Overall the game has a solid foundation, id love to see it play abit more like other sports management games (ie Top Eleven football) and give you more control over the team and the outcome of each individual game in real time. Training system for players seems good and they do level up at a good rate however you do have to spend alot coins to rank up more players so overall the training system could be tweaked. Since the last update challenge games dont load and i dont see results for a while.

EDIT: this is a great game for new players, but once you get to the higher levels you basically need to pay to play. You used to be able to get around this by developing young players in the academy, but the last update really broke that. Each training session improves skills less than it used to and they took away the ability to train individual players with the unlimited "General" card. This makes it vastly more difficult to train up a full academy of young players and basically impossible to train goalies, since they can only be trained using a single card type. With 15+ card types and reduced training improvement you'll never get enough goaltender cards to train a high-level goalie.

You make rapid progress at first and can develop players and sign exciting players...even if it doesn't appear that better cards, play any better...results seem a little random. You eventually hit a wall and the game stops. You can't get enough coins which you need to sign players (the achievements to earn coins become prohibitive) and the cash you get goes on contracts which at a certain point become untenable. Of course you can pay a lot of real world money and you'll win..your choice.

Been playing this game for almost a year in two different devices. This last update has completely killed the game. This game and company went from giving every person the opportunity to play, to now only allowing people willing to spend a great deal of money to play. Not to mention the fact that I can't even log in anymore. Might go down as one of the worst updates of any game ever.

have been playing this game for over a year and used to be really fun. I have wasted a lot of time building my team up just to watch it get destroyed by the last few updates. Really was hoping it would change, but just gets worse. Stop messing with the damn sponsor packs!! you come up with a plan to keep your players, then bam an update, now you dont get as much money every day for playing. Oh well I have a lot more time to do other stuff now so I guess thanks.

If you like hockey and what goes into making teams successful then you'll like this app. I miss the previous version where they had line chemistry but it's straight. For someone like myself that knows the sport well and what to look for then you'll enjoy yourself. But please bring back some of the old features.

The graphics, outline, and idea are all great... But, please include more animation type things such as a quick Zamboni animation in between periods, and change the view of the game from just viewing ice, to being able to play in our own arena. The animated picture of our arena in the "Club" section, should be the terrain and landscape that we should play in. Thank you.

The game was kinda fun at first, but then it just got boring. Changing tactics seemed to have no effect and was also pointless because you had no idea what the other team was doing. If you missed playing the game just one day, you could lose players on your team due to the contract being up. I really wanted to have a good time with this game, I played it for quite some time, but at the end, it felt more like a hassle and less like it was fun.

New review: Recent version update error, tells me to get new version, I install latest version from PlayStore and it tells me to get new version! Maddening! And I'm probably losing players off contract while I can't reconnect! Old review: Recent game updates have turned this heavily into a pay to play game. If you don't pay up, you won't be competitive. Weekend team social rewards have been downgraded several times and your team will end up completely injured with no healing cards available.

Wish there was a bit more that you could do, you can only really do the 7wins for pack, train, and get sponsor rewards(every so many hours)... sometimes feels like you're stuck because of limited cash/ways to earn it, and if you wanna grind games out you gotta watch ads or spend money(spending money doesn't remove ads for you either). Other than that, pretty solid game

It was an awesome game, but they've made so many changes and almost every update sends me through a repetitive loop to try and download the latest version. Which it sends me to play store and won't let me download until days later. I haven't been getting credit for my sold cards and my multiple emails to support are ignored. The tech support is either nonexistent or just doesn't care, so why should I? After 2 years it's time to delete the app.

Energy levels are a bit slow, but other than that gameplay is cool. Tutorial could be more useful. Update 06/29/22: The energy regens are the same, but the ads make it better. Rewards for the weekend are a little weak but managable. The biggest issue is injuries. They need to be reworked.

I like this app so far. It took me a little while to figure out how to navigate irate it. The (i) icons were huge for learning. I do wish the was a more detailed encyclopedia for the game. A single reference point kind of thing. Also a way to "redesign" my team. I regret the name and emblem I chose at the start. But over all I really like this app. My advice to newbies is stick with it. As u learn and understand it, it really starts to get better!

Uninstalled after getting furious with this game. Had a lot of fun at first, it was exactly what I was looking for in this style of game, then the game's win/loss RNG or something decided to screw me over. The occasional loss was one thing, but three or four consecutive losses against significantly lower-ranked teams made me reconsider keeping this game.

I have developed two teams in 1.5 yrs, kept players' costs down, saved game cash to upgrade facilities to level 11/12 with my 1st team, level 8/9 with my 2nd team. All-Star League and Gold League I. The frequent "Failed to Connect" is driving me and many others CRAZY. Too bad that ads and partnerships have not resulted in smoother game connectivity. Really disappointed in WHM and Gold Town Games.

idk how many times I've lost out on rewards and lost matches because I go to log in during the morning and it tells me to download the new version. but there isn't a new version to download. now I go from first place down to 7th and lose a bunch of coins which are high value. I've been playing this for over 2 years and I think I might be nearing the end with it

Unstable ap. Very. I also just want a way to "pause" the game. Sometimes I travel to areas without signal, and I guess I just have to accept that all of the effort that I put into winning is for nothing when I return. The AI and game continue to play, even when you aren't able to use it. You miss out on rewards, and your team is affected by low energy and morale if you lose a game...causing more of the same in a spiraling effect if you don't have a signal and can't keep up every 8 hours.

Used to be a Great game, but they have cut back heavily on rewards and have Made it difficult to get ahead. It's ok to make money from players, but it should be fully possible to play the game without paying. Getting towards the end of my tolerance for this. Edit2: at this point, the game is a waste of my time. I keep getting relegated and promoted between allstar leagues. Ridiculous. Uninstalling

It's pay to play and about 150% more expensive than most pay to play. There's no way to really make in-game currency to progress. When you do progress and upgrade, it's not balanced very well. All that being said, the base game can be fun at times and has really good potential.

I was turned off by the negative reviews, but I like hockey so I went with it anyway. Very glad I did. This is not a pay to play game, I've been at it a few months and I'm always matched against equal opponents. You can play a lot or as little as you want, sure a minute (literally) worth of ads a day to gets a few extra gold. Fun. Just wish you could rename players
