for me. When the app is working in it's entirety, it is great. Makes banking remotely much easier!

One thing I'd like to see in the mobile app is account information (account/routing#) - if it can be accessed at all, it's not convenient. Even on the web version of account management they provide just the account number and not the routing number anywhere visible. This would be nice for ease of copy+paste into bank information setup pages. Edit: I went to write the same thing in a review today and found that I had already done so... Two years ago. This is a silly thing not to include.

I love the app, but one thing that could be improved is the ability to modify or add reoccurring transfers in the app instead of having to go to the wings website. I use reoccurring transfers extremely frequently so it would be really convenient if I could use all of the full site services in the app. In the list of options on the left, mobile deposit is listed twice by the way!

Pretty good, but... Needs more detail per checking account transaction, (i.e. Full Name of debtor, not just first 10 letters; and phone number would be very helpful). TCF checking accounts have a lot of detail which makes balancing a lot easier. Credit Card details are VERY confusing. It repeats a lot of transactions, doesn't have running balance, and doesn't appear in date order. CANNOT balance ANYTHING!

App is well designed and optimized. They have great features that intigrate with the website, however the information update rate, accuracy of data, and functionally are spotty at best. I should note, the core functions (transfer and statement viewing) have no issues, and Mobile deposits work every time. Very well crafted app, but it'd be nice if the money tracker and some of the other fringe features worked more consistently.

Everytime I tried to pay my cc and it gives me an error saying Server error /Mobile application. When it works its great, but this happens a lot. I have an samsung S21 for reference. It's frustrating when I'm trying to pay bills on time and this happens. I hope it's just me and this gets resolved quickly. Just to note. I do have the latest version installed. Plus, connectivity/wifi. Thanks for the prompt follow-up too.

Horrible. I went to deposit a check, and to my surprise my old app had disappeared. I finally found it by going to settings only to find out the app had been removed and replaced by the new version. After about 45 minutes I finally made my deposit. Unfortunately the only way to get into the app is through settings. This app is about as handy as SKY when using the telephone. It's easier and faster to drive to the nearest branch and talk to a screen there.

Yikes! Classic app update that jams crummy features like'spend analysis' into what was once a working app. Plenty of UI issues including the brilliantly white backgrounds but I'm uninstalling because the app doesn't require a verification step after locking the screen, it goes right back to my accounts without a biometric or pin re-entry. EDIT: The response doesn't address the security concerns. Activating all the security features STILL allows the app to be opened without re-verification.

I have used Wings for well over a decade now and this new update seems to be doing everything it can to drive me to a new banking service. The new UI is extremely harsh on the eyes and has been very frustrating to find any old features. Having to give access to my location to be able to log in to my account is also extremely unsettling, regardless of reason you have no reason to need that information. And having turned quick access into a widget is also another poor choice, it was fine before.

There are maybe one or two parts of the new app that have improved over the old one, like MFA. But everything else has been miserably worse. The new app doesn't even have fundamental privacy features the old app had such as; requiring login when the app is inactive or the phone is locked. Or hiding the balances when the app draw preview is up. Or blocking screen shots. You know... the basics. Also, no dark mode? Come on and catch up.

New version needs work! Tried re-setting up my alerts and found the process so unfriendly I gave up. Will see if I can do it on the desktop. I want to see checking acct for alerts - it's not presented first - I have to go through and add accounts to see it, and can't pick which one. Of course it's not the first, second or third one. Grr. Who designed this UX process?? It's a nightmare!

I was disappointed in the previous app decisions to remove certain features, but it was secure and worked well for common banking needs. The new app is a blinding failure, in appearance, security and functionality. I literally have to tap each icon multiple times before it'll accept that input. No, it's not my phone causing the issue! Please put an experienced app development team on this catastrophe ASAP.
