work while app platform is not good to use for work. they do not have any good positions. all of the work that shows up is out of town, the pay is too low, they only offered w2 warehouse work. which means u get paid like a regular job, the idea was to do gig work and be paid the same day. this app is classified as that type of app and work but it isn't. and they will put in the app that if u refer someone u get 50$ within 24hrs and that is a lie. support team isn't supportive. use Instawork app

Something Went Wrong. Please Try Again. ERROR. I've un-installed the app twice and restarted my phone and still get this error After the warning that an update is needed and pressed the please continue button. I was supposed to work in 12 hours.

Have done all the steps, it's been installed for a couple of hours now, and still says it's "actively adding jobs from Olympia" with no results so far, though originally it said 165 jobs in my area. Not sure this app is gonna be worth it, but I'll wait a little longer and see.

Have had this app for two weeks now and not a single job listing has posted. A few days ago, I got a text from a workwhile number "Hi this is Paisley from Workwhile, we have a few jobs in your area, are you interested in learning more?" I reply "yes". The reply to my text literally was "OKay?" ?..... this app is almost like a joke, and evidently they have no real customer service with morons behind the scenes

I did the orientation and the questions they had. I knew the answer. However, the choices I was given both was incorrect and only got one out of six right. Now I have to wait 3 months to try again. So there is some bugs on it.

Horrible service! Limited jobs available. The jobs that are available probably don't pay well and/or may be too far. You jump through hoops. They want lots of personal info. Interface is iffy. Customer service is excellent. I feel like it's a scam! I don't personally trust the positive reviews. Maybe they are seeing something different. Be careful...

All jobs are full and only have option to join the wait list, even after joining the wait list whenever an opening is available I'll get a push notification via text message saying that a spot had opened up and when I click the link in tge message the app opens but it shows no open jobs in my app..this has happened at least 8 times in the last 2 weeks. I'll get the text about waitlist spot opening up and click the link the second I receive it, app opens, shows no open jobs...beyond irritating...

It states there are No jobs in my area AFTER I set up and interview. Of course I misssed it as the app showed an error message and doesn't allow you to do anything. The message was they will email or text when something is in my area. The app has no buttons. I was sent a text to reschedulw but cant do that. The website is not helpful for customer service either. No means of contact. It would be great if the app also finds work while you are traveling instead of just checking the address you used

The interface and navigation are easy and the availability of work appears ideal. And I would like to accept work through the app but it will NOT accept the addition of my debit card information. It let's me enter all the information required but when I click on SUBMIT the page just closes. I go to check the main page and it continues to tell me to ADD PAYMENT INFO. I don't know what to do.

Awesome experience with this app based temp agency. The app is incredibly simple and realistic. My favorite features are the ability to pick and choose which jobs I'm interested in based on location and availability. Live help agent is always a few clicks away and have always been courteous and prompt. No joke or strings attached. Workwhile is the real deal. They have helped me alot during the past few months as we are all beginning to realize what inflation is doing to our society.

Not a bad app but it could use improvement. There is no option to change your phone number within the app. Uppity have to contact customer service and wait 3 days for it to update. That's no fun! You're also not allowed to allow push notifications. When sites post shifts you're non l none there wiser unless you constantly check with is rather inconvenient. Other than that, it's a pretty solid app.

Very simple and fluid app to use. I like it better than insta work for picking up shifts when I'm home from traveling around. However I wish there were more jobs available in my local area instead of far out of the way. It's not a big deal if you drive and have a car, but I imagine that for someone who doesn't it limits the jobs you can book and get to as most of the jobs posted start at 8am (if not earlier). Overall not bad at all, just has to get more accessible jobs imo.

App is incredibly slow and buggy, you won't be able to accept shift that literally just pop up because the load time. This feature has continuously prevented me from being able to accept the few meager shifts that have been in the app. I have noticed several updates in the past few weeks and that problem seems to have started then and it's quite disheartening. UPDATE: After reaching out to support, they still claim that there is not an issue and have been completely unhelpful. DO BETTER.

I started in December 2023 I'm on the preferred access list at 2 places and can't get a shift to save my life the last 2 weeks. They fill faster than I can open my app. You'll get paid in a day and the hrly rate is decent. They have customer service through the app. I had one issue with pay that was resolved within a day. I'm in Chicago area fyi. They need to allow you to be able to sign up for multiple days at once if it's at the same place instead of one day at a time.

I was so looking forward to using this app; haven't been able to find ANY conventional work in six months and this probably would've been my godsend. However, I opened it up today and it gave an error message that said 'An update is available that must be installed', and won't let me do anything in the app. I had the latest version, but tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and it still gave me the same error. Can't do anything within the app. HUGE disappointment. :(

I just completed my first shift yesterday! This a very legitimate app, and it pays quite well. Since Shiftsmart hasn't been coming through with shifts, I've been using this as an alternative. However, the only issue I have is that it doesn't give shifts near Victorville. I hope that they fix this issue soon. But overall, the app is great 👍

Since the latest update it performs worse. If signing in works, most likely the next menu or prompt button clicked causes the eternal "loading wheel" aka blank screen with a moving circle. I have cleared the cache, uninstalled, and reset my password more than a dozen times since July 2nd. *Update* their reply to the post was quick, so +1*. The detailed email sent yesterday is the key for R&D. Hopefully it helps solve the problems.
